Sophia is a rather laid-back person, having gone through much of her life under a strict army discipline, she wants to stretch her legs a bit and live life as much as she can. That being said, one thing she is very serious about is her daughters, who she believes to have failed them as her military career drew her away from home for large periods of time and eventually meant they had to take care of themselves after their father passed away. Now Sophia is determined to fix all of that and it shows in the way she acts whenever her daughters are mentioned as she beams with pride at their achievements and is ready to support them in whatever endeavour they decide to undertake.

Past
Sophia grew up in a struggling household, her mother was the only provider for the family as shortly after Sophia’s brother was born, their father disappeared, to years later be found dead from a heroin overdose. His addiction was something her mother knew about but didn’t want to say to her children and when he was found dead that was when they found out. Sufficed to say they were both angry, not at their mom though or really at their father who was basically a stranger to them but at the drug that in their eyes took from their mother a man she genuinely loved, even after all she was put through.
Still, they were both children at the time and did not fully understand what was going on and at least for a time, they would be made to forget all that as their school lives began. Sophia wasn’t a particularly good student, not a slouch but simply not one of the gifted ones though that did not hold true for her athleticism. She enjoyed physical activity and would jump at any opportunity to try something new. Soon enough she would find her first love in sport - freestyle wrestling. She would train and compete, first representing her school and soon after making her personal appearances in junior leagues where she would make quite an impression.
Her second passion for sport would come about when she was in high school and that was boxing. Once more she would pick up the sport with ease and quickly start competing to a surprising success. At first, that would be the path she would pursue.
During her amateur boxing carer, she would meet a young medical student that was beginning his practice assisting a sports physician. Without a doubt, she would be able to tell you many stories about him but it would be enough to say that they fell for each other. With time they would create a family but Sophia’s breaks from fighting due to her pregnancy meant that her chances of becoming a pro were growing slimmer and slimmer while the needs of her family only grew. Not wanting her children to grow up in poverty as she did, she abandoned her boxing career and instead despite her husband’s protests, joined the military shortly after the birth of their youngest daughter.
She would have a successful career, her first few deployments ending up in field promotions that rocketed her through the ranks eventually making her a high ranking officer. The years she spent on missions were however also ones she would spend away from her family and she tried to manoeuvre herself through the ranks to make it as possible as it could possibly be to see them more often. Those attempts eventually ended up in a permanent assignment to a us army base in Japan where her family moved.
There was however one issue, Her husband fell seriously ill, and despite their best efforts, doctors form neither side of the ocean would be able to help, which led up to him passing not long after they moved. Sophia’s contract with the military was however not over and she couldn’t take care of her children in that time as much as she would want, making them have to largely take care of themselves in the final years of their education while she worked to provide for them.
Now she has recently retired from service and wants to make up for a lost time as she she helps her youngest train as she makes her way through the ranks of LAW.
