"...Entering first, hailing from Atlanta, Georgia...the lean, mean, bubblegum-chewing machine ready to bring the PAIN...standing at 5'8 and weighing in at 149 lbs...NORAAAA....'BUBBLE'...BOWERS!!!"

At the top of the ramp stood the badass prizefighter, popping another bubble as she entered the fray to a roar of some cheers. However, despite the warm reception, she moved on without a care in the world, as was her nature. Nora's relaxed poker face and lackadaisical attitude were some of her defining features. She was most often cool, calm, and composed. When she WASN'T appearing like she was bored, she was either having the time of her life in a fight with a wicked smile on her face or silently enraged after being pushed to the point of being pissed off that she couldn't enjoy herself anymore. However, this time around, she was feeling excitement underneath her usual poker face. This Apex nonsense was all about qualifying to build yourself up for a shot at a new title...qualifying early scores you a chance at that title down the line, so people trying to sign up for this HAD to be looking for a fight. On top of that, it was just something to advance her career, and being the powerhouse upstart she was, the idea of getting her face out there didn't seem like a downside to Nora.

She walks down to the ring with a commanding presence with each step she takes, generating a bit of awe from the audience until she takes a massive leap up to the top of the apron, showing off a bit by playing to the crowd and then finally slipping through the ropes into the ring.

The fun, poppy beat of So Far by Feed the Biirds rang through the arena as a kaleidoscope of lights and colors flashed as none other than Sunny Soule came out onto the stage, dancing and rocking her thin, fit body in a lackadaisical motion. The laid-back performer was always looking for a fun time, and was thrilled to get another chance in the ring to show off and share her positive vibes with the crowd. By the time the chorus kicked in, Sunny led the crowd in jumping up and down excitedly, a big smile on her beautiful face as she made her way around the ring, giving a wink and a flirty wave to her opponent.

Then, Soule proceeded to dive backwards into a crowd of fans, still grooving and shaking her body to the beat with a huge smile on her face. Eventually, she hopped out at the advisement of security before sliding into the ring and popping to her knees, dancing her way up to a standing position again, sticking her tongue out playfully to her opponent, Nora Bowers, before slowly boogie-ing herself back into her corner as her music stopped. At the very least, Sunny seemed to be having a great time before the match began.

Then, Sunny stepped out of her corner, grinning as she called out, "Suuuup babe? Cute little outfit you got there. Digging the pink." She preened happily as she ran a hand through her beautiful blonde hair, casually waiting on her end of the ring before turning and facing the crowd, leaning her arms on the top rope and her chin on those arms, bobbing her head lightly to a song that wasn't there. It was all good vibes for Sunny Soule as this match was about to get underway.

Nora smirked upon seeing her opponent, she spent a good couple of moments checking her out from head to toe. The dark-skinned woman popped another bubble, pausing her series of chews to give a nice, hard stare at Sunny's beautiful figure, sending a wolf whistle her way before responding fully. "Hey yourself good looking..." She responded, walking up to Sunny, ignoring the referee, and coming face to face with her opponent. She looked deep into the woman's gaze, her unchanging casual poker face staring against Sunny's chill and laidback vibes. "You look like you're not all here at the moment, are all the lights on upstairs?...Eh, whatever...it's no skin off my back." She said. "Just don't act surprised when I'm pounding you into the canvas. I came here to fight, so the worst thing you can do is bore me." She said, cracking her knuckles. "You ain't boring...are you?" She asked, cocking one eyebrow with a gallant smirk.

Sunny Soule continued to bob her head with a relaxed smile on her face as she turned around, looking to face Nora as she approached her. She continued to nod as Bowers was speaking to her. Just smiling away as she spoke. But then her opponent seemed to be expecting an answer, with her raised eyebrow and smirk. Sunny shook her head abruptly and then asked simply, "What?" She had missed virtually everything Nora had said while she was in a haze in her own little world.

Then, she just sort of made a guess, grinning at Bowers and said, "Oh, yeah. I'm like, ready too if you are." The Breezy Blonde then offered a thumbs up, signaling she was ready to start the match.

Nora could CLEARLY see that her opponent was the air-headed type. Aloof and in some hazy stupor that just left them floating above everything like it was all a dream. Sunny was acting as if she had just gotten up from a nap...Calm, cool, and collected, but still slightly sleepy. If Nora didn't know any better, she would've guessed that the woman was about to yawn due to exhaustion. Despite recognizing all of these signs, she didn't pay any mind to them by calling Sunny out. It didn't matter if her opponent was wide awake or running on one hour of sleep and a dozen cups of coffee...if they weren't ready, Nora would smash 'em like all the rest.


DING DING DING!!!


Once the bell had run, Nora shot forward like a bullet leaving the chamber of a gun after being fired. She darts forward and aims to bulldoze Sunny right in the chest with a Shoulder Block. If Sunny was feeling sleepy, this would surely wake her right up upon impact.

Sunny Soule was feeling good about this match, rolling her neck slightly. There was nothing about her that was tired at all. She had gotten as much sleep as she needed, been ready going into this match. She was just laid back to the point that she barely paid attention unless it was necessary. Heaving a sigh, Soule heard the bell ring, and then immediately saw Nora charge at her.

Her shoulder collided with the Breezy Blonde and she landed on the mat hard. Rolling her eyes back to keep her focus on Nora, after a couple moments, she sprung back up with a kip up, rubbing the back of her neck. "Dude, that was like, totally too aggressive out the front," said Sunny, giving an almost judgmental look at Nora for not keeping things as chill as she may have wanted. She turned to face her, not outwardly coming at her, but definitely more ready to face off against her stronger opponent now.

After slamming into the woman and knocking her down, Nora admires her handiwork for a moment, being cheered on by the crowd for such an explosive opening attack that set the pace of this match quite soundly. However, much to her surprise, her opponent hopped back up to her feet...impressing the bubblegum-chewing badass partially as she popped a bubble in response, cocking one eyebrow in curiosity after Sunny's statement. "Figured I'd give you a proper wake-up call. What, did I ruin your beauty sleep or something?" Nora fired back, smirking with a mocking level of confidence and swagger before walking around Sunny. She moves in slowly this time, shuffling around the ring and then POUNCING forward to snatch the breezy blonde up into a grapple, aiming to overwhelm her and overtake the woman by using her superior strength to forcefully transition into a Side Headlock where she could manipulate and drag Sunny around.

Sunny raised her eyebrows as Nora was walking around her, not sure what she was doing or what she was even talking about. "...Dude, what? I'm not like, sleeping standing up or anything... Not for like, lack of trying. I'll get there..." rambled the Breezy Blonde, not paying much mind to Nora's pacing around her until she was snatched in a headlock. Bowers would have found it easier than expected. The Hawaiian grunted when she was put in the hold, wincing from it as it was tightened.

"Dude... Maybe chill for a second..." muttered Sunny, trying to moderately search for a weakness in the hold, but not finding much of one, making her sigh in annoyance. With very few options, Soule would instead suck in a deep breath and then attempt to kick Nora in the back of the knee in an attempt to get her to lose her leverage on the hold, which could allow her an escape.

Sunny's words fall on deaf ears as Nora continues to wrangle her around like cattle, gripping her neck tightly between her arm. She wasn't expecting this to be so easy, but she was all too eager to capitalize on this moment to care. If this is how things were going to play out, then Nora would derive some fun out of the situation by bashing Sunny around before laying her out. However, she starts to feel a stark pain shooting through the back of her leg. To compensate, she shifts the position of the Headlock around. Now in front of the breezy blonde, the bubblegum-chewing punk attempts to hit her with a Headlock Fisherman Suplex, attempting to go for an early pin.

Sunny had landed a kick onto the inside of Nora's knee, but it didn't seem to have much of an effect. Still, she wriggled in that headlock and continued to try pulling her head out of it before she felt one of her slender but strong legs being grabbed. Making a face for a brief moment, Soule was then thrown up and over into a Headlock Fisherman Suplex. The Breezy Blonde landed hard onto the mat, letting out a grunt of pain on impact. However, Bowers also seemed like she was holding her down for a pin, as the referee began counting.

"ONE!"

The One With The Sun immediately kicked out, wincing slightly and then shrugging her shoulders. "Dude... what was that?" asked Soule, clearly unimpressed with the early attempt at a pin. She certainly hadn't been worn down enough to even have a chance of not kicking out of that pinfall.
