Bio
Calista had always been performative; ever eager to be the centre of attention, it was difficult for her to know when to even stop herself sometimes. Unfortunately upon pursuing a career on the stage the best she could manage was anything along the line of "Assistant" to someone greater- a spotlight she wanted more than anything! But despite her best efforts to try and show up her own main attractions and dressing more enticing to draw the eye, Calista was relegated to behind the scenes grunt work for trying to step out of her lane. While it would be fair for her to mope and lament her lost opportunities, instead she made a life changing decision to expose the performers she once worked under for their shady dealings and illegal practices... leaving the theatre company she once performed for out of business.
While any sane person would try and keep their head down upon ruining a lucrative opportunity for criminals- Calista thrived on the attention she received- even if most of it was... less than pleasant. Seeing herself as a sort of justice-bound heroine; she created her own mantle as a spite to those she once worked beneath and a name that would strike fear in the hearts of any villains wherever she could find them~ "Calista, The Magnificent!"
While the theatre was admittedly shorter on villains than she expected- there was one industry where villainy was running rampant; and Calista was more than happy to throw her top hat into the ring to try and make a difference... Wrestling!
Wrestling Information
Calista is new to the wrestling scene, but not new to the stage; performing for a crowd is what she thrives on and she adores the cheers... and jeers in equal measure! Her former talents in acrobatics and flexible nature from the acts she performed in makes her adept at stretches, unique submissions and high flying offense! Exposing the criminals of her past has given her a right mind on how to stifle any villain she is faced with; anything that exposes or embarrasses them in the ring will surely make them falter to her might! She needs to remember to keep herself in line though- she has a tendency to get carried away with her theatrics! (something that caused her to lose her position in the past...)
General Statistics
Endurance ★★ - Calista has flexibility but does not have as much experience in taking much punishment... besides verbal.
Strength ★ - Who needs strength when you have... Pizzazz?! *jazz hands*
Speed ★★★ - Calista can wrap herself around opponents swiftly and using her nimble frame to keep herself out of danger!
Defence ★★ - A good counter or dodge may be attainable at certain points... Hopefully wrestling is as choreographed as she has been led to believe!
Technique ? - Calista's technique is all based on her experience in acrobatics and theatrical performances... so in that regards an easy 5 stars! Within a wrestling ring though... well; let's leave that rating for the critics to decide!
Finishing Moves
Caught in the act: While behind a standing opponent, Calista pulls their leg up tight to their body as high as it can go while also putting the opposite arm into a half nelson. With her opponent balanced on one foot and trapped, Calista begins to slide her own legs into a splits; taking her opponent down slowly with her as they are forced to endure the same (or worse) stretch! Once down on the ground, Calista maneuvers her opponents legs into a perfect 90 degree angle and wraps her own legs around her opponents tightly!
Worlds Tallest Jawbreaker: Calista leaps onto a dazed, standing opponent with her hands on their shoulders; utilizing her impressive balance to fully raise her body upside down from such a height! Splitting her legs 90 degrees wide while in the handstand, Calista then pulls her weight backward- crashing herself down to the canvas in the splits while pulling her opponents head down for the ride; SMASHING it on the top of her skull!
