It was a picture perfect moment, with Misako down on her back in the very center of the ring and Chigusa on top of her. The delinquent looked back and forth nervously, held down by the weight of the purple-haired girl coming down from above, but too weary to move her body and with the ropes too far for her to make an escape. And soon enough, Chigusa rolled up to hook her leg, pulling Misako into a pin. Her heart was beating faster in her chest, as she realized that she had nowhere to go.

In most situations like this, Misako would have counted on her stablemates to bail her out of trouble - and it was then that she realized all too late that she had been so confident and self-assured in the inevitability of her success that she hadn't told them to get involved! Misako had put all of her hopes on winning this match, and now, the fact she had underestimated her opponent was becoming all too clear. There was no one to help her now.

"TWO!! THREE!!!"

With the second and third slaps of the ref's hand hitting the mat, the bell sounded through the arena. Chigusa had scored the pinfall, and the Heartbreakers had suffered a loss!

Covering her opponent's body with her own, Chigusa went for the pin, hooking Misako's leg with her arm as she listened to the referee counting for the cover. She wasn't sure if she could get a win out of this, but she wanted to see if this was enough to bring an end to the match. It looked like the referee would continue the counts unhindered, and soon, she reached the third count, bringing an end to this match with Chigusa's victory. The bell was immediately sounded, and the crowd cheered as the former Wrestle Angel emerged victorious over her opponent.

"Phew..." Chigusa let out a sigh of relief as she picked herself off of Misako, brushing aside a few strands of her hair off her forehead before she stood triumphantly over her opponent as the referee held her arm up, declaring her the victor. The crowd cheered, and the purple-haired beauty beamed cheerfully as she then proceeded to celebrate her victory, climbing one of the turnbuckles and raising her arms in triumph, getting the crowd to pop some more. Tonight, another win was added under her belt, bringing more prestige to the name of Chigusa Yuuki.

After she was done with her brief celebration, Chigusa looked at her downed opponent, considering on what to do. At first, she thought about helping her up and show a little bit of sportsmanship, but then, she decided against it. She would give Misako a polite bow before making her way out of the ring, heading to backstage, basking in the aftermath of her victory. She decided to keep up with her momentum, wanting to show that the Valkyrie Chigusa would be here to impress.

Fear was not an emotion Misako commonly felt. She was brash, bold, and headstrong, not one to be moved by many things. And yet now, as she realized how unprepared she was against an opponent she had underestimated, she could feel her heart hammering against the walls of her chest. She could have done this a lot better, but she had let her cockiness get the better of her. And now, as she was struggling to so much as rise from the mat, she was about to pay for it.

The third count came, punctuated by the match-ending sound of the bell as Chigusa was proclaimed the winner. Misako remained pressed flat against the ground, her bare stomach rising and falling with labored breaths. As soon as she caught up with what was happening around her, her teeth clenched in an angry glare. She had no right to be taken out that easily. That victory was rightfully hers! And, perhaps, if she hadn't gotten so cocky, maybe things would go differently. Yes, that was it, Misako told herself. That's what she would believe. It wasn't a fair victory at all; if she had been more ready to face an opponent of Chigusa's caliber, she would surely have won! That was her story, and she was sticking to it. At the least, it made her face soften a bit to think about things that way.

Misako propped herself up on her elbows, watching as Chigusa paraded triumphantly around the ring. She rolled her eyes with a grumble, thinking her a show-off. Even when Chigusa bowed to her - a gesture Misako would never have done herself - she looked off, muttering to herself under her breath. "Hmph...anyone else, I'd have wiped the floor with you. Don't think this means anything."

After Chigusa had left the stage, Misako slipped out under the ropes, dusting herself off as she came to her feet and proceeded back to the locker rooms. Perhaps it had been one victory made against the Heartbreakers, but she would let no one believe they were done just yet.
