Overcoming Zeal (Hangaku vs. Raina)

Hangaku stopped her momentum once the sliding kick hit, and she quickly spun herself around to witness Raina's trip and stagger back. A hit that got the crowd to gasp and watch further with surprise as the Warrior continued her momentum. She's down. It was the only thought that sounded before she continued moving, spinning her leg out toward Raina's face for a kick. They were both at roughly the same level now, a solid kick to the jaw was possible, and it'd definitely hurt if it connected.

Hangaku was on a streak of destruction across Raina’s body. She had saw one fleeting moment of Raina’s resolve breaking and took her chance. The sweep brought Raina down, but that wasn’t enough to satisfy the warrior.

A spin kick snapped out into her jaw. This hurt. A particularly painful shot caused Raina to go glassy eyed, her body slamming onto the canvas, back first. Her hands wrapped around her chin, pain surging through her figure. She’d hiss lightly, holding her mouth with her bare fingers, rage starting to cloud again. She had bit her lip from the kick and while it was good it wasn’t her tongue.. the busted lip hurt like an absolute bitch, but currently Raina was just too overwhelmed to even shout, writhing on her back from the pain!

The groaned from the crowd got even Hangaku internally wincing at the blow. She could feel every bit of the blow as her heel slammed into Raina's jaw. From the crack along she knew some cut, and as she spun back into place she slow the small trail of blood and the bloodied lip, both her and crowd grimacing at the sight. "... ..." Still, Hangaku only bit down on her lip to block out any sympathy or emapthy to push forward. Hesitate at this point was a death sentence. As bad as she felt for going all out like that she knew the best way to end Raina's pain and give those injuries a chance to properly heal was to end this match as soon as possible.

And with that thought in mind she moved forward to pin Raina with a simple leghook. Raina already looked out of it, and the bleeding lip and pain might hopefully keep her down long enough for a three-count. Stay down... It was partly a mental scolding, partly a prayer.
