Re: Dizzy Belti vs. Hollywood Siren: Double Debut!

Hearing the name Hollywood Siren again from the ring announcer brought out the slightest sign of appreciation from her otherwise all-bitch, all-business demeanor. Siren flicked a sassy blown kiss at the crowd as she had her hand raised, and shortly after, she leaned on the top rope and gazed out over the crowd like a queen admiring her queendom. Hearing their appreciation did her a world of good for knowing that this person she wanted to portray would work. They appreciated the show. None of them would know it, but it had truly been a show, one that Alicia knew all too well had starred Dizzy half as much as Siren.

The big Latina turned to take a glance at her for at least some sort of parting acknowledgement. Catching her backstage might be the better bet, but something told her...ah, yep. Mama Belti was already hovering over her daughter and looking like she wanted to kill Siren. Probably wasn't going to get an audience with the daughter anytime tonight. But to her surprise, the daughter wanted her company. Though not a touch of fear filled her when it came to Angela, despite the other woman being one of the few bigger than Siren, she weighed whether she should make her way to them. Too much to show a little sportsmanship for the big, bad Hollywood bitch?

Maybe not.

Siren walked over, hands on her hips, partially to look like the most important woman in the ring and partially because the adrenaline had started to die down and the muscle fatigue had started to set in big time. Though Dizzy looked absolutely downtrodden (with that mom of hers, she must have learned these acting skills early), but she showered the half-Latin beauty with nothing but praise. And Siren had to keep her face straight when she expected mama to do the same. With a flick of her hair as she turned her head to Angela, Siren just looked at her with a cool expectancy, challenging her to either agree or say what she really wanted to say.

She decided to say nothing. Did Siren consider that a victory? Hell yeah she did.

When mama turned away, deciding to turn her attention to Dizzy, Siren stole another quick wink down at the little Italian before deciding to fully break character. She gave a quick gesture in Desdemona's direction before raising her hands over her head and clapping a few times, driving some in the crowd to join in with a small clap for the efforts of the little Italian still lying on the ground. Then she returned to her business, swaying hips carrying her with purpose back up the ramp.

That had made for a hell of a night.

Uh. Damn it, Mom.

Given all that had happened, Dizzy didn’t exactly expect her mother to give Angela a high-five, but she figured the woman would at least acknowledge the younger wrestler. She was always going on and on about how women today didn’t have any respect for the business, how they didn’t know how to work the crowd, how they were just about the style and no substance. On paper, she should’ve loved Alicia. Sure, okay, she made a habit of rubbing her crotch all over her daughter’s face, but once you got past all that, she was a great wrestler. Strong, stylish, skilled. All the tools.

Dizzy hadn't even been in the business for two months, didn’t even care about wrestling at all before half a year ago, and even she could see it. The crowd could see it. A blind man could see. Alicia Soto was a star.

So, when she refused to give someone like her due props, it was more than a little chaffing to Dizzy. All she could do was give her dance partner a slight shrug and a slighter wave as she went out the ring, watching as she made her way up the ramp and threw some spare applause her way.

What a match. What a woman.

”Can you stand?”

Her mother’s words brought her back, and she looked up at the taller woman with a quick nod, before she grabbed the middle rope and used it to rise. Dizzy dusted herself off, then made it to the ropes, slipping through to the apron while her mother watch. [col. ”Yeah, I’m good. A little crick in my neck from the scissors, but it’ll pass.”

”Yes, it will.” Angela brought her leg over the top rope and came out on the apron, following her daughter. ”I know that had to be rough for you. If you need a few days to recoup, take it easy…”

Dizzy shook her head as she made her way over to the ramp, slapping hands with the fans as she did. They definitely seemed more enthused to see her than before, especially the ones who were close enough to see what had really gone down in that ring. Thank God her mother still hadn't gotten the hang of Japanese. ”Nah, no, I’ll be good in a day. Then I want to hit the gym again for some training. I’ve got a few ideas I want to try out.”

And that much was true - she did have ideas. Fun ideas. Interesting ideas. Satisfying ideas. All of which involved a certain Latin beauty.

Yeah, this was the day Dizzy decided she really liked wrestling.

Winner by submission: Alicia Soto, the Hollywood Siren
