Personality
Yukina is a kind, mild-mannered woman who tries to work in the best interests of those she manages. However, despite being mild-mannered, Yukina can and will stand firm when needed. Yukina has an intrinsic drive to excel at whatever she does, her manager position being no exception.
Past/History
Note
In this section, Yukina's adoptive family will be referred to without adding the "adoptive" qualification. For example, instead of saying "adoptive mother", this section will just say "mother".
Yukina is not Japanese by blood---she is actually Chinese. However, she was adopted as an infant by Japanese parents. Her new family already had four other children, three boys and one girl, and Yukina was the youngest out of all of her (adoptive) siblings. The next youngest sibling was one of her older brothers who was five years older than Yukina.

Growing up, Yukina was treated well: all of Yukina's needs were met and she was given ample freedom to explore whatever interests she had. Since her father was a doctor and her mother was a criminal prosecutor, they were often busy. Despite that, Yukina's parents still found time to take care of their children, and their parenting style was neither too strict nor too lax.
Yukina's family and other information
Yukina had four (adoptive) siblings, three brothers and one sister. The oldest was one of her brothers and the second-oldest was her sister. Her oldest brother became a patent lawyer, her sister became a criminal prosecutor, her second-oldest brother became a doctor, and her youngest brother became a general practice lawyer who specializes in contract law.

After Yukina's (adoptive) mother contracted ovarian cancer, rendering her infertile, Yukina's parents were unable to conceive any more children. After getting ovarian cancer, Yukina's mother eventually overcame it and has been in complete remission ever since. Yukina's second-oldest brother became a doctor, partially being influenced to do so because of the fact that Yukina's father was a doctor and having the experience of seeing his mother suffer from cancer.

Upon Yukina's mother becoming infertile, Yukina's parents decided to adopt a child from China. After a four-year process (which is slightly quicker than usual), Yukina was adopted and brought to her new home.
While her siblings all knew what they wanted to do from a relatively early age, Yukina was not as decisive. She was not naturally drawn to medicine or law, instead showing more of an interest in music and engineering. Despite having those interests, Yukina was still unsure about what to do. Yukina considered the possibility of either going to music school or going into engineering.

In the end, after high school, Yukina decided to enter into an engineering program as "undecided". After five years, she finished with an engineering degree with minors in music, literature, and computer science. Still being unsure about what to do with her life, she decided to take a three-month temporary web development position at LAW as an independent contractor to hold her over for the meantime. During that three-month position, Yukina looked at various graduate programs and jobs. Moreover, Yukina made friends with a manager at LAW.

Towards the end of her contract with LAW, Yukina found a job as a researcher at a research institute affiliated with a major university in Japan. Unfortunately, the pay was not great as it was only a part-time position. However, Yukina really wanted that position and did not want to let the opportunity go by.

It just so happened that around that time, a certain manager (not the one that Yukina was friends with) had gotten fired for sexual harassment. Since that manager managed a lot of wrestlers, LAW had to scramble to find those wrestlers new managers. Furthermore, it turned out that said manager was in the process of bringing on a new wrestler, Ayame Aoi.

On a whim, Yukina's manager friend offered to put in a good word with her boss to get Yukina hired as a part-time manager. Moreover, she (the manager friend) offered to train Yukina. Since Yukina was looking for a second part-time job and her position as a researcher would have flexible hours, Yukina decided to accept under the condition that her manager friend would take on her wrestlers should Yukina decide to quit.

Soon afterwards, Yukina got another wrestler to manage, Claire Thomas.

Fun Facts
  • She is quite skilled at playing violin and piano (she started playing piano when she was two and violin when she was three)
