Misako had vowed she wouldn't submit. She was going to ride it out as long as she had to, just to show her defiance to Mary - the last thing she needed was for her pride to have to bear the burden of losing to someone so hopeless, especially when it was through submission. But as her legs bent further and further, her muscles and joints buckling and the fabric of her trunks receding deeper between her cheeks, the pain was growing nigh-unbearable. Any further, and Misako felt like her leg would snap - and, reluctantly, she saw her only way out.

As soon as Mary let go of her, Misako rolled up onto her knees, groaning under her breath. She rubbed at her inner thigh to try and dull the ache, wincing as she did. "Gah...ow..." Then, she looked up to see Mary holding a hand out to her - and that fact only stoked Misako's anger more. Her teeth clenched and her brows narrowed. She might have had to tap out to Mary, but she wasn't going to act like she needed her help. Even if she did.

"Piss off!" Misako snapped, swatting Mary's hand aside. "I don't need the help anyway..." She climbed back to her feet, but teetered in place, her sore legs buckling under her weight as they tried to support her. The delinquent hissed, reaching out to the ropes to try and brace herself. It hurt, but it was better than looking weak to anyone - no less to Mary.

Mary was dissapointed, but not surprised when Misako stubbornly rejected her wanting to help her opponent get up. Mary could tell Misako's legs were in some extremely serious pain, but Misako didn't want her help. "Fine then, just don't hurt yourself on the way back." Mary said before turning her back on Misako and heading out of the ring.

Mary headed out of the back a winner, knowing that she defeated a tough opponent who didn't want her sympathy.

Even as she limped her way toward the ropes, Misako was cursing her luck under her breath. Whenever she put weight down on her bad leg, a jolt of pain went up her nerves, causing her to shudder and bend over forward. Maybe, she thought, she'd made the wrong choice in not taking Mary's offer - but like hell would she ever make herself look that weak in front of an audience! Misako's body might have hurt, but her pride would've hurt more if she needed any help. And all her body needed was ice and some rest. Healing her pride wouldn't be so easy.

"Lucky bitch..." Misako grumbled to herself on the way out. Seeing the difficulty she was having getting around, some of the security, ring crew, and medical staff extended hands to her, but she just pushed them aside with a middle finger in their direction for good measure. The only aid she would accept was from her fellow Heartbreakers - and she knew that it wouldn't be long before they gave Mary a piece of their mind.
