Apex Qualifier Standard Match: Winner determined by pinfall, submission, or knockout. Match will count towards both characters number of required qualifier matches.
Sheena took a deep breath backstage as she prepared for her next apex qualifier. The last one she was in was...difficult for reasons she wished were only physical. However she was actually looking forward to this next one if what she was reading about her opponent was accurate. Akari Ito, the 'Sea Turtle.' Seemed like a pretty good natured person and competitor, no tricks or mind games, no heelish moves, just someone Sheena could have an honest match with which she was looking forward too. Wearing her usual purple gear and black wrestling boots Sheena sighed. 'Really need new gear... I look like a young lioness.' Sheena thought to herself as she walked to the entrance ramp where she received her que to make her entrance. Spoiler
Sighing to herself as she did so Sheena would hold her head up high as the techno like music of her entrance song started up before walking out, placing a hand on her hip as she looked out at the crowd, a soft smile present on her face as she did so. Looking ready and confident now that she was in front of everyone and was reminded about how important this match would be for her. Spoiler
Walking down the ramp Sheena would keep a measured pace, looking ready for what was too come as she focused on the ring. This was it, this match would be massively important, even if she would qualify for Apex win or lose.... But Sheena still really wanted to win. So entering the ring Sheena would hop onto the corner and pose for the crowd who cheered in response before Sheena hopped off and leaned against the corner, looking up in preparation for her opponent to come down.
"...Entering the ring, hailing from Tokyo, Japan...she's the most marvelous DJ, Dancer, and Wrestler in the entire ocean and she's here to make her name known all across LAW...Akari Ito!!! The Seeeeaaaaaa Turtle!!!"
With her music blaring and booming, she hyped up the crowd of spectators with one helluva entrance show as the lights flashed and the announcer called her down. She stood at the top of the stage, dancing and grooving to the rhythm of her music as she made her way down the ramp in a beeline toward the ring. Akari was giving the crowd and her opponent quite the show as she was a shining, shimmering, splendid spectacle. She twirled around and dazzled audience members, tossing tons of glow sticks out into the crowd and giving as many people as she could high fives as she stepped up to the apron, gripping the top ropes, and LEAPING over it. She lands in the ring and the lights slowly fade back on, she was striking a cool pose and looking like quite the star before removing her headphones and jacket, looking toward Sheena and smiling.
"Nice to meet you!!! Akari Ito, Sea Turtle...hope you're ready, 'cuz I'm prepared to give you QUITE the ass-kicking." She said, smiling with a warm yet competitive attitude before she stepped toward her own corner, awaiting the bell to ring so the match could start.

Sheena would look up as the bright and colorful music and spectacle that was her opponent's entrance music started up. 'She definitely likes to make it known she's here. Thats for sure.' Sheena thought to herself as Akari herself finally came out from the entrance ramp. Lively as all the tapes and hear say she had heard Sheena would nod to herself as she watched the Sea Turtle walk, or rather dance her way to the ring. Comparatively her entrance to Sheena's own was completely opposite with Sheena's being far more subdued and calm than Akari's own more lively and jubilant entrance.
Still though Sheena wouldn't say she was disappointed. Quite the contrary in fact, it was definitely the kind of opponent that Sheena would want for her final apex qualifier, and as the girl leaped into the ring, displaying her pure athleticism Sheena knew it would be a good match. Hearing the confident words from the green clad girl Sheena would chuckle softly as she met Akari's gaze with her own. "Nice to meet you too, but I wouldn't count on any ass getting kicked but yours." Sheena shot back competitively but in a good natured tone. Showing that Sheena wanted to win, but not make an enemy out of her opponent. Either way the moment the bell would ring Sheena would drop down into a grappling stance, arms up and legs bent as she darted forward to try and catch Akari in a lock up!
Sheena wouldn't have to try too hard to catch Akari, because the girl made a rush straight for Sheena as well!!! The two come into contact and clash within the ring, dead center in the middle of the squared circle as Akari positions herself for a Collar-and-Elbow Lock-Up, vying for control early on as she struggles against Sheena, trying to maneuver her way to victory as she constantly shifts her movements, trying to find any way she can overpower Sheena and gain the upper hand early on this match to build some moment.

Immediately Akari seemed to be on the same wavelength as Sheena as the girl darted forward, meeting Sheena head on as the two locked up, grappling and shoving against one another with grunts of effort and resistance as the jockeyed and pushed against one another, looking for an advantage. 'Pretty good grappling. Lets try this.' Sheena thought to herself as she swung her knee up in a effort to catch her opponent with a blow to the gut. If it worked than Sheena would shift her grip to bring Akari forward, her hands come to a rest over the sea turtles head for a muay thai clinch! Something that if Sheena were successful with she'd use to try and send more knee strikes up against her opponent's gut!
"Gh-!!" Akari let out a grunt from the knee strike, a slight wheeze escaping from her lips as she was transitioned into a Muay Thai-styled clinch, feeling Sheena's grip tug her head down. She wasn't going to just let herself be bullied into whatever Sheena desired. She let her arms fall to her side, blocking an incoming knee with the palm of her hand, and quickly rebounding back into the fray as she responded to the blocked knee strike with a volley of punches aimed at Sheena's body. She used her free hand to pummel Sheena's ribs as best as she could, using her experience in boxing to deliver a number of hooks as she wound up her fist and sent it into her opponent's midsection.

Off the bat Sheena had managed to land the first blow of the match with that knee to Akari's stomach. As such Sheena would then try to follow up by pulling Akari's head into a muay thai clinch, opening her up for further knee strikes against the green haired girl's abs. However when she tried too Sheena's eyes would widen feeling her next knee strike blocked. 'Shit.' Sheena thought before she was suddenly met with a barrage of punches to her gut! "Aghhhh!" Gasped in pain immediately dropping the clinch and falling to her knees, holding her stomach in pain and coughing in the wake of Akari's punches.
Akari quickly grabbed hold of Sheena's head, trying to pull her back up just enough to get her into position as she would quickly take a step back and then jump up and over Sheena's body, landing on her backside while she was still bent over, and gripping her tight with her legs. If all went according to Akari's impromptu plan to follow up with an attack, Akari would lean forward in order to flip over Sheena and use the momentum to SLAM the woman headfirst onto the canvas for a Code Red. If the move was successful, Akari would keep Sheena folded over for a pin attempt, pressing the side of her face into Sheena's thighs and butt, admittedly to check the woman's curves out...because, in all honesty, Sheena did have a pretty sexy figure TO BE FAIR.

Sheena was groaning and in pain from the barrage of punches that had landed against her stomach. 'So that boxing background was legit. gonna have to keep my distance from here on out.' Sheena thought to herself between groans of pain as she felt her head grabbed and pulled up before a sudden weight dropping on her back nearly caused Sheena to buckle and fall back down to the mat.
But instead she felt her body turned upside down with the momentum of her opponent as within moments Sheena was taken off her feet and SLAMMED into the mat with a code red! "Agh!" Crying out in pain Sheena groaned softly as she laid her head back... only to quirk back up when she felt the ref drop down next to them and start a pin count... though she also blushed at the feeling pressing up against her backside. So with a fierce blush Sheena would kick out with her legs, attempting to push Akari away while turning on her side to escape just before the two count!
Akari was knocked off of Sheena's backside, the kick-out breaking the pin and forcing the Sea Turtle to back up and reset into her grappling stance. Though, she took notice of Sheena's slight blush, smiling and brushing her hair back. "Whoops~...didn't mean to feel you up there~...I just wanted to keep you folded over and held down. Although I must say, you have QUITE the lovely assortment of assets~" She teased, blowing her a little kiss before giving Sheena time to react and recover before she would offer up another lock up, this time in the form of a Test of Strength.
