A Double Debut Of Rising Stars! Piper Sherwood vs Nana Yoshida

Piper cracked her neck and bounced from heel to heel backstage waiting for her debut entrance in LAW. It had been a few weeks since she signed with the developmental program and this was to be her first official match against some random girl named nana. ‘Pfft who names their kid after a grandma?’ She thought to herself incredulously before finally her music started playing.

Getting a malicious smile on her face she stepped through the curtains and posed as I may fall from rwby began playing. Striking a classic cheer pose with her arms up and one leg pulled in she looked adorable to the crowd. Smiling she would then take the chance to bask in the cheers of the crowd before providing more reasons for them to cheer as she went right from the pose into a tumble before going into a series of cartwheels as she approached the ring. As she neared it she would stop the acrobatics to be in a standing position. Although she admittedly overestimated her momentum and bumper against the ring making her wince slightly.

Playing it off like it hadnt happened though she smiled brightly at the crowd before hopping up onto the ring apron and jumping up only to come down into a perfect split. Lowering her torso she would slide under the bottom ropes and enter the ring where she would roll forward and pop into a pose again much to the crowds cheers for the impressive, albeit not perfect, entrance by the newbie. Continuing to pose and preen around the ring Piper seemed to have completely forgotten her opponet still had an entrance to do so she would keep going up until her opponets entrance started up making her blink before pouting.

Backstage the youngest of the Yoshida sisters was stretching out in the back with her older sister Tsumi watching over her and was helping her formulate a bit of a plan that Nana could use in this match. Though her sister spoke to Nana, Nana was only partly listening due to the butterflies in her stomach. Unlike her sisters and mother this was Nana’s debut on such a big stage and needless to say, she was nervous. She would slap both of her cheeks to sort of sike herself up for this. She looks at her older sister who was going on a bit of a winning streak, defeating her opponents is mere seconds. Nana hoped she some day would be skilled enough like her older sister. Nana then puts on a kimono like dress over her wrestling miko outfit. A white and red design like her mother would wear down to the ring. Then Nana would put on her kitsune mask on her face. As she did she smiles just happy that she was about to wrestle again.



She rushes out of her locker room to the guerrilla position, today she was facing off against a wrestler who she is apart of the new LAW developmental program. Nana was thinking maybe she should try it but then again she was already trained by the best in Japan. When Piper's theme would stop playing Nana soon nodded waiting for the correct time for her to go through the curtain as her theme started playing. When the song started to pick up Nana exits the guerrilla position and is on the main stage posing for the fans. Nana would then bow to the crowd allowing them to cheer for her before rushing down to the ring. Once close to the ring she would use the steps that were next to ring and soon climbed up to to the top turnbuckle but maintaining balance by having her other foot stay on the second one for now. She removes her kimono like dress revealing her white and red miko attire.

She then looks at Piper and nods to her before looking out to the crowd and removing her kitsune mask. She then climbs up to the top turnbuckle and jumps off of it rolling into what some called the “Superhero pose” with her knee down and and fist on the ground. She looks up and quickly gets up once again waving to the crowd before handing the ref her entrance gear. Nana soon turns to Piper and smiles as she bows to her.

Piper was still posing for the fans doing a mix of sexy and cute poses for the snapshots lost in her own world. That was until the music of her opponet started playing snapping her out of her delusion. Turning Piper watched as all the applause and cheers went to some girl wearing a ugly dog mask and robe! ‘Im way cuter than her why aren’t they cheering for me!?’ She thought jealously while crossing her arms and pouting as Nana climbed over the top turnbuckle taking off the dress and mask before rolling into the ring. ‘Hmph my entrance was better.’ She thought to herself with a pout as she had her arms crossed and promptly turned her nose up when her opponet bowed to her. “Yeah no i dont do that weird girl.” She taunted while waving her hand dismissively to the girl as she spread her legs and held her arms up preparing for the match to begin.

Nana looks at Piper with a big smile on her face but it would soon disappear as Piper would taunt at her. Nana was confused, why was Piper so upset? They didn't know each other but it seemed like Piper already had beef with the young upstart. Nana would shrug it off as she started to stretch out waiting for the bell. That was when the referee would look at the two upstarts, Nana would get into a fighting position then the bell would ring. Nana would circle around Piper trying to size her up and see any openings in her stance. But while she did that Nana starts to clap to get the crowd into it. The crowd would start to clap while Nana had a smile on her face. That was when it was time for the lock up but instead of locking up Nana would duck under it, turning around quickly. Nana giggled and made a hand gesture to tell Piper to slow down. After the crowd would chuckle Nana would go to lock up with Piper again, but instead of locking up would send a sharp kick to the shin of Piper. If the surprise kick worked Nana would then try to bring Piper to her knees with a sharp kick to her stomach. But most importantly once on her knees Nana would charge in wrapping her arm around Piper's head and try slamming her head to the ground with a DDT.

Piper smirked seeing the thrown off look on Nana’s face but frowned once more seeing that Nana seemingly got right back into it. “Tsk.” She said to herself, getting even more annoyed by Nana’s clapping which in turn got the crowd ro clap as well. Dammit why the hell did the crowd like her so much?! Finally the bell rang starting the match. As she moved forward to try and enter a lockup like she was trained too she saw Nana doing the same and smirked thinking she’d be able to easily overpower the girl. However before their hands could meet Nana disappeared from her view. Blinking in shock she turned and saw Nana gesturing at her to slow down making her puff her cheeks out in frustration, already building up as a result of the girl’s actions. Shaking her head and resisting the urge to give her own, much more offensive hand gesture to Nana, Piper went to lock up with her again. However this was for nought as she felt Nana’s foot hit her chin making her cringe in pain. “Gah! Dammit!” She yelled out befoee gasping as her stomach was pounded with a kick courtesy of Nana’s leg. “Guah!!” She moaned out falling to her knees and being vulnerable as the small girl wrapped her arms around her head and dropping her with a ddt making pain blossom through her skull. “Aghhh dammit.. aghh!” She yelled out in pain and frustration as she rolled away holding her head while letting loose a stream of curses.

Nana slammed Piper's head down to the mat with that DDT, it would bring a smile to Nana's lips as she soon stood up over Piper and sends a sharp kick to the lower back of the fellow lightweight. The smack would echo around the arena as Nana soon backs away for a moment allowing Piper to get back up. Giving Piper a bit of breathing room so she just wasn't landing blow after blow, at least not yet anyway. Once Piper was up to her feet Nana would walk back towards Piper and locks up with her. Nana would be quick though and locks Piper's arm into an arm wrench. Sometimes the basics were fun, Nana would drag Piper around the four sides of the ring and would stop just to add more pressure to the hold. Eventually Nana would send another sharp kick to Piper's arm that she has been working on and then a hard slap to the face of the foul mouthed Piper.

Piper was still cussing a storm in between pain grunts as she made her way back up to her feet from thwt ddt, the pain not being somethjng she was accustomed too just yet. As she made it up to her knees however a painful kick connected with her back making her eyee widen in pain! ”Aghhhh!” She yelled out from the sharp pain now burning through her as she was thrown back to the mat, arching her spine and holdimg it while trying to repress the tears forming in her eyes.

Thankfully Nana didn’t do anything in the meantime but Piper didn’t have the sense to think of why. Only that she wanted payback. Getting back up she would glare at the brunette. “Alright you bi- ahhhh hey let go!” Just as she was about to give Nana some choice words her arm was caught by the girl and was being wrenched on! Immediately and instinctively following Nana as she pulled in order to keep her arm from being ripped from its socket, Piper was helpless as she was virtually made into a prop!

But things weren’t over for the former cheerleader just yet. Before she could get free, or rather before Nana decided she was done, Piper recieved another blow to the arm! “Aghhh fuuuuu.” Just as she was loudly lamenting the pain her arm was now in Piper was cut off by a fierce slap to the face that sent her stumbling. “Nghh.. ahhh..” She’d whimper out gingerly holding her face with her good arm while the one that had been torqued and battered by Nana hung limply at her side.
