History: Growing up, Alex was a normal little boy. His mother had remarried when Alex was five. Though there were times his stepdad did act fatherly, he was an alcoholic. His addiction, coupled with a rough upbringing, lead to quite a bit of abuse towards Alex. He started to get to the point where he feared for his life if left alone with his stepdad. That fear also lead him to never tell his mother about the abuse. By the time Alex was ten, his mother divorced his stepdad, though Alex had kept the abuse a secret. At about the age of twelve, he allowed one of his female friends to dress him up in her clothes, as well as put makeup on him. Something about it just felt right. Lexi now had her beginnings. As time went on, Alex's mom married yet again. His parents had no idea about his personal struggles. He started off slowly, but as things progressed, Alex found himself spending as much time as Lexi as possible. He'd borrow his mother's clothes if he were alone, or from female friends comfortable enough to indulge him.

It was at the age of fifteen that Alex had enough. In full Lexi mode, he came out to his parents. His mother was angry, confused, upset, worried, a cavalcade of emotions. His stepfather was silent. A few days afterwards, Alex found his stepfather enter his room. At first, there was a discussion. But as the talk wore on, Alex's stepfather started getting a bit too touchy for his liking. He then dropped all pretense and attempted to molest Alex. Alex kicked him out of his room and threatened to call the police. His stepfather shrugged it off, remarking that no one would believe him. Alex, looking to learn from the mistakes of his past, told his mother of the encounter. As his stepfather said, she didn't believe him. Not only did she not believe him, she berated Alex for his "terrible lies" and even slapped him across the face. She immediately tried to apologize, but Alex went bolting out of the house. One of his friend's parents agreed to take him in.

There seemed to be a legal battle ensuing, but Alex quickly applied for emancipation. The court ruled he couldn't be granted such until sixteen. They did, however, decide that his current living condition was a better one for all parties involved than if he were to return home. As a celebration of his coming freedom, his temporary family bought him a few new outfits as a surprise. When they were revealed, Alex cried his eyes out. But for the first time in a long time, they were tears of absolute joy. Alex evolved. Lexi was here to stay.

Lexi finished out high school as herself. There were comments made, some rude, some nasty, but her support system helped her through. She got a part-time job as a waitress. She started seeing a therapist and taking steps in truly transitioning. She secured a partial scholarship at Rutgers, where she started on a psychology degree. Things went very well for the next few years. Though she was very close to getting her Bachelors degree, Lexi needed a break. She was burnt out, which she knew was causing her grades and job to suffer. The best solution, Lexi felt, was to take a semester or two off. It was about a month after beginning her sabbatical when she went out to have a few drinks with old friends. She was responsible with her drinking, but that didn't help her with what happened next. Lexi wanted to stop at a diner for a cup of coffee and light meal. She took a turn down an alley before freezing in her tracks. She had come across a few rather shady looking fellows. Lexi figured the best way to handle things would be to walk on past, minding her own business. But as she attempted to do so, one of the men stepped in front of her. The two started making lewd comments, offering money for sex, as well as taking quick gropes of her thighs and butt. She pleaded with them to stop, a plea that fell on deaf ears. But, just as things started to look their bleakest, someone else walked into the alley...

Personality: Lexi is generally a positive and upbeat person. She does her best to see the good in everyone, though that has come back to bite her before. She's the type that would rather talk a problem out as opposed to resorting to violence. Lexi is outgoing, willing to talk to and give anyone a chance. Because of all this, she's a perfect compliment to Vora. She's Vora's voice and conscience, as much an emotional protecter for her as Vora is a physical one for Lexi. She does come with some emotional baggage; she's easy to upset and can be rather sensitive. She has some severe image issues that she's still working through. She's selfless to a fault, something people can and have taken advantage of. Lexi's outwardly kind nature obscures the fact that she's very guarded. She may answer how her day was, but it's entirely possible her answer isn't truthful. Overall, most people would say they're happy to have someone like Lexi in their lives. Lexi is bisexual, though she's found herself to typically prefer men.
