Kennedy then quickly hooked both legs and turned to the ref urging her to count out the Irishwoman.

“1!”

Peggy was down and out, motionless as the count marched on.

"TWO!"

"THREE!"

The bell rang and a barely aware Peggy felt her stomach sink. The other amazon jungle themed wrestler... there seemed to be so many of those... had won. Her chance to prove herself instead turned into some new wrestler walking into LAW and taking it to Peggy. When Kennedy got up Peggy would cover her face in her arms feeling embarrassment and frustration wash over her.

Kennedy heard the three count and got the win with her finisher as the referee helped her up raising her arm in victory.

“Here is your winner, Kennedy Lee!”

Kennedy cheered for herself getting a mixed reaction out of the crowd and climbed one of the corners roaring to the crowd. Kennedy then looked back and saw Peggy curling up on the canvas hopping down before going over to extend a hand out to her.

“That was a good fight, hon. You ain’t no joke,” Kennedy praised as she would help the Irishwoman up to her feet. “I got no doubt you can continue to kick ass in this series.”

On the bright side as much as Kennedy was all about winning no matter the cost in the ring she seemed like a better more gracious winner than many in LAW. She accepted the help up wobbling about as she shook her head, falling to 0-2 in the qualifier matches and knowing she needed to win the next one to have some momentum going into Apex.

"T-thanks. You... you got me." Peggy said to the woman who debuted in LAW by really taking it to Peggy. The Irish wrestler gave her a nod and was otherwise silent reflecting on the continued work she had to do. Having lost more than she won this was a common theme for Peggy and one that she didn't particularly care for. She needed to come back out and win her next couple matches at least hoping to get something going before her Apex match.
