After everything, The Idol Dragons had gone through in this match, it was finally over. Nashi had no other choice but to tap at this point, given all the pain her body was in, she was surprised her back didn’t snap in half. Once she tapped that was all she wrote.

Yukino released her from the hold allowing, Nashi to fall on her back and stare right into the ring lights. All she could think about was the journey she made up to this point. While her qualifying record wasn’t the best, she did managed to at least win against the likes of JJ Johnson and Cecilia Lombard. She took some heavy breathes trying to let her breathe normally after how intense this fight was.

Nashi thought about it for a moment and remembered something. Throughout the match, she and Yukino were having so much fun, they both proved themselves worthy of contenders for the Openweight championship. Despite loosing the chance of the belt, hearing Yukino jump for joy as the crowd was cheering for her, and applauding the idols performances, brought a tear to her eye. Yukino had suffered a crushing defeat from Kira, and was forced to compete Apex despite not believing in herself. It honestly reminded her of their idol days. Nashi was seen as the more popular one, but she always viewed Yukino as an equal. Now, Yukino showed the whole world what she always believed.

Soon enough, Yukino came over and put her hand out for her best friend. A few tears dropped down her eyes seeing this. She flashed a grin and smiled”Yeah!” She shouted happily as she was pulled up by Yukino. When they stood up the crowd cheered with Yukino whispering”So I’ll win at Martial LAW and you Win Apex” She giggled to her partner before adding”and next time will win We Are Law, wanna say something for the crowd?” She asked wanting Yukino to have her moment.

Even after the announcement had been made, the cheers that filled the arena showed no sign of dying down any time soon. The Idol Dragons had put forth a match to be remembered, letting all their skills, dedication, and talent shine to the forefront. And now, at last, one of them had emerged victorious. The reception she was getting was enough to send a chill down Yukino's spine - even in her days as an idol, she had never gotten cheers like this.

She'd probably gotten cheers as vocal as this, and as impassioned as this, but there was nothing that hit her in quite the same way. She could never shake the feeling that she played second fiddle to Nashi, never managing to win the same sort of popularity she did even at her height. Maybe it was Nashi's more outgoing personality, or her greater willingness to get involved in concerts of publicity events, but the public seemed to think of her as the face of the Idol Dragons, and Yukino had struggled to keep the group going when Nashi left for her training and she had to manage her act solo. That only burdened her all the more - it seemed to confirm her worst fears that she would never escape from Nashi's shadow.

But tonight...she had. All the cheers were for her. They were celebrating her. Tonight, Yukino was the main attraction.

That wasn't entirely true, of course. Nashi had given this match her all, too, and the effort she put forth had been commendable. She had contributed just as much to making this match a standout. And just as many of the cheers were for her. Even if she had lost, she had still shown off an incredible showcase of talent that proved herself to be on the same level as LAW's perennial main eventers. Even now, fans were still cheering for them to keep on fighting, just for the spectacle of it all, and to see what lengths they could possibly go to top what they had accomplished. It made Yukino blush to think how many eyes were on her, and how many people cared so much about her. But she would accept it, all the same. She and Nashi had set out to put on a good show, and she wasn't disappointed. Not even if she had denied her friend the shot at the Openweight Championship - it didn't even seem to bother Nashi now, as she was just as eager to share in the celebration!

Helping Nashi to her feet, Yukino saw the tears in her eyes, and it made her well up with tears of her own. She pulled Nashi a little closer, throwing her arm around her side. When Nashi brought up their accomplishments, Yukino couldn't help but giggle. "Heh...I guess you're right," she said. But even if she smirked...it wouldn't change the fact that the two of them had everything in the world to take pride in. These were genuine achievements, and they had set them well on their way for greatness.

And sure enough, Yukino had an announcement to make. She nodded her head to Nashi, and she turned to face the crowd, a confident smile lighting up across her face. In the past, Nashi had usually been the one to address the public like this. She was always so much bolder, and so much more willing to speak up, while Yukino got anxious when the burden of delivering the news to so many eager fans was on her shoulders - she'd always feared she would make a mistake and embarrass herself, or let everyone down if she didn't do good enough. Now, though, there were no fears. If she had won this match, she was ready for anything!

Clearing her throat, Yukino held her head high as a microphone was brought out to her, and the cameras all focused on her face. "Believe me, it's an honor to know that you all enjoyed our match - really, it means so much more to me than I could ever begin to describe. It's what tells me that when I decided to become a wrestler...I made the right choice. I know for a lot of you, you want to see what else we could accomplish when we bring the best effort out of each other. You want to see a rematch. You want us to fight forever. Well...I'm afraid we don't have any plans of that any time soon. Nashi and I aren't just partners, we're best friends, and if we're going to make names for ourselves, we want to do it together."

"But...we have plans for just that." Yukino looked over at the judges' table, as Carol Barlet rose from her seat and headed toward the ring. "Some time ago, Nashi and I were in this same ring, face to face with the members of Irish Oldschool. And it was in that ring that a challenge was issued. A challenge to face off against one another for the WOWW Tag Team Championships at We Are LAW. We've been in some talks since then..."

At that point, Carol leaned into the microphone with a grin on her face. "...and I'm here to tell you all that it's official. Idol Dragons vs. Irish Oldschool, for the WOWW tag titles, is on for We Are LAW 6!"

At such an announcement, the crowd burst into even louder cheers, and Yukino took a step closer to her partner's side, pulling her up against her own. Sure, it wasn't an official LAW belt, but it was still a bigger prize for the fledgling team than they had ever been this close to before - and after this match, both Nashi and Yukino looked as though they just might have a chance to take it home!

"Nashi and I pledge to give it our best shot, as always! We know how much this opportunity means...and we're not going to give it any less than the effort it deserves! And if the judges do see fit to pick me for the inaugural Openweight Champion..." Yukino chuckled, looking back at Nashi. "I don't know, I'd look good with two belts, wouldn't I?"

Nashi was so proud of Yukino. She proved throughly that she deserved the crowd appeal that Nashi got. Now everyone was including the pinklette, was on the edge of their seat wondering what she’ll say.

The idol would listen to her best friend. Her speech moved Nashi to tears with her wiping off some of it. Yukino truly spoke from the heart, and despite them facing against each other, it felt like the greatest opponent for the both of them. Then came time for her to announce their upcoming We Are Law match against The Irish Oldschool. Then in an instant, Carol came into the ring to the shock of everyone including the idol dragons.

Nashi would listen to Yukino’s final speech. When she turned to her and talking about being double champion, she giggled”I agree partner ” She gave her a friendly smile before adding”but remember, after the WOWW belts don’t you wanna pay that golden jerk some payback?” She asked eagerly wanting Yukino to settle the score with Kira”and besides, 3 belts would make Yusuke go crazy” Nashi teasingly whispered into her partners ear.

When Yukino said her part, and when the crowd burst into a cavalcade of cheers and applause, the Winter Idol looked on at it all with a grin on her face, beaming with pride. Of all the times she'd had to speak before a crowd, she had just put forth the most important and impassioned speech of her life. This was her greatest accomplishment - more than any match, any victory, or any success, this meant more to Yukino than ever. She'd gone into Apex scared and unsure, only half-heartedly putting herself up for the challenge when she knew that the alternative would be to back down from a threat - which would all but confirm she didn't belong in the ring. But her confidence had grown more and more with every success - and now, she had risen to the challenge, honing her skills to success, and everything had paid off. She'd beaten Nashi. Now, there was nothing that could stand in her way! The very thought of it made the confidence swell in her heart, and she stood a little taller as a smile grew across her face. When she spoke, there was no hesitation. But even when she knew that every bit of praise and honor she was getting had been well earned, she still couldn't help but blush to think that this was all for her.

Still, Yukino wiped the tears away from her eyes and turned back to Nashi, who was there to greet her with a smile. "Nashi...I do need to thank you, most of all," she continued. "You've been my inspiration. You encouraged me to get this far...and we've got so much further to go!" Nashi would back that up, as a matter of fact - she brought up if Yukino would be willing to seek a rematch against Kira Kusangi, and maybe even claim the WOWW Championship for herself!

At this, Yukino jolted, her eyes going wide and the color draining from her face. "I...what..!?" As much as she knew she had accomplished greatness, as much as this match easily proved she had that potential in her, Yukino still couldn't help but balk at the thought she actually stood a chance against Kira herself. The memories of what she'd done to her in their match still came flooding back to the surface at the very mention of her name, and it was enough to make her shudder. If she went up against her again, she'd surely put herself in danger of the same, if not even worse. Could she really do it? Could she possibly stand to beat Kira?

But Yukino looked at Nashi. She looked at Carol, and she looked at Misa, who had come up to the side of the ring clapping for the two girls' hard work. Yukino had grown. She'd become so much stronger, and so much more capable, than she could have ever imagined - this match had been proof of that, not only that she'd won, but the fact she even had it in her to do any of the things she'd done in it! Yukino would never have thought she'd ever be Openweight Championship material, but here she was. If this match had taught her anything...it was that anything was possible.

She still had her hesitations. But she still sucked in a breath, and when she looked back up at Nashi, a smile broke across her face. "Well...maybe!"
