It took a little bit for her agency to get her an in to the wrestling league known as LAW. The scouts and recruiters were very particular about who they hired in, as though they were looking for a specific group of people. And from what Leona had learned from her research, those people were either cruel criminals, tough but troubled people, or those that had no business to be in the ring in the first place.
The last were usually those that became the league’s punching bags. At least there were some good people here, but every one good face was shadowed by two cruel heels. Leona herself had to spend six months training herself in different wrestling holds and moves for both her audition video that her agents gave the league, and to help herself with her disguise of being just another wrestler.
Now she was just another wrestler about to make her debut. From what she’s heard her opponent was the local brat of the league. One who talks a big game but hardly has any of the skill to back it up. Looks like management was going easy on her today, that was fine as it gave her the chance to play it low. Make too much of a splash and they’ll be wondering where she’d come from, make too little and she’ll be neck deep in heels that smell fresh meat.
