Strengths - Hakune's main strength is in her strikes and her speed. While not strong or heavy, her blows can slowly chip away at an opponent and batter their bodies down to leave them open for a heavy kick or decisive chop. Hakune's speed allows her to easily dodge most attacks thrown at her as well, making her great at using hit-and-run tactics.
Weaknesses - For as smart as Hakune's strategy is, she will rarely every follow it due to the heroic personality and character she tries to play. Her "Samurai Code" will always make her take hits she shouldn't, or try to clash with stronger opponents as if equal footing in order to appear honorable and fair, making her very easy to fool or take advantage of.

• Battou - Kireru: Taking a stance with her leg prepped back, Hakune snaps her back leg forward for a fast roundhouse that catches her opponent off guard.
• Battou - Sasu: Taking a stance with her arm prepped back, Hakune thrusts it forward for a piercing spearjab into her opponent's stomach or sternum, doing heavy damage to them internally.

Finishing move(s)

• Ougi - Zanshin: A heavy ax kick to a groggy opponent's head, often done from the ropes or turnbuckle to put extra weight and torque on her heel for a knockout blow that would be followed with a pin.

Personality: Selena is an excitable, dorky girl that loves to explore, learn, and absorb anything she can about Japan and Japanese culture, from it's anime to its history (especially the former). While her enjoyment of these things are superficial at best, she tries to be earnest about them. She's someone that isn't afraid of showing who she is to anyone, no matter embarrassing she (or they) might find her hobbies and interests to be.

In the ring, however, she tweaks herself to become Hakune Akari, the Crimson Samurai. Hakune, much like Selena, is still a very spirited girl, but with a competitive edge. She takes any challenge she gets, fights with honor, and tries to bring out the best in both her and her opponent. She views the ring as a battlefield where spirits collide and are refined through blood, sweat, and tears. Though... she tends to take her character a little too seriously at time, believing she's in some anime shounen battle.

History: Selena Hawthorn is an American cosplayer with a real obsession for Japan and Japanese culture. It all started with a trip to Japan. Selena was a well known cosplayer and model in America, modeling for promotions of video games, and even a few western releases of anime. Most of her time was spent making costumes or studying about Japanese culture in her freetime. Once she graduated from high school she took her cosplaying to full-time, entering contests and doing commission work for outfits. She had a cult following at conventions, and even got invited to a convention in Japan to discuss overseas cosplaying on a panel.

It was there that things changed. At the convention, she was stalked and harassed an admirer, to the point where they were physically and sexually harassing her. She called out for help, and a female security guard had apprehended the person with a style and flare that caught Selena's eye. The guard introduced herself as a private security officer and bodyguard and the two decided to exchange contact information. At first Selena asked for protection while in Japan, but later decided to ask her to train her up to be a fighter. Her interest came from seeing a match at LAW. The flashy fighters and wrestlers reminded her a lot of both her cosplaying and the battle manga she read. She wanted to take a stab at it. Her bodyguard was reluctant at first, but agreed to also train her. And so, she joined LAW as Hakune Akari, the red warrior that would cut through all standing before her... or something like that. She's still refining the backstory.

• Selena live a few miles from Tokyo, in an apartment right next to her bodyguard.
• Before her training for LAW, Selena actually had a purple belt in Taekwondo, as she did the martial art for exercise and fitness back in the US

  A match of Knight vs. Samurai takes a disastrous turn as Hakune faces the knight wrestler Lily in a hentai submission match. A strong offense from the Samurai was quickly pushed back, forcing her to endure an orgasm along with her opponent's before finally tapping out to end it all.

  In the Samurai's most harrowing fight yet, Hakune takes on the House of Hegemony's Scarlaheart in her first battle against the Reinhardt family. And after enduring Scarlaheart's harsh blows and cruel words she was able to push through and find victory, only to gain the ire and spite of the entire Hegemony, along with a target on her back.

  A battle against a debuting fighter turns into a brawl as the Samurai faces the batting girl Saya in a match that had them clash both wills and weapons until Hakune bring out the honest spirit of her opponent and end the match in her victory.

Plot Ideas/Preferences

Author's Notes - Hakune an underdog. This isn't to say she's a weak fighter, but she's very new to combat, inexperienced in many regards, and tends to act more like a character than a fighter. She's got a lot of heart and it's hard to bring her down for long, but her fighting style makes her pretty susceptible to heel-ish tactics and falling for tricks. Against more honorable or inexperienced fighters she'd have more of a fighting chance though. That said, she'd not complete cannon fodder and does have a lot of shounen anime bullshit guts and spirit to push her pass what might keep a normal person down, so expect a tough fight either way. As far as matches go she's free for almost anything, even hentai. Just nothing too brutal like certain hardcore matches.
