History/Before Joining LAW:
Maria was born in Sweden and had parents who were really into the whole vegetarian lifestyle. She was a happy child that ate all of her vegetables, and only vegetables. However, Maria grew up poor and all that vegetarian lifestyle really costed her family all of their money. But that all changed when Maria was exposed to the wonders of children’s entertainment.
Luck would have it, Maria had her eyes glued to the television with Swedish children shows playing back to back. That caused Maria to fall in love with being a children’s entertainer and with the money saved up from birthdays, christmases, and just finding random kronors on the floor, she got herself some things to start being a children’s entertainer. This was also a time where YouTube was turning a bit kid friendly to appeal to advertisers so Maria set up an account and began entertaining children in Sweden. She gained popularity throughout the world and currently has about 2.5 million subscribes.
However, Maria wouldn’t get into wrestling until one day, while she was scrolling through videos, she saw a random match posted by someone. She took a look at it and felt that love of being that young Swedish girl watching children’s programming again. This caused Maria to decide to become a professional wrestler for a side gig. Her fans wouldn’t notice their beloved star being a wrestler so where was the problem in that. Maria went out to gyms to train to become a professional wrestler.
Maria worked day and night to get better at wrestling and by then, she was apart of her first Indy show. She was given a gimmick to be this mean lady and she felt off about it. Probably didn’t help that she was terrible in her debut. That was when she decided to change the gimmick to her usual cheery attitude and that was the spark that shot her up into stardom but not for the right reasons. Fans hated the changed gimmick but for Maria, it felt natural and she was gaining attention to herself.
LAW picked up on this face being hated by the fans and decided to sign her up, flying to Sweden to meet up and sign a contract. Maria felt like it was a dream come true and thus the beginning of her career as a LAW superstar.
