Personality:
Quiet, polite, and always helpful outside the ring. Inside the ring she is quick and merciless. Kanako has trained her whole life for being in the ring. She wants to put on matches that make the audience roar with excitement. Her favorite holiday is Dia de Los Muertos (Day of the Dead), hence her morbid choice in persona.
Idolizes the wrestling business and aims to be the best. However, she constantly compares herself to her father causing her to agonize over every loss, mistake, and botch. She feels that she needs to be hard on herself in order to be worthy enough.
History:
Kanako grew up watching her father compete on the Mexican Wrestling Circuit under the name “Los Muerte”. Inside the ring he was a fierce competitor that was cheered endlessly by the crowd either in victory or defeat. It didn’t take long for Kanako to become infatuated with the culture of wrestling.
She started training at an early age, watching other wrestlers like her father and trying to build a repertoire of moves she could incorporate into her own persona. When Kanako turned 18 she started training directly with her father. Although he was always supportive, she quickly noticed the skill gap between them and grew disappointed in herself.
Kanako eventually completed her training, but decided against joining any local promotions to instead wrestle in her mother’s home country of Japan. Secretly she was afraid to taint her father’s legacy. She committed herself to becoming a great wrestler that could one day return to Mexico and make her father proud.
