Sweet Stuff: Selene Sugar vs Gil "Arma-Gil-O"

In the end, Selene proved to be too much for Gil, even if she fared comparatively better than her predecessors. The latter's unconscious form sprawled out across the canvas was very much a testament to the former's absolute triumph. And to further cement her victory, Selene rolled Gil onto her back and sat atop her stomach for a pin. And for some extra flair, Selene flexed a bicep for the crowds. Seeing this, the referee dropped down and started the count but everyone knew that it was a forgone conclusion at that point.
"One!.."
"Two!.."

Should the ref slap the mat for that conclusive third time, the bronzette would invariably celebrate her victory. Pumping her fist, she stood up and approached a corner. After she hopped onto the second turnbuckle, she adopted the zeus pose and basked in the cheerful reaction of the audience for a good prolonged moment. Once she's indulged herself enough, she would return by the brunette's side and start nudging her cheek. When she stirred awake, she would be greeted by a hand offering to help her up.
"No hard feelings aye?" Selene quipped with an affable smirk. "Trust me, you actually did well. I'm just that awesome."

Laying beaten and unconscious, the victor couldn't be clearer. Gil laid stomach down, her cheek pressed against the canvas, the blood from her nose dripping onto the mat. Selene would flip her, and take her seat on her belly, flexing over her beaten foe! Beating three time across the mat, the ref counted to three and the bell rang out, Selene won, duh, in more than impressive time as well...!

Eventually, Gil would come to, her vison blared, her hearing muffled, she took a second or two to fully re-awaken. She sat up, rubbing more blood from her nose. What an embarrassing match, she was knocked out for longer than it lasted, she knew there was something to take away from this though, there just had to be...! Her gaze turned to Selene, who offered her a hand, which she took, getting up to her feet, able to support herself on her own.

"...No hard feelings, that was the agreement...!" Gil immediately perked up, giggling! "...I can't deny how great you were, I'm sure you'll kick even more butt going forward...!" Gil cheered on Selene, not holding any bitterness against her, after all, the match was done, and being bitter wouldn't solve a single thing, and it's not like Selene was cruel or particularly mean, she just did what she had to to win, and maybe that was the takeaway... Gil couldn't win every match, that much was clear... But pushing herself to her limits, and going all out would get her closer and closer, like it did in this match! Even if she wasn't close at all, it earned her respect among her peers! "You know, I'm sure you'd kick some real butt against some notable heavyweights, I can't wait to see it...!" Gil chirped, putting the match behind her in seconds flat.

"Hah, agreed." Selene patted Gil's shoulder after helping her stand up. "I'll look forward to seeing you in action too." Despite what's recently transpired in their bout, the two ended up engaging in a wholesome conversation. "You got that 'decisive spark', like me. I'm sure that you're capable of kicking some serious butt as well." The bronzette paused to chuckle. "Don't get any funny ideas though, I'll still lay you out in a rematch."

Regardess of how the brunette responded, Selene was intent on staying around and celebrating some more. So she nudged her opponent towards the ropes as they spoke, making a subtle gesture to Gil to leave.

"Whatever you say...! I know my capabilities, so I wouldn't be so sure if I was you...!" Gil chuckled. She wasn't afraid to tumble with anyone, even if it left a sore mark on her record, she never wanted to shy away, she wasn't jobber hunting, she was taking on anyone, and everyone she could!

"Enjoy your victory, Selene, I'll see you at the top...!" Gil sent a saluted her way before slipping away, out of the ring. Heading up the ramp she smiled on to the crowd and still gave out high-five to her fans, they were happy to see she wasn't taking this to heart, she was, however, taking it hard to the nose, she needed some tissues, pronto...!

"I plan to." Selene giggled as she replied. She passed her opponent a brief farewell wave before she returned to zeus posing atop a corner, indulging herself in the music that was her theme mixing together with the crowd's cheers and clapping.
