WIP
Snegurka/Winter suffers from brain damage that has robbed her of a great portion of her memories and induced Dissociative Identity Disorder. Both personalities are aware of the existence of the other, regarding each other as sisters.
Winter/Odile
Winter is a woman who craves excitement. She likes to party and live her life on the edge: Dancing the night away after popping Ecstasy, bungee jumping, stepping into a cage for a fight...whatever gets the blood pumping. She's more worldly and streetwise than her "sister", and a touch cynical.
Winter isn't too concerned about knowing so little about her own life. Although she wonders from time to time, she has the feeling that her past is one best forgotten.

Snegurka/Odette
Snegurka is a woman who's finding her way in the world, in the sort of sense that she's recently discovered it; like she's been given freedom after having been locked away for a long time, having some ideas of what she wants to do with it (as small as they may be), but almost being overwhelmed with all of the choices offered to her despite her curiosity. She's not very talkative, but isn't unfriendly, with a preference for being out there amongst other people. But just as another face in the crowd. Another body on the dance floor. And sometimes as an observer off to the side.
Similar to her "sister", Snegurka has no concerns about knowing so little about her own life, viewing it as freeing.

Pain. Blinding pain, like her head was about to explode. A torrent of snow falling from the sky to join with the crimson that surrounded her. The embrace of the Reaper. So cold, yet so freeing. That feeling of floating away, followed by nothingness.
That was the last thing that Winter could remember before waking up in that hospital bed, surrounded by people speaking a language that she could understand, yet knew was foreign to her. To them; Snegurka didn't come out often, but her presence was noticed. Only by the staff at first, but after enough incidents of losing time and being told about how differently she acted afterwards, Winter would come to realize that she wasn't alone.
She'd been diagnosed with Dissociative Identity Disorder, a result of physical trauma to the brain. It was a very peculiar case in which none of the usual suspects were the culprit: She hadn't been in a vehicular collision. Hadn't fallen from up high or hit anything on the way to the ground. She'd been shot, but not in the head. Had been struck, but not with a weapon.
Outside of healing, no one could help her. There were no witnesses to her assault. She had no friends or family in Spain. Nowhere to go. After her release, Winter was entirely on her own. It would be some time before she'd gathered enough funds from various jobs to find a place that could be called home. By then, she was about convinced that Snegurka was just a voice in her head. But that safety would bring her out again. Months later, Snegurka too would realize that she had someone there with her. That there was something more to those notes she'd find addressed to herself every so often in their apartment.
It was a great comfort to them both, regardless of their awareness that the other was a product of their shattered mind. It made moving forward to build a new life easier. And it was even better that they had some of the same interests: Those of the Goth subculture and its music would lead them to a nightclub called The Primal, which would come to be a home away from home for the two of them. The dark aesthetic, the collection of jams that played every night, the people, and in time, the fights that were being held in the basement. "The Pit". Snegurka didn't care much for combat, but Winter was drawn to the concept of cage fighting. And when Noelia Carnicero Cortez, the owner, started offering money to those who stepped inside the octagon, either against her or another fighter, she just knew that she could do well. Well enough to be able to quit that delivery job.
But Winter wouldn't step up to fight Noelia herself, despite the much larger payout that was promised for a victory. It was too risky a venture in her eyes: Lucrative, but at the potential cost of losing her favorite spot if she happened to damage Noelia's ego. Staying away from the main event was the safer bet. More consistent. To be on the safe side, the two would go by aliases when Winter started fighting: She'd go by Odile, while Snegurka would call herself Odette. The latter had no intention of ever stepping into the cage, but...old habits die hard? A curious thought.
Anyway, it worked out. And so well that Winter surprised herself.
The more she fought, the more it came back to her, piece by piece: How deep the depths of her discipline went. That it had a name. Artemievna Martial Arts, passed down from generation to generation. Always evolving, just like the rest of the world. Snegurka would remember its purpose before Winter did, and with her influence, the techniques would be applied as they were to be when being taught or practiced, and never as they were truly meant to be. When Winter remembered that the purpose of the art was to kill, she was more disturbed by how unbothered she was by the concept. It felt like something that had been drilled into her from birth. Like two plus two adding up to four.
Snegurka was horrified by the implications, and Winter wasn't sure if she wanted to know about the life they'd left behind. Neither of them would try to think about it too much.
Odile would come to be a popular name in The Primal, second only to its owner, who would become her best friend. The first person to stick around after learning that she was two people in one body. And through Salma, she'd come to meet others who would also be, as Salma described how she felt them and her in a later conversation, "big players in the writing of the next chapter of her life:"
Olga, Salma's older sister. A former soldier, turned MMA fighter.
Phoebe Knox, known professionally as Lucinda Kane. A prodigious fighter who would be the first to really challenge Noelia. And also, end Odile's winning streak. But not without cost: After Lucinda had dismissed her art as "Quack Fu", she took away the use of her arm for a month with the Pacifier technique. Funnily enough, that would be the thing to cement their friendship.
Haqikah Gustav Reinhardt, a world-renowned Mixed Martial Artist who had been fighting since she reached the age of majority.
Amirah Mansour Kattan, Haqikah's best friend and an accomplished luchadora.
Robin Estefania Murillo Acosta, a friend of Amirah's and a fellow luchadora, based in deathmatch wrestling.
Women who came from different backgrounds, but they would all be brought together by a liking for the dark and spooky. A theme that would remain consistent even after the falling out between Haqikah and Phoebe: Feeling wronged in the breakdown of their relationship -- a breakdown that Haqikah herself had caused -- she would go so far as to recruit the others to form a group so she could follow Phoebe into the world of professional wrestling.
Lucinda Kane was a member of a stable called The Coterie. Quite a successful one, with every actively competing member earning gold. Haqikah intended to outshine them all. Crush them. Make Phoebe regret leaving her. It was her worst quality by far: That fragile ego.
Unbeknownst to her, not a single one of them was on board with that mission. But coming together meant that they'd get to do some very interesting LARPing; playing the role of an antagonistic faction of vampires that would be known as The Black Myriad. It would be the main reason why the Artemievna sisters would join the effort: Neither were fans of professional wrestling, but they still thought it would make for a fun time with their friends.
Plus, Winter had taken an interest in the hardcore and deathmatch elements of the sport. To her, that's as real as it gets: No restrictions. Nothing to keep her opponents from coming at her full force with any and everything they've got at hand.
Cage fighting is fun, but as far as she can remember, she's never been in a proper street fight...

Spoiler
Odile and Odette both fight with the usage of what is known to them as Artemievna Martial Arts, a hybrid style that incorporates aspects of several others, including Aki-JuJutsu, Combat Sambo, Karate, and a deadly art that has lost its name but is at least known to be Chinese, along with some of her own touches. The Artemievna discipline is fashioned around the swift and devastatingly effective disabling of the opponent with the utilization of specific nerves, joints, and of course, the targeting of vulnerable areas such as the eyes, groin, knees, and others.
It was designed to be an assassination art, with the aim of killing one's target as quickly as possible. But those in the Artemievna family are taught non-lethal (albeit still very painful) forms of their techniques in training, mainly to demonstrate the damage they can cause. Odile and Odette both use these non-lethal techniques in LAW. Both maneuver about with fae-like grace, being very hard to hit when one doesn't have a solid grip on them and as slippery as a snake. Both are more durable than their willowy form would suggest, but Odile, the more combat hungry of the two, is more resilient, still.
They prefer to let their opponents come to them, or bait them into attacking, and then take them down with their deadly arsenal. Odette will finish the bout as quickly and painlessly as she can, and Odile will dismantle her foe piece by piece.

The Fight Club match takes place at the of The Primal, is owned by fellow Black Myriad member Noelia Carnicero Cortez. When Odile/Odette competes here, it's typically with an old school UFC standard for the rules. That is to say, no disqualifications, time limits, or pinfalls.
Attitudes Towards Hentai Matches
Odile
"Just try to hold up against my techniques, and we'll see where the night takes us."
Odette
"Hentai isn't the thing for me."
Signature and Finishing Moves
Signature Moves
Parry
Catch and Release
Perpetual Motion Wheel
Named as such because she won't stop moving if she happens to miss, never giving the opponent a chance to capitalize. Or otherwise maneuvering about to get something else going if she scores a hit.
Spirit Blast
Performed against an opponent coming off of the ropes, aimed precisely at the solar plexus or right between the legs whenever the situation allows it. Her extensive training has made it very unlikely for her to miss her mark. May be followed with a powerful vertical kick...
A combination that turns this into a Finishing Move.
Oblique Kick
Black Widow Thumb Technique
There doesn't have to be a punch to catch, but you get the gist.
Deep Gouge
Arm Bar and Knee
Mantis Heel
Is sometimes comboed into.
Stiletto Combination
Uplifter
Is done to an opponent coming off the ropes.
Down To The Rocks
Lame Rack
Edakudaki
Ebi'ori
Okurite Mawashi
Oboroguruma
Kiri'e Otoshi
Tekime Toushin
Kusabi Otoshi
Signature Moves (God Hand Techniques)
Bladehand
A move that can be a Signature Move, Finishing Move, or Critical Finishing Move depending on where Odile/Odette aims and how much force she puts into the blow. A strike to a vulnerable spot in the back of the skull can induce a lengthy stun. And more dangerously, Odile/Odette can dislocate vertebrae, inflicting pain and numbness, affecting the opponent's posture and ability to maneuver about, if not robbing them of their ability to move, period.
Throat Crusher
Another move that can be either a Signature or a Finisher depending on how much force is applied. It's a bad time either way, both during the match and afterwards. You'll never take swallowing for granted again.
Arm Pacifier
Cerebral Destruction
One of the deadliest of the God Hand techniques. Can induce an excruciating, potentially crippling migraine, a knockout, or something much more serious depending on the force applied.
Finishing Moves
Running Knee
Simple, yet effective. Is normally performed as Odile.
Fudoujin
Simple, yet effective. Is normally performed as Odette.
Wishbone Kneebar
Belly-Down Armbar
Critical Finishing Moves
Cartwheel Knee
Odette aims at a very specific point in the chest, right where the heart is, stopping it with ease. She knows a technique that will get it pumping again, but you'll definitely be feeling it for a while afterwards.
Heart Grinder
One of the deadliest of the God Hand techniques. The Heart Grinder holds the potential to cause the target's heart to explode when properly applied. It's one that Odile will use only use in the most dire of circumstances, and one that Odette refuses to use, period.
And even in these aforementioned circumstances, it won't be used to its maximum potential. As is the case with the Cartwheel Knee, this move will stop the heart, but the opponent can be revived swiftly.
