Entrance Song

Appearance
Small but tightly built, Vesper has a gymnast’s musculature — light on her feet and perfectly balanced for launching into flight. Her gear is bright and aerodynamic, often in bold sky-blue, white, and silver patterns. Her gear is tight fitting and conforms to her body, attaching to her almost like a second skin that helps her stay mobile and high flying. Her forearms and shins are padded with lightweight guards to support her springboard work. She carries herself with restless energy, constantly bouncing on her heels, scanning for her next takeoff point.

Personality
Vesper thrives on adrenaline, both in and out of the ring. She’s daring to the point of recklessness, never satisfied with “safe” offense. While she’s cheerful and approachable outside matches, her in-ring persona is all about testing limits — both hers and her opponents’. She believes if the crowd’s heart isn’t racing, she’s not doing her job.

Past
Backstory
Vesper Reyes was born in San Juan, Puerto Rico, to a single mother who worked as a flight attendant. From an early age, she was immersed in motion — planes, airports, travel — and it left her fascinated with speed and height. At age 7, she joined a gymnastics program and quickly showed natural agility and fearlessness. By her teens, she was competing nationally, her style marked by creative routines that often pushed the boundaries of what was considered safe.

At 17, a botched landing during a floor routine left Vesper with a severe ankle fracture. During recovery, she discovered lucha libre through old tapes shown by a family friend, a retired wrestler from CMLL. The flamboyance and aerial skill of the luchadores struck a chord — she saw a path where she could channel her love for flight into something new.

She began training in Puerto Rico under a local lucha school, learning the art of rope-running, arm drags, and aerial precision. She took her first bookings at 19, wrestling under a mask as La Golondrina (“The Swallow”). Her style was raw but electrifying, winning over crowds with her willingness to take risks other rookies wouldn’t dare. Over the next five years, she bounced between indie promotions in the Caribbean, Mexico, and Florida. Matches often ended with her soaring off balconies or lighting trusses — a reputation that earned her the nickname “Starfall.”

Vesper’s break came after a viral clip of her leaping off a 15-foot stage onto three opponents through a table at an Orlando indie show hit social media. The clip caught the attention of a L.A.W. talent scout looking to expand the league’s high-flyer division. After a trial match where she defeated two opponents in a triple threat ladder match, she was offered a contract. Now in L.A.W., she’s made it her mission to redefine what’s possible in the air — no matter the risk to herself
