Battle for Pride: Lauren vs Gold Liger

Liger slams Lauren back down to the mat again, feeling empowered by being able to handle Lauren punishment and come back stronger. Seeing Lauren groaning on the mat the rush of knowing that she did that feels great, Liger smirks reaching down pulling Lauren up by her hair "One more for old times sake Lauren next time you know better then to challenge me." scooping Lauren up again and slams her down a third time this one with extra force for good measure.

Laying on top of her prone opponent and lifting her chubby leg up in the air for the pinfall.

Lauren was slammed hard a second time and then a third as her own favorite series of slams she called The Three Slammigos was used against her! She howled in pain as her body trembled from the impacts each one hurting her more than the last! The hapless Lauren was laid out and her free leg weakly kicking the mat as she squirmed underneath Gold Liger trying to buck her way free.

Lauren's weak kicks were more for token resistance and all they did was succeed in making her soft mass shake with each kick.

"ONE!"

"TWO!"

"THREE!"

The bell rang and Lauren brought her arms up to cover her red, embarrassed face as she laid on the mat flat on her back after the bell rang.

Liger after the three count gets off of her opponent smiling and makes it to her feet for the ref to raise her hand in victory. Going to the corner and raising her hand up for the crowd to see, getting down from the ropes Liger sees Lauren still prone on the mat and everything she said about her opponent brings a frown to her face.

Marching over to Lauren and bends over offering her hand to the other woman, "... I am deeply sorry for what I said about you. I want to win... but not like that please forgive me cause that is not how I am." Liger says. her hand still out for Lauren to grab

Lauren kicked the mat as her soft mass shook before she looked up and saw Gold Liger standing over her. Lauren was silent for a second, disappointed in herself for hammering her rookie foe only to lose at the end. She took Gold Ligers hand and gave her a quick nod. She wasn't in the mood to talk but she did want to try to let Gold Liger know that she understood. "Its fine. I just didn't do what I had to do and crumpled like paper when I got slammed. Again. It is what it is." Lauren said as she gave Gold Liger a quick pat on the back before hobbling over to the ropes, climbing through and dropping to the ground below to walk towards the backstage area.

Lauren was wondering if she would ever be anything more than an undercard attraction watching women start off and zoom past her on the roster. She rubbed her back and disappeared backstage. She and Peggy needed to either get better or risk not having their contracts renewed.
