Alizeh panted in exhaustion, her limbs were heavy, as if molten lead coursed through them rather than blood, likewise her head was pounding in pain while she tasted blood. All she had realistically was her vision, just enough to look at Mindy as the woman leaned forward and kissed her. Despite it all, all the hatred and violence and humiliated that twisted and tainted the interaction between the green haired girl and Mindy.. Alizeh had to admit the kiss was nice. It was sloppy and wet, and actually somewhat intimate in spite of the context surrounding it.

It wouldn't be long however before Mindy pulled away a red tinted trail of saliva connecting their mouths for a moment before breaking apart leaving the two to stare one another down as Mindy made one last promise about how she'd always remember this, remember her. 'Is this it?' Alizeh thought to herself, the world seeming to go into slow motion while Mindy took a step back, Alizeh's hands tightening into fists as she did so.

"No..." Alizeh hissed so softly it was barely a whisper. This was NOT how this ended, this was NOT how she was beaten, and Mindy was NOT the person to do it! Glaring at Mindy with reignited fighting spirit Alizeh would push off the ropes to the side, dodging Mindy's fist at the last possible second! if she managed to do so however Alizeh would grab the woman's wrist as she stumbled backwards, dragging Mindy with her before Alizeh lifted her leg up, placing her heel on Mindy's face.

"Remember this." Alizeh shot out as she then dropped back to hit the first part of her finishing move! If it had connected successfully than Alizeh would move to turn and push up into a kneeling position, putting her weight on Mindy's arm before grabbing her foe's leg and pulling it up over her shoulders as far as she could to try and lock in her finishing the Emerald Twilight!

Mindy was lined up and took her shot, aiming for Alizeh's head one last time with a punch that would knock out anyone in her position. Her efforts only ended in surprise when instead of the force connecting with Alizeh, she instead whiffed her when Alizeh managed to duck low surprising everyone who was watching who knew that Alizeh looked finished. Mindy didn't get to ask how she did it, her arm was grabbed and Alizeh wasted no time using the moment from her falling once the ropes no longer held her to bring Mindy down with her...and into her stretched out boot.

"Ggghh!" Mindy groaned. Falling to her knees while she spat out blood from the kick, she must've cut something in her mouth from getting hit like that. Another thing that should've been cause for concern but she had no time to process before something else happened, Alizeh rolled her to the mat and pinned her arm down with her leg before grabbing her own and lifting it up. "N-nnoooNnaaaooohh!" Mindy screamed as Alizeh slowly lifted herself up and forced the leg over her head stretching Mindy out when she barely had any strength left to resist. Her back was stretched out while her leg and arm were bent as Mindy screamed louder from the intensifying pain of being trapped and seeing her chances of victory slip away.

This was it! The home stretch! Alizeh had Mindy locked in her submission finisher, a hold that had yet to fail her thus far. Unlike before when the Thunderbird Splash missed this had hit in all its effectiveness and now Alizeh just had to keep up the pressure! "Grahhhhhhh tap out you bitch!" Alizeh roared out viciously, knowing that if Mindy somehow slipped free than it would be game over for herself. Hell Mindy may not even need to do anything, Alizeh may just pass out on her own accord from exhaustion. But that was a forgone conclusion in Alizeh's mind.

Because right now, the only thing she cared about was making. mindy. tap. out. "Tap! Out! Now!" Alizeh roared, and with each word she'd lift Mindy's leg off her neck, only to brutally slam the woman's knee into the mat to cause extra spikes of pain before pulling it back over her neck and leaning back, as far as she could while still keeping her balance, pulling Mindy's body up off the mat inch by inch till it was just the woman's torso still pressed against the floor, the Midnights beaten and exhausted body stretched out to its limit from her leg, to her hips and even her battered stomach on full display for all to see as Alizeh applied her most danerous hold to its absolute limit to end this once and for all!

The unbearable pain that a submission hold brought to a battered body was a feeling that you could never describe to anyone, it was living hell to torture a body that had been through the trials of an intense wrestling match. The only reason Mindy didn't tap out immediately under the pressure of her limbs being stretched behind reason and her back being pushed to it's limit was that the prize for Apex was just too sweet. She tried kicking with her free foot but she had almost no power in her legs anymore and she was too tired to aim. Her only other hope was her hand and a ropebreak, though Alizeh put her on the opposite side of the ropes because Mindy put them in close by she could almost reach them. Her hand stretched out trying to get close, or even a simple finger on it to save herself.

"GaaaaAaaaaggghh!" Mindy screamed. Her voice was getting hoarse and it worried fans who were wondering if she was try to endure as Alizeh throw her boot down to force her to scream more and more. Her hand continued to reach out for a ropebreak, unable to drag herself there until eventually she felt two of her fingers touch the bottom rope, which made her smile

...Until they slipped off. Mindy panicked and reached for it again but her fingers slipped off the ropes, she couldn't get the contact she needed to break free and was just right there! She attempted to reach for it one more time but after a few seconds her arm hit the mat, too exhausted to keep going and the pain reaching a tipping point. Eventually Mindy lightly tapped the mat over and over again waiting for the ref to tell Alizeh to let her go.

Alizeh had Mindy dead to rights, pulling on her leg and spine to their absolute limits, not letting up even for a instance except to make the pain worse by bashing Mindy’s knee kntk the mat! Pullkng the hold to its lomit everything else faded away, the crowd, the ref, even Mindy’s gradually hoarser voice faded away. So naturally Alizeh was ignorant of any attempts to reach the ropes, not that it mattered cause with how hard she was pulling there was only way she would let go… and lucky it happened, the small light taps that the referee and the referee alone recognized as they in turn called to end the match!

Alizeh for her part kept pulling, not out of cruelty, but simply cause her tunnel vision was so narrow she didnt even register the tap nor the ref practically yelling at her to let go. It wasn’t until the bell rang to officially bring an end to things that Alizeh recognized what had happened and let go of Mindy’s leg, just before rhe ref was abojt to start physically forcing her. Collapsing back on the mat Alizeh took in a few gasping, gulps of air, barely even registering what had happened. Not until the ref reached down to help her up to her feet as the announcers voice came on over the speakers.

”YOU’RE WINNER BY SUBMISSION AND OFFICIALLY IN THE RUNNING FOR INAUGURAL LAW OPENWEIGHT CHAMPION… ALIZEHHHHHHHH MIDORIIIIIIII!!!

Hearing those words and, knowing it was over Alizeh dropped down to her knees, tears of joy spilling from her eyes, the ref still holding onto her hand, helping Alizeh back up as she held both arms up proudly. It had been a war. A literal war and she had her battle scars, but she did what she said she would. She had climbed to the apex.

Mindy's tapping didn't end her torture soon enough, Alizeh had to rub salt in the wound keeping it locked in longer and only relenting after she was pushed off. Mindy wasn't out of it, that would be a mercy compared to having to hear Alizeh's name called instead of hers. Mindy put on the show of a lifetime and because she couldn't seal the deal Alizeh would reap the profits of it all. She wanted to leave the ring or cry or or swear revenge or something, she was too tired to do any of that and so she laid there and felt bad for herself.

Mindy Midnight had seen nothing but success where Karen Meadows failed, tonight was her night to cement all that hard work and make it meaningful. In the end Mindy Midnight proved as ineffective as Karen Meadows at getting the real job done, which begged the question that Mindy needed to ask herself. Was there a point to Mindy anymore? She needed some time to think, to adjust and ponder her next move. Right now? She also needed to rest and forget about today.

Winner: Alizeh Midori via submission.
