Personal Information
Personality
Sun Hee grew up in a well-off Korean family, where expectations were incredibly high. Her mother, a renowned singer, set a standard of excellence that her father expected Sun Hee to meet in every aspect of her life. Though she inherited her mother’s talent and drive, the constant pressure to be perfect made her somewhat awkward and introverted. She often felt like she was living in the shadow of her parents’ expectations, struggling to express herself fully outside of seeking perfection. For this reason, even today, she becomes overwhelmed when she does not find success, especially thinking of failure as something that might step in the way of her freedom and independence.

Wrestling became Sun Hee’s escape from the pressures of her upbringing. In the ring, she found a place where she could focus on something she truly enjoyed solely on her terms. The competition, the excitement, and the opportunity to meet new people gave her a sense of freedom she rarely experienced elsewhere. Alongside the thrill of wrestling, Sun Hee also loved the chance to find some more amorous interactions on her own terms rather than getting married off to a trust fund kid. However, her introverted nature sometimes led her into tricky situations, especially when someone saw her reserved demeanor as a chance to take advantage of her.

Beneath her reserved exterior, Sun Hee is a kind and loyal friend, though it takes time to earn her trust. She has a hard shell, built up over years of trying to live up to her parents' expectations, but those who take the time to get to know her find a deeply caring and supportive person. Wrestling has allowed her to develop meaningful relationships outside of her family’s strict environment, giving her a sense of belonging she had always longed for.
History
Sun Hee was born into a privileged Korean family with high expectations and immense pressure to succeed. Her mother was a renowned singer, and her father demanded nothing less than perfection from her. In school, Sun Hee was involved in numerous clubs and maintained top academic performance, but the weight of these expectations eventually took a toll on her mental health. She reached a breaking point and came close to needing therapy, but her sister’s unwavering support helped her navigate this challenging period. With her sister’s encouragement, she managed to get through the experience, though the strain had a lasting impact on her.

Once she had a means to escape her father's relentless ambitions, Sun Hee seized the opportunity by securing a scholarship to a university of her choice. However, the pressure didn’t relent; her father continued to impose his expectations, forcing Sun Hee to reevaluate her situation. She decided to use part of her scholarship money to drop out after only a few months, seeking freedom from the constraints of her father’s demands. This decision marked the beginning of her journey to carve out her own path.

Sun Hee then took to touring with a martial arts group, hoping to find a sense of independence and self-worth away from her family’s expectations. However, her father’s influence followed her, and the group, unwilling to deal with the added complications, eventually asked her to leave. Not easily deterred, Sun Hee joined a traveling wrestling promotion that was eager to embrace her skills. Adopting the moniker "Maegu" and concealing her identity with a mask, she found a new arena to showcase her talents.

In this new environment, Sun Hee thrived, her technical prowess and agility quickly earning her a reputation. Her success in the traveling promotion was remarkable; she gained popularity and respect rapidly, thanks to her unique blend of wrestling skills and martial arts techniques. The mask allowed her to reinvent herself and escape from her past, creating a new persona that resonated with fans and fellow wrestlers alike.

Her achievements did not go unnoticed. LAW, a major Japanese promotion, saw the potential in Sun Hee and extended an invitation for her to join their ranks. The opportunity to perform in LAW was a dream come true, aligning perfectly with her desire for both professional success and personal freedom.
Fun Facts
+ Sun Hee is one of the many South Korean youths to have some small amount of cosmetic surgery; she has a slightly different chin and nose than the one she was born with. Her father's pressure, of course.
+ Her sister is the "failure" of the family for becoming a successful gaming and IRL streamer, and Sun Hee has made several appearances on her streams. Sun Hee isn't much of a gamer from an interest standpoint, but she's good at them.
+ Sun Hee owns nine different deadly weapons, and yes, she knows how to use all of them.
