Amazon vs. Bodybuilder Showdown!

The referee called for the bell as soon as they heard Hana. Upon the bell ringing Alaina immediately let go of the hold and stumbled to the ropes, grabbing on with one hand as she held her other in the Air.

Her back was still aching and she stayed at the ropes a minute, still bent over before she managed to walk upright around the ring, taking in the cheers of the crowd. That left her with Hana, and Alaina walked over to her, holding out a hand to help her up to her feet.

"You are one tough kid you know that?"

Hana felt the fighting spirit leave her body, as she uttered her submission. Despite all her hopes, she came up the lesser woman to Alaina, tonight, and shame burned her cheeks as she slapped the mat pathetically.

Fortunately, Alaina released the hold as soon as the referee accepted Hana's submission. Hana gasped for air as her legs flopped to the mat. Her barely-clothed body trembling as she sobbed, Hana took a moment on the mat to wallow in the misery of defeat, in full view of the fans.

Hana felt empty as the loudspeakers announced the Amazon, Alaina Saunders to be the victor. Hana forced herself to look up at her powerful opponent, who approached her. Hana winced, anticipating what her opponent might have to say. The rookie wasn't expecting a compliment.

“W-what?” she stammered, between sobs. “Uhm … th-thank you …?” Nervously, Hana accepted Alaina's offered hand, unsure of what she could expect. All Hana knew was that she'd failed, she'd been defeated. She had no idea what would come next.

"You have a crazy amount of talent and potential. You just need to be more focused and aggressive in the ring. Also keep at technique and mat skills. I bet before long if you keep at it you will be in the title hunt." Alaina said into Hana's ear before taking a hand and holding it high.

After a moment she let go and nodded to Hana before moving to the ropes and climbing through, hopping to the ground below and starting her walk up the ramp to the locker room.

Hana struggled to control her breathing. Her legs wanted to buckle, but she could always collapse and die when she got backstage. Right now, she wanted to stand tall. At least, as tall as she could after tapping out in her first ever match ...

Still, Alaina was surprisingly nice. Hana couldn't bring herself to say anything to the Amazon's compliments, but she appreciated them. Hana's chest swelled as she took a deep breath, gulping back a sob Alaina took her hand and held it high. For what it was worth, the fans seemed to be cheering on the intense competition of the evening. Hana had that, at least, even if she hadn't been good enough to claim the victory.

Hana ducked beneath the ropes and went backstage with her head hanging low. She had to be better if she wanted respect, she told herself. Maybe she'd shown promise tonight, but she wanted to show more than that. She needed to. And maybe next time, she would. Tonight, however, was Alaina Sanders' night, and the fans were showing her the love, chanting her name as the two women went back to the locker room!
