After careful consideration and discussion with Claire, Yukina Suzuki managed to find a match that she felt suited Claire. Rather than throw her wrestler into some random match, Yukina took the time to get to know Claire and get a sense of what sort of match would be a good fit for her. While Claire was open to nearly anything (except for POW and matches where she would have to be cruel to people), Yukina ultimately decided on a softcore-type match---that sort of a match would probably cater to Claire's playful personality.
This match was the first match that Claire was officially scheduled for---technically, however, this was not Claire's first match. After Katsumi Oshiro's opponent, Lacey Stardust, failed to show up, Claire had volunteered to take her place. During that event, Claire had put on quite a show. Yukina was not in on this, however.
After Claire put on her show, Yukina received a call from her manager friend congratulating her on her "clever idea". This happened in the evening just as Yukina was arriving at her home after a long day at her other job. Yukina was quite surprised at both Claire's actions and the fact that LAW allowed Claire to participate in that match. As Claire walked down the ramp, she was met with cheers. Despite this being her first scheduled match, the fans already knew who she was from her unexpected match with Katsumi Oshiro. After Claire had put on quite a show at that match, the fans were eager to see Claire again. Claire's appearance

During her descent, Claire noticed something odd appearing on the gigantic screens in the arena. On those screens was the name "Clayer Tomas"---it turned out that an intern had figured that it would be funny to change "Claire Thomas" to "Clayer Tomas".
"What the? Who messed up my name?" said Claire. Claire gave a slight laugh as she shook her head, amused at the strange occurrence.
"At least they got my entrance music right," thought Claire. Claire entered the ring with ease and waited in the corner of the ring. After a short while, Claire began discreetly playing with the ring ropes, observing their texture, tension, and weight. While Claire had been in the boxing ring at her old gym, the ropes here were different.
"I guess wrestling ring ropes are different than boxing ring ropes," Claire thought as she gave the ring ropes a slight shake.

The crowd waited for a moment as they expected Miyabi to make her entrance. However, no one came out, leaving an awkward silence in the air. This silence quickly turned to murmurs as the LAW staff scrambled to find Miyabi.

Meanwhile, backstage, the sound of a zipper being unzipped went completely unnoticed due to the commotion caused by people frantically searching for Miyabi. A few moments later, a little head popped out of Claire's duffel bag. The head inquisitively looked around at the surroundings. After looking around for a bit, the head made a noise:
"Meow!" The kitten's appearance
Suddenly, a kitten leapt out of the duffel bag! The kitten had been Niko, a Siamese kitten owned by Ayame Aoi, the roommate of Claire Thomas. Before then, Niko had always wondered what both Ayame and Claire did during their time away from their apartment, but never got an opportunity to follow them. Eventually, Niko noticed that Claire would occasionally take her duffel bag with her when she left and would always return with that same duffel bag.
"[Chance!]" though Niko. Of course, the kitten did not think using human language. However, it was clear to Niko that hiding in Claire's duffel bag would allow him to discreetly follow Claire---furthermore, Claire always returned with that duffel bag so Niko figured that Claire would not abandon the bag. Thus, prior to Claire leaving for her match, Niko hid in Claire's duffel bag.
Now, Niko found himself in an unfamiliar area. Niko then began to explore the backstage area, making sure not to be seen by any wrestlers or staff members. Eventually, Niko found his way out from backstage.

"I wonder if this is a curse..." thought Claire with an amused look on her face. She thought back to her first match where Katsumi Oshiro's opponent, Lacey Stardust, had failed to show up, resulting in Claire substituting in for Lacey. And now, Claire was once again in a situation where someone failed to show up.
"Perhaps someone will substitute in for Miyabi," thought Claire. Suddenly, the announcer began speaking.
"What is this?! A kitten has made its way onto the ramp and is now heading towards the ring!"
Suddenly, all of the cameras turn towards the kitten and project images of the kitten onto the screens for the audience to see. Confused murmurs began permeating the air as the audience tried to figure out if this was planned or not.
"Niko!" yelled Claire. Claire instantly recognized Niko but was extremely confused as to why he was there. Then, Claire figured it out: Niko had hidden in her duffel bag.
Seeing a familiar face, Claire, standing in the ring, Niko began to run towards the ring. Halfway down the ramp, the following music began to play: Niko's "entrance music"
One of the staff members had the quick idea to put that song on as the kittens "entrance music". Upon hearing the music, Niko's ears pricked up as he paused for a moment. Then, Niko continued down the ramp. Once Niko reached the edge of the ring, he deftly jumped into the ring, landing in the corner opposite to Claire.
"Hi Niko," said Claire. "What are you doing here?"
Suddenly, the announcer spoke up.
"Due to Miyabi Mey failing to show up, we must make some last minute modifications to tonight's competitors." The crowd began to murmur, not sure of what the announcer meant. "Instead of Miyabi Mey, Claire Thomas will now be facing Mittens the cat instead!"
"It's Niko-kun!" yelled Claire. Then, a realization came upon Claire. "Wait, I can't face him in a reverse-hentai match! That'd be bestiality!"
"Oh. Right," said the announcer upon hearing Claire. Disgusted faces could be seen on many of the crowd members since the vast majority of people in that crowd were not into bestiality. Some of the audience members even began to wonder if LAW management had gone off the deep end.
A moment later, the LAW management quickly commanded the announcer to explicitly announce that the match type was being changed to a standard match. It turns out that the LAW management was not into bestiality---instead, the people in LAW management had simply just forgotten to change the match type.
"Of course, this will be a standard match, not a hentai match. Sorry to all you bestiality fans out there," said the announcer. The little joke about bestiality that the announcer added at the end did not go over well with management, and the announcer was reprimanded for it later---the official wording was "LAW announcers should not allude to such unsavory acts, nor should they joke about them."
After the announcer made that important clarification, Claire breathed a sigh of relief: she was not going to have to pleasure herself using an animal in front of an audience. Sorry to all you bestiality fans out there.

Meanwhile, the referee began "briefing" Niko on the rules of standard matches. Niko knew that the woman was trying to talk to him but was unable to understand what she was saying. Quickly giving up on trying to understand, Niko began playing with the referee's shoelaces as the referee stoically continued explaining the rules to Niko. Once the referee was done with her explanation, she began to walk away.
BAM!
The referee fell flat on her face---Niko had tied her shoelaces together. Groaning in pain and embarrassment, the referee slowly got up and fixed her shoelaces. Afterwards, the referee signaled for the match to start.

After the bell rang, Claire calmly walked forward towards Niko; Niko, on the other hand, excitedly trotted towards Claire. The two met in the center of the ring and Claire knelt down.
"Niko-kun, did you sneak into my bag?" said Claire affectionately as she petted Niko's head. "Wanna play?"
Claire then started to offer up her hand for Niko to pounce on. However, Claire then remembered Ayame telling her not to encourage Niko to pounce on hands or feet. Instead, Claire should use cat toys to play with Niko.
Turning to the referee, Claire asked "Hey, do you have any toys?" Immediately, the referee raised one of her eyebrows.
"This is a standard match. You are not allowed to use toys."
"I meant cat toys. Not those kinds of---alright, nevermind," said Claire. Since this was LAW, "toys" usually meant "sex toys", a fact that was not lost on Claire. Obviously, Claire did not mean it that way. With a sigh, Claire once again turned her attention to Niko.
Once again, Claire began offering up her hand to Niko. Before she could do so, however, Claire had an idea. Without removing her shirt, Claire slipped her bra straps off of her shoulders and removed her arms. Then, Claire reached underneath her shirt and unclasped her bra. After doing so, Claire then removed her bra. Much to the disappointment of the crowd, Claire managed to preserve her modesty all throughout this.
"Okay, let's play!" said Claire to Niko as she dangled her bra in front of Niko like a piece of string. Niko immediately grabbed at Claire's bra as if it were his prey. Afterwards, Claire continued playing with Niko for several minutes.
As Claire played with Niko, she wondered how she would end this match. Of course, hurting Niko was out of the question---after all, HETA (Humans for the Ethical Treatment of Animals) would throw a fit. That and Claire was not an animal abuser. And that Ayame would kill her if she hurt Niko.
As Claire thought of ways that she could win the match without hurting Niko, Niko suddenly decided to do something strange. He jumped up into the air (see reference image below), attempting to lightly headbutt Claire! For some reason, Claire found this hilarious. Reference
Then, Niko did it again. This time, after landing, Niko cocked his head sideways and gave Claire a confused look. Niko was confused about why Claire seemed so amused. At this point, Claire was struggling to hold back laugher.
"OH YEAH! PLAY WITH THAT PUSSY!" yelled a lone fan in the crowd.
This caused Claire, along with most of the crowd, to lose it and burst out laughing. Her composure completely broken, Claire could hardly breathe as she laughed hysterically. Eventually, Claire rolled onto her back, eyes shut and filled with tears of laughter.
"ONE! TWO! THREE!"
Suddenly, the bell rang to signify the end of the match, causing the crowd to grow mostly silent. Confused, Claire slowly opened her eyes to see Niko standing on her chest. Then, Claire turned her head and saw the referee right next to her.
"Oh..." said Claire as she realized that she had lost. Not only that, she had lost to Niko-kun, a literal kitten. Claire sighed and then began to affectionately pet Niko. "Good job, Niko-kun!"
With that, Claire grabbed her bra and scooped Niko into her arms. Afterwards, Claire exited the ring and made her way backstage. However, despite losing to a kitten, Claire still had a smile on her face. While the match had not gone as expected, she still had fun. And secretly, a part of Claire was actually relieved that she did not have to expose herself to the crowd.

After the match, Niko began showing an affinity for bras. After Niko kept getting into Ayame's underwear drawer, Ayame gave Claire a stern (but not mean) talking-to about not training Niko to do weird stuff. Claire apologized and then proceeded to tease Ayame.
"Aw, so you do have a soft side!" teased Claire. "Maybe, one day, you'll make a good parent!"
Ayame flushed bright red and simply said "Whatever. Just don't do it again," before exiting the room. Over the next few days, Ayame had to train Niko not to raid her underwear drawer or play with bras. Thankfully, Niko was extremely trainable and empathetic, easily picking up on Ayame's exasperation, so he quickly dropped that habit.
