Personality:
Karen believes that because she is a 3rd generation wrestler that she is destined for greatness. Which has made her become an rather arrogant , obnoxious , irritating and proud individual .
That personality combined with her rather laziness when it comes to training drove her mom to the brink.
Past/History:
Karen grew up in what could be called an local wrestling dynasty if your being honest. As on her dad's side of the family they bin involved with wrestling since the 1930s. Mostly in backstage, refereeing and booking roles with some famous wrestlers marrying into the family. One of them was her mom who was the daughter of an pretty popular female wrestler back in the day.
However nobody was more popular or successful then her mom as she broke all kinds of records. From Championships she won in various leagues, tournaments won and epic rivalries she had all across Europe.
So it came as no surprise when Karen would begin training, and working backstage when she was in her early teens. Which at first was fine with both of her parents until her mom began to notice her behavior. As she got more complaints from her fellow wrestlers about how Karen was behaving.
Arguing with her trainers when her mom did not have the time to train Karen herself. Not that the brat was not being difficult then, but Peggy thought at first it was just puberty. Only to find out that her husband at the time was filling her daughter's head with absolute rubbish.
Saying she would not have to train or pay her dues to her fellow wrestlers. This lead to Karen's parents arguing not stop for over 6 months, and lead to them getting an divorce when she was 16. Which forced the young teen to make an decision as her mom made an ultimate then and there.
She could stay, and be raised by her dad. Training under the people he would hire for her, and likely become an local headliner. However if she did then she could not use her mom's maiden name. However if she went with her mom then she could use it as her ringname, but she would then have to earn her way to the top.
Both situations had negatives and positives aspects. However in the end it came down to her desire to become an star, and while would have to put in the work she could become an bigger star with her mom then her dad.
Well that, and the fact she was not blind. As once it came out her mom was leaving her dad's promotion fans stayed away, and big names it used to be able to book stayed away. So it was not an surprise when she was around 18 that she heard stories of her dad's promotion thinking about asking for bankruptcy.
Still the issues between her and her mom remained. As she would refuse to put in the effort her mom thought she needed as she believed her talent was more then enough. It lead to her mom asking - - for an favor since she and - - were old friends. With her friend's help she manage to get an offer to come work for LAW while Karen would have to report to the young lioness dorm to be trained by - - as she hoped her friend or her fellow young lions could teach her the lesson her mom failed to teach her so far.
