A Rookies Resolve: Tara Jaeger vs Ai Sakurai

Tara smirked softly as she pulled on Ai's leg, doing a substantial amount of damage to the limb with her Calf Slicer, and knowing it just by the sounds of her rookie opponent's sounds of pain. The perfect form of vengeance for the girl's earlier submission hold that had Tara in a similar state.

Even so however the fun wouldn't last forever. Despite her best efforts to make the girl tap beforehand Ai finally managed to grab hold onto the ropes to initiate a rope break. Smirking softly still Tara would obey the ref and undo the submission hold, rolling back and getting up, watching with a smirk as she waited for the girl to get back up with the ropes.

Tara's hold was excruciating and despite her best efforts to hide it, Ai was in a world of pain. It was a punishment Ai knew she would not be able to endure for long. Luckily she managed to reach the ropes before the torment became unbearable, and Tara had to release the hold. Still the pain continued and Ai pulled herself closer to the ropes trying to get away from Tara as quickly as possible.

Very slowly Ai got back to her feet, still holding the ropes and using them for support, favoring her aching leg. Ai could feel the muscle in her calf almost pulsing and knew she was not going to be able to endure any more punishment in leg. She needed to beat Tara and quickly. She tried to move out of the ropes but as soon as she put some weight on that leg, the pain made her cute face twist with agony.

Tara smirked deviously as she watched and waited for Ai to stand up, stalking her rookie opponent like a panther would its prey before lunging for the kill. Tara knew that the girl's leg must have been in utter agony right now, meaning that if there were ever a chance for Tara to end this match it would be right here and right now with her opponent in such a weakened, slowed state.

So the moment Ai got to her feet and took a step forward, only to immediately stop and cringe in pain was all Tara needed to act. Dashing forward at the highest speed she could right now Tara would attempt to leap up towards the girl and throw her leg forward as she did so, attempting to drive her knee into the girl's face with her signature move the bolt burst!

Ai recovered almost instantly after her misstep. The pain on her leg was intense but she had learned from very early in her training to fight through it. Unfortunately for Ai, Tara didn't needed more than a split second to strike. Jumping in with blinding speed as soon as she noticed Ai's hesitation, Tara jumped up and slammed a brutal knee right on Ai's pretty face. Ai tried to raise her arms to block but she was too late and Tara's knee crushed her cheek, sending her head snapping to the side with lots of saliva flying from Ai's lips. The hit nearly knocked her unconscious but Ai somehow managed to remain awake. Still her legs went limp under her body and Ai fell down to the mats like a sack of bricks. The whole world spinning around her as she laid on the canvas, feeling her cheek swelling and her senses dwindling .

Tara had done it. Successfully driving her knee into the face of Ai she knocked the girl clear off her feet and to the mat in one fell swoop. Landing on her feet and looking over her shoulder at the body of her opponent Tara would smirk smugly seeing the already swelling cheek and dim lit eyes of her opponent. "Guess that hurt huh?" Tara asked, knowing the odds of getting a response was slim to none. In face. Approaching her foe from the side Tara would suddenly jump up, raising her leg up and dropping down to land in a perfect split... right over Ai's face, smothering her while one of Tara's hands went to the top of the girl's chest as well, pushing her down against the mat for a pinfall attempt, the ref dropping down to make the count!
