Dana Ashford vs. Thereisa Niedermeyer - Friend or Foe

With her eyes primed on Thereisa, Dana could see that her opponent was coming to her, though she couldn't move herself out of her way in time, so she had to resort to softening the incoming blow by bringing her arms up, blocking the incoming kick with them. While she still took damage from the hit, at the very least she was able to protect her head.

Of course, it still hurt and Dana was downed by the attack. She grunted as she would roll herself over to her side, trying her best to regain her bearing. She was hoping that she could regain enough strength so that she could turn the table somehow and launch a counterattack when Thereisa least expected it.

Seeing that she was able to take her opponent down with her stardust kick. But she didn't get all of it due to Dana putting her arms up to take the brunt of the move, but it did it job as the impact behind the kick was still able to make the heavier woman crash to the canvas in a heap before watching Dana get back up to a center as quickly as possible.

That was all Thereisa needed as she would grab her opponent by the arm and Irish whip the older woman to the ring ropes... before waiting for Dana to rebound and come back to her as she would leave her feet and jump onto the other woman shoulders, sitting up for her Frankensteiner finishing move to spike the other woman head to the canvas.

Dana was on the mat after being knocked down earlier. Then, she was pulled up by Thereisa before she was sent running towards the ropes with an Irish whip. Knowing what her opponent might do next, Dana would go with the flow, following the motion as she would run towards the ropes and rebound back from them, returning back to where Thereisa was.

As expected, as soon as she was getting closer to Thereisa, she saw her leaping up in her attempt to execute a frankensteiner. But Dana was already prepared for it. As soon as Thereisa got her legs around her head, Dana would quickly bring her hands onto Thereisa's thighs as she would leap up before dropping herself down into a sitout position before attempting to bring her opponent down with a powerbomb!

Thereisa was all set to land her move and end the match. She had built up a lot of momentum and was ready to land her finisher on her friend, even though she had only landed her move only two times against Dana, so she was going for a third time in their history.

But as she had landed right on her opponent shoulders was not able to fall back like she would to spike her opponent head to the canvas with brute force, but Dana hands would grip her thighs and keep them there forcing her to stay up and she knows what about happening but can't stop it either. 'UUUUGHHHH' Thereisa cries out, being power bombed to the canvas even as her body bounces off the mat a bit before coming still, due to the force behind the move.

Successfully reversing Thereisa's attempt to bring her down with the frankensteiner into a powerbomb, Dana huffed out as she looked at her opponent. Seeing the condition Thereisa was in, Dana decided that she might as well finish her off with one devastating move. Picking herself up, she would walk around her opponent before bending down to grab her by her head, pulling her up and getting her into a front facelock, making sure that her hold around her head was snug for what she was about to do next.

"I'm taking this win now."

Dana spoke to Thereisa before she hoisted her up, holding her upside down, as if she were about to bring her down with a vertical suplex. But instead of falling backwards to execute vertical suplex, Dana would then slam Thereisa down as hard as she could, making use of her own body weight as well to maximize damage, executing her signature finisher, a jackhammer, which was also known as Sword of Damocles!

Thereisa was on her last legs as Dana had countered her finisher with brutal force. Her head tilted to the side as she would be easy picking for the older woman who just needed one moment and was able to take advantage of, As she can feel herself being lifted up to her feet for what sure to be her friend finisher..one that she knows all too well about taking when they was younger.

As she is hosted up into the air for a minute.... before feeling the canvas slam into her back and with her opponent weight on top of her crushing her along with it did more hen enough to take her out of the match completely. 'GGGUUUUHHHHHHH' as Thereisa goes still. Her leg twitches as the wind feels like it was just knocked out of her completely as she doesn't have any strength left to try to kick out of the finisher at all, as a weak groan leaves her lips as she is defenseless right now and done.

Sending Thereisa down onto the mat with the Sword of Damocles, Dana would take a brief look at her face and smile before she positioned herself on top of her, going for a pinfall attempt. She knew how devastating the move was, and as she pinned her, she hooked one of her arms under Thereisa's leg, lifting it up. The referee would also come over and start counting for the pin.

"ONE!"

The ref's hand would smack the canvas, seeing as Thereisa was not able to beat the three count to get up at all. Her leg twitches weakly before going still, as she would mentally kick herself for losing to her old friend and rival again.

But this one is more embarrassing due to having the older woman and instead of going for something new to defeat Dana... She went for her finisher which the woman has countered and taken many times from her.

With the third count, the match was over. Dana picked herself up, sighing in relief after successfully defeating Thereisa. She had to admit that her old friend was quite a hurdle to overcome, but here she was, standing tall over her defeated form. Dana had her arm raised by the referee, being declared the winner of the match as her music was played from the loudspeakers.

"Well, that was fun. Hope we can do this again sometime~"

After giving Thereisa her parting words, Dana made her leave, slipping out of the ropes and exiting the ring, making her way to the backstage area. There were more people cheering for her despite her being a detestable figure in the ring, and she knew that regardless of what they thought about her, there was no denying that Dana Ashford was a marvel to look at in the ring.
