Morgan Frey vs. Karla "Ray" Reinhardt - Ceaseless Struggle

Breaking the pin, Morgan would try to focus on what was happening to her. She could hear Karla arguing with the referee, and she would try to use this moment, however short it was, to recover some of her strength. And then, Karla returned back to her before she was pulled up. She braced herself for what to come next before she was dragged towards the corner. She hissed a little when Karla tugged her by her hair, but she would try to wait for the right moment to strike.

And then, Karla tried to send Morgan face first into the turnbuckle, and she would bring her arms up, looking to at least cushion the collision a little, though it still hurt quite a lot. And when Karla inevitably turned her around, Morgan wouldn't waste her time as she would attempt to throw a jab of her own at Karla's face, right before the other woman could target her jaw with her punch. Hopefully, the strike would stun her opponent, allowing her to recover more of her strength.

Anyone would be forgiven for thinking Morgan was helpless, or maybe that was just her. In fact, she believed nothing but that when her hands commanded Morgan's body to stand, forcing her face to kiss the turnbuckle. The illusion became so surreal, she didn’t notice Morgan’s arms had come alive until reality bit her in a jab, causing her head to swing left, then she stumbled two steps. Normally, shrugging this off with a heap of adrenaline pumping overtime was easy, but anything sucked more when it was by surprise. So Morgan had her window of recovery.

But that wasn’t long, because right after she nursed the spot with her palm, she felt enlivened, smiling at the development. An answer must be given, she decided. I'll show you a real punch...She curled her fingers into a white-knuckle fist, cocked back her arm, and lunged for a left hook. Momentum carried her body in a step forward, throwing anger, excitement, and ill-caution for an all-out strike primed for Morgan’s jaw.

Morgan took this opportunity to recover after hitting Karla with her punch, though unfortunately, it was just a brief respite before Karla went with another punch of her own. As Morgan tried to gather her bearing, she took a punch to her jaw, and it felt like her entire world was shaking. Morgan wasn't, by all means, someone with a glass jaw, but the jab to her jaw was enough to shake her greatly.

Morgan couldn't even scream as she was struck. For the time being, she was shaken beyond belief, and she couldn't put up her guard, which would allow Karla to deliver more hits on her.

She was relieved and disappointed with that fortuitous punch. Deep within, Karla wished they could’ve traded some more and see who’s the bigger pain sponge. But instead, it carved a hole in Morgan’s defences, leaving her open and bare — a delectable meal pitted on a dazed platter. For a moment, she nursed her jaw one last time with her palm, shuffling back then raising her fists, furrowing her eyes and sliding one foot back. Entering a boxer’s stance, Karla started picturing her opponent as a heavy bag, so she took a deep breath, then treated her as such.

She sent a right jab towards Morgan’s nose, swift and deliberate, then she tucked and followed up with a left cross right for Morgan’s gut. If success found the first two strikes, she’d pivot counterclockwise so her back faced Morgan, shooting her forearm to bash Morgan’s jaw in a European Uppercut or 〝Karla-Cut.〞

And the grand finale to her combo was nigh, just as Karla took off in a spring around the outskirts of the ring. She slapped the first turnbuckle then went to the second — diangular from Morgan. Changing her course in a turn, she grabbed the top rope, placed her foot on the middle turnbuckle then shot herself forward. If Morgan didn’t recover now, her gut would face the full thrust of Karla’s collar at blitzing speed.

With her unable to guard herself, Morgan was then struck by Karla's attacks, first taking the punch at her nose before she received another right into her gut. This left her disoriented beyond belief, and Karla took her opportunity to land her third strike, which was an European uppercut right at her jaw, leaving Morgan completely reeling.

"GOUGHHH!!!"

And then, while she was still wobbly on her feet, Morgan couldn't see what Karla was about to do next. And this left her totally open for her opponent's next attack as Karla shot herself towards her, knocking her off her feet. "OOOPGHH!!!" Morgan fell down onto the mat, showing a pained look on her face. She couldn't breathe. She was now totally helpless before Karla!

After blitzing her opponent in three consecutive strikes, followed by a move, Karla’s immediate adrenaline started to wear. She bore a sweat on her forehead, her shoulder ached from the bash, as did other parts of her body from earlier in the match. Intensity always brought a backlash, but it was nothing she couldn’t handle. But she did take a moment to recuperate, rolling her shoulder with a hand gripping it, wincing briefly as she walked towards Morgan’s head.

“Poor hundchen. It's about time you gave up, don't you agree?”

Not that her answer mattered, resigning to the fact her opponent didn’t wish to speak. That was fine by her, but it did make things a little less fun. But that didn’t matter as much as winning, which Karla wanted to do right here and now. Bending over, she gripped Morgan's hair once again, intending to bring her to a stance once again. Then she’d envelop Morgan’s neck from the front, driving a swift knee into her back to force an arch. And to add the last bit of showboating before she went for her finisher, she blew a kiss to the crowd, turning it into a middle finger. Finally came the drop, preceded by a jump to add velocity in their side by side backwards fall, except it would be the top of Morgan’s head spiking the mat for a move she dubbed - “Blackout!”

Morgan was on the mat, trying her best to breathe after taking all those blows from Karla. And then, Karla went to pick her up, grabbing her by her hair, forcing her to get back up on her feet. Morgan groaned as she was brought up before Karla wrapped her arm around her neck and pressed her knee against her back. "Erghhh..."

And then, Karla went for her finisher, and Morgan couldn't even let out a scream as her head was spiked into the mat. The sheer impact was too much for the petite wrestler. Her body seized up as her head hit the canvas. After that, she went limp, her eyes rolling up into her head and her tongue lolled out slightly from her open mouth. At this point, Morgan was done, and Karla would be free to seize her victory.

Falling alongside Morgan, she sprung up into a seated position beside her incapacitated opponent. Glancing at their limp state, she delved a hand through her hair and straddled her waist by throwing a leg over. Urgency didn’t seem required, so she stayed there on Morgan’s waist with hands on her hips, looking out to the crowd and the referee who waited to count the inevitable pin. A corner smirk developed, soaking in that nearly comical expression. But without further delay, she reached back, hooking Morgan’s knee and tucking it up against her hip. Leaning forward, she thrust her hand by Morgan’s head, hovering over her face as the referee joined the pair and counted.

Two…
Three!

DING DING DING! - Like that, the match had played its tune in Karla’s favour, allowing the referee to raise her free arm, pointing to her person as she stood up above her defeated adversary. Basking in the moment, the crowd’s reaction, the sight of Morgan, like reliving her first boxing victory... Except, she felt that way every time - pure exhilaration, knee-deep in a lopsided grin like she could float.
Arms folded behind her back, she leaned over one more time.

“Good game, Hundchen. Let’s do it again sometime.”
And with that, she skipped over to the ropes and travelled to ringside. A parting wave was given, blowing a kiss to the ring before she was gone.
