Roaring Into The Storm: Wyvern vs. Alizeh Midori 2

To say Wyvern had a plan before attempting her prank on Alizeh would be an egregious falsehood. After the physical and mental intensity of the preceding match, she was barely capable of conscious thought, let alone anticipating the consequences of her actions. Even thinking coherently was an effort of will in her current state. She noticed an imbalance in Alizeh's stance, and took advantage of it in order to get something up on the American after her devastating loss. Even she herself is somewhat surprised as the two fall back onto the canvas, now with Alizeh's face, and body, uncomfortably close to her own. Or was it too comfortably? She's been in close contact with Alizeh plenty of times during their matches, but there was a different, not all together unpleasant, quality to it when they weren't in the middle of trying to throttle each other.

Wyvern has a lot of feelings right now.

Alizeh's teasing and the additional pressure near her waist suddenly snaps Wyvern into focus as she realizes the potential implications of her actions and the current situation...as well as the extremely public nature of the current setting. A quick glance to the audience reveals a nearly unbroken wall of phones as fans snap pictures of the two wrestlers. When she turns her head back to meet Alizeh's eyes, her own have widened to their limits, her exhaustion and the unusual situation breaking through her usual veneer of stoicism like wet paper. A bright flush quickly begins building on her face, the paleness of her skin allowing her to go nearly crimson in embarassment. Suppressing a knee-jerk reaction to punch Alizeh in the throat, somehow keeping herself together enough to realize that violence, for once, would in no way make her problems any better, the Irishwoman's mouth begins working a few seconds before she manages to get any sound out.

"No! I mean...that wasn't...it's not that...I just...it was..."

Perhaps the only saving grace for Wyvern is the fact that, at this distance and with her hair in the way, her current state won't be easily visible to the cameras. Alizeh is getting a unique view.

After such a long, gruelling and utterly pain filled war against Wyvern the last thing Alizeh expected was for the girl to pull her down on top of her in what she could only guess was a prank. But poor, sweet innocent Saoirse didn't know just how big a mistake that was against the promiscuous and teasing Alizeh who couldn't help but poke fun at the situation. Something that seemed to cause the dark haired girl's brain to shut down as her entire face turned a deep, bright shade of red, almost as if a fire had been litten inside of her and not in the competitive way.

"Pfft hehe." Trying and failing to hold back her snickering at the look on Wyvern's face Alizeh knew that the girl would be utterly mortified if anyone saw her expression right now since it would ruin the whole 'tough as nails badass aesthetic she had going on. So remained parked where she was, blocking view of the dark haired girl's face with a wink to let her know that she had back.

Once the blush would go down though, and knowing that they'd need to come in and work on the ring sooner than later Alizeh would start to stand, something that was still really hard to do, but she could manage it, and she'd manage hauling Wyvern up along with her. "Lets get ya up so they can take a look at you backstage." Alizeh would say, trying to lean Wyvern against her, with maybe her head tucked close to Alizeh's neck as well in case she still had some lingering redness.

Wyvern hates almost everything about this situation. She can feel herself blushing, and can't stand her own weakness. She wants to be strong. To be able to stand alongside the strongest fighters in wrestling, not just chase their shadows. Today had been a vicious reminder of exactly how far she still had to go. Even more galling, Alizeh is laughing at her, yet still protecting her from being exposed to the crowd. Another way in which she's outdone by the older girl. The entire scenario is shameful and embarassing in ways Wyvern has never had to experience before, but ultimately, it could also be far worse. Lacking the ability to truly influence the situation, she decides to accept it. She needs to keep moving forward.

As always, when conscious thought fails her, Wyvern retreats into her training. Closing her eyes to remove the distraction of Alizeh's face, the Irishwoman begins a breathing exercise to get herself under control. Even with Alizeh's body still pressing into her and the curious buzzing of the crowd, the familiarity helps to calm her as much as the exercise itself. Within a few moments, the blush fades from her cheeks and her expression returns to its usual, neutral state. The moment, for better or worse, has passed.

Wyvern gently but forcefully rejects Alizeh's assistance in rising to her feet, managing to do so with relatively little trouble despite the condition of her leg and general exhausting following the match. Once she's up, however, walking proves considerably more difficult, and she reluctantly assists the American wrestler's help in getting to the back. For once, she has no sharp-tongued retort for Alizeh.
