Nationality: Japanese
Preferred matches: Standard, softcore, Falls count anywhere. Is adverse to doing outright hentai or hardcore matches though.

Fighting Style:
Kanako is, first and foremost, fast. She was always good with footwork thanks to her background as an idol, but with proper training to effectively use that footwork she now possesses the skills to run circles around her opponents in the ring. In addition she is also an amazing acrobat, able to do cartwheels and flips and tricks like nobodies business, and she has an intimate knowledge of how to take advantage of the ring to aid in these maneuverers. She has also become quite adept at striking, though she doesn't have much in the way of raw power she makes up for that with momentum to put some much needed weight behind her blows. As well as improving on her specialities she now also has a much greater grasp on the fundamentals of wrestling, while she's not exactly amazing at it she is now much more competent at grappling and countering holds, and so long as her opponents aren't too much bigger than her she can even bust out the occasional power move against them.

Kanako's moveset is not just about traditional wrestling techniques though, and when she needs to she is more than willing to use her other assets to her advantage. Kanako is blessed with a soft pair of breasts and a round peachy ass that are perfect for smothering, and when given the opportunity she will use them to cut off an opponents breathing and put them to sleep, a non-conventional method of defeating an opponent that she is very efficient in. In addition to her increased skill with smothers Kanako is now more sexually experienced than she was previously, enhancing the potency of her smothers and making her more effective at pleasuring her opponent. This makes her a force to be reckoned with in softcore matches, and makes her quite effective in distracting her opponents in more traditional bouts.

Signature moves:
-Peach Comet: Kanako's name for a flying hip attack. This was one of the few wrestling moves she could pull off properly as Rise, and thanks to Melony's tutelage she is now extremely proficient in it and can use it effectively in numerous circumstances.

-Starstruck: A Cartwheel Dropkick. This move takes advantage of Kanako's amazing acrobatic ability to land a solid hit on her opponents. Can be used as a counter, or as a high impact move with enough momentum.

Finishers:
-White Dwarf: A Leg Drop Bulldog delivered against a bent over opponent to drive their face into the mat. This is Kanako's main finisher for when she doesn't want to climb up the turnbuckle, but can be utilised as a diving move if she wishes.

-Starburst: Kanako climbs to the top rope and usually strikes a pose before leaping off for a Sky Twister Press, landing on top of a supine opponent and usually following up with a pin. As the flashier of her two finishers it is the one she uses when she really wants to make an impact.

Personality: Kanako is first and foremost an entertainer, nothing makes her happier than to put on a show and put smiles on people's faces. This attitude lends well to her ability to play to the crowd, Kanako has been charming audiences since her teens which makes her a sight to behold in the ring that the fans will come to see again and again. Cute, charming and always with a smile on her face people just can't help but adore Kanako whenever she struts her stuff in the ring, even sometimes her opponents.

But beneath Kanako's cutesy exterior lies a passionate and determined young woman who does not let failure hold her down in pursuit of her desires. When she truly wants something she will not compromise on it and will keep at it again and again, that's why she never gives up even in the face of failure. Since leaving LAW and becoming a real wrestler Kanako has reinvented her wrestling persona. Gone is the idol who would suffer to make her fans cheer, now she is defined by her desire for the fans to cheer for her success instead. The end result is the same, she's still a showman who loves to dazzle audiences but now she is motivated by her own self interest and desire to succeed rather than being a slave to her fan's desires.

History:
Spoilered for being long
Kanako Sawatari was born the daughter of a popular model and was able to get into a good school in Tokyo because of it, but despite this she was was quite shy and quiet as a child. Her lack of social skills and her being the daughter of a celebrity led to her being bullied quite often and having no friends growing up. In hopes of having her one day follow in her mother's footsteps her family would arrange to have her enter a competition to become an idol like her mother had when she was young. Kanako agreed in the hopes that becoming an idol would allow her to become popular and make some friends.

Thanks to her natural good looks and connections with her mother Kanako was able to be signed up for idol training, and after a few months of gruelling training she was ready for her idol debut under the alias of Rise Kujikawa, or Risette. With her cheery attitude, cute looks and great singing voice Risette was an instant hit and an overnight sensation! And with this newfound popularity the girls back at school who had previously been bullying her were clamouring to be her friends! Becoming an idol gave Kanako the life she always wanted!

Or at least she thought so at first, but over time she came to realise that the "friends" she'd made since becoming an idol were just sycophants who wanted to get on her good side because she was popular, even though they'd treated her like trash before when she was just a quiet loner. None of them actually cared about Kanako herself, they only cared for the fake persona she had created for herself as an idol, and when she realised this she began to despair.

As she grew increasingly tired of this and the exhausting lifestyle of an idol she decided to take an indefinite hiatus until she could decide whether or not she truly wanted to continue with her career. During this time she would go to live with her grandmother in a small town in the Japanese countryside and she would transfer to the local highschool there. In that small town school she was able to have a more low-key highschool life, although she was still occasionally recognised it was nothing like when she went to school in the big city.

With this clean slate Kanako was able to finally make friends for real with other students from her highschool, including a senpai in the year above her who she developed a crush on. Through these friends her eyes would be opened to a great many experiences, most importantly of all professional wrestling. A friend of hers named Kanji got the group tickets to a big-name wrestling show and Kanako came along, not expecting much from the event other than just having fun with her friends.

But in spite of her low expectations she was completely blown away, the combination of dramatic pageantry and physical athleticism excited the girl and left her hungry for more when it ended. At her insistence watching wrestling became a regular pastime of the group, both gathering together to watch it on TV and going to see a show live when they could, which would eventually become a major factor in the strong bonds Kanako would form with her friends. It got to the point where she seriously considered never returning from her Idol Hiatus and becoming a wrestler instead, though at the time she decided that was not a realistic option with some prompting from her parents.

As much as she treasured her time as a normal teen it would eventually come to an end and halfway through her second year of highschool her hiatus would end and she returned to the life of an idol. But even when this forced her to leave the town she'd called home for the past two years she didn't get upset, knowing that she'd finally gained what she'd always been lacking as an idol. With newfound enthusiasm she would return to the spotlight and soon Risette was back and better than ever!

A few years later and Kanako's career would start to falter, slowly spiralling into a rut. Her music wasn't selling well anymore and she needed to take her career in a new direction to stay relevant or she risked becoming forgotten. During this time she once again grew interested in pursuing wrestling, and as she was no longer a student who was subservient to her parents wishes there where no obstacles in her path. After some research she decided that LAW would be the best fit for her and immediately began her training, though she would rush to join LAW after only a few months of preparation.

Unfortunately for the girl she would soon find that wrestling was not as easy as she'd hoped it would be and she'd spend the whole first year of her career taking loss after loss. Though she was happy that the LAW audience were enjoying her matches it still hurt her self confidence to be constantly losing, especially given how humiliating some of her defeats were. This self sacrificing approach to fighting would eventually lead to her facing a particularly nasty heel by the name of Huxian Li. By now the crowd had come to expect Kanako to lose in a humiliating ways for their pleasure and her fanbase had somewhat warped around this expectation, a fact that Huxian took advantage of to put the idol through horrible torment, up to and including threatening to have her get violated by the fans themselves! After surviving this match it became clear to Kanako that something needed to change, she had to do something to rid herself of this warped fandom she had developed around her losses.

Eventually she realised what a big problem with her approach was; she was trying to balance two careers at once while attempting to compete with women who were giving wrestling their all. If she truly wished to free herself from this cycle of mediocrity and humiliation she would have to choose between becoming a full-time wrestler or cutting her losses and going back to being a full-time idol. It was not an easy choice to make, but in the end she remembered how inspired she was when she first discovered wrestling and was ultimately swayed to stay her course and quit her idol career to wrestle full time.

When she finally did publicly announce it in a LAW magazine interview there was some backlash from her fans, but she had made the choice now and there was no turning back. After two more matches with somewhat mediocre results Kanako would come to the conclusion that her lack of training had been holding her back, the skill level of LAW was too high for her to overcome with determination alone and if she wanted to compete she had to start her career from scratch.

Thus she would leave LAW with a promise to her fans that she was coming back once she was deserving of a place on the roster. Thanks to a chance meeting with Melony Peaches she would gain a reliable teacher with which to begin her training anew. After six months of training Kanako would make her debut in the indies, this time making the decision to wrestle under her real name rather than her idol alias. At first the fans were shocked at this change, but as they began to realise that they were dealing with a new and improved woman they would be more than receptive of the transformation she took. Over time Kanako would develop a new ring persona; combining her newfound confidence and competence with her showmanship routes to reinvent herself.

After a year of wrestling in the indies Kanako would establish herself as a big name among young, upcoming wrestlers. This made her a hot potential pick for the LAW roster, and soon her fans would begin petitioning for her to return. Word of this would reach LAW management, who quickly saw potential for a great comeback story and would reach out to Kanako with an offer. Though she couldn't help but worry that she wasn't ready Kanako knew that this was the chance she had been looking for to prove herself, so she would accept and would soon be given a new LAW contract. Now Kanako is ready to explode back into LAW like the Supernova she is.
