Thereisa Niedermeyer vs Yuki Kazikura
It's only fitting that Thereisa would find herself backstage, after making her intentions known about winning the Open-weight title. But to make everything come full circle is her opponent for the night, some lightweight named Yuki Kazikura who was a former number one contender for the title before that little blond demon defeated her and ran ragged after winning the belt from the former champion Aoi.
That is one of the reasons why she needs to win that title... only then would Dan think of putting a match together between his prime money wrestler against someone like her... who is looking for revenge after what she did to her daughter, so taking a small measure of revenge against someone in Rose's division will be a small form of satisfaction in her eyes. Music plays as she struts her way on stage spreading her arms out wide embracing the cheers from the crowd, who are hoping that she would make due on her promise of winning the whole thing but till then they cheer and chant her name eager to see this match up since they do recall Thereisa lightweight bounty.
Sliding into the ring, she stretches by crossing her arm around her neck, feeling the small stinging pain from injures that she suffered against that middleweight... but she is determined to not let that stop her from winning tonight. 'Alright Yuki... I win this match and be one step closer to my goals.'

Re: Thereisa Niedermeyer vs Yuki Kazikura
Yuki, too, had a lot riding on this match.
It wasn't just about the title. Yuki would be remiss to say that the prospect of going on to be a contender for the World Openweight Championship wasn't a lofty goal in and of itself - but for her, that would mean so much more.
All through her two years in the indies, the Dynamite Schoolgirl had proven herself to be a natural when it came to wrestling, quickly rising to the top and taking down even opponents with more experience than her. The press, and the eyes of wrestling fans in her hometown and beyond, quickly caught wind of her incredible success story, and with her star on the rise, it wasn't long until she made her way to the big leagues, joining LAW on her eighteenth birthday. While she won some and lost some at first, it wasn't long before she, too, climbed to the top of the main event scene. For a while, it seemed, she was in a good spot.
But ever since losing a brutal barbed wire deathmatch to Amano Jaku, Yuki began to question her place in the promotion. Not just because she'd lost, but because she had gone further than she ever had before when it came to letting her emotions rule her. She came away changed from that match, afraid of ever slipping into the same frame of mind again. But Yuki's luck took a turn for the worse, with an unexpected and devastating first-round elimination from the Lightweight Classic leaving her questioning her place in the company, and even when she tried branching out in both a keijo match and a no-DQ match, neither brought her much success.
Now, though...things were different. With Apex on the horizon, and Yuki returning to the company after some time off to heal and to train, it was high time to make a change. The greatest prize in LAW's history was now on the table - and if Yuki was to prove she could stand a chance in this company, there was no bigger opportunity to put herself to the test.
Yuki's music brought with it a burst of cheers as the girl emerged on the top of the entrance ramp, holding up one fist in triumph as she made her way down to the ring. Her gaze was fixed forward, never straying far from the woman already inside, and she made measured and determined strides. When she got there, she stopped to stare up defiantly at Theresia from outside the ring, before she grabbed the ropes to lift herself up and slipped inside. She knew her opponent had a fearsome reputation - but that would only make it so much more meaningful if she could take her down.

Re: Thereisa Niedermeyer vs Yuki Kazikura
Thereisa has her eyes closed. Mentally focusing on what she has to do to win the match. She looked up her opponent and even saw some girl big matches before she went got some time off to heal and recover from some brutal matches, so seeing Yuki show up for this just means that a lot of big name wrestlers are gunning for this title belt.
Seeing that defiant look in the other woman's eyes just sends the message that tonight match is going to be a hard battle no matter the difference between the both of them, but everyone knows who should win the match up between a true heavyweight and a lightweight. Walking out of her corner and standing in the middle of the ring, 'I have seen your matches, Yuki... I will give you one chance to leave the ring and surrender this match.' Said Thereisa, who crosses her arms, looking at the smaller woman.
Not to be disrespectful, but not wanting to beat the younger woman and bring out some moves that would cause the fans to look at her as a heel again, since many still remember the hit she put out on lightweights due to the champion causing problems and such. 'If not, I won't be blamed for crushing your hope and pride in the middle of this ring.
So take my advice... walk away and fight another day.' as she turns and walks back to her corner after saying her piece. Whatever happens next, she will not be at fault since she made the offer to Yuki, depends on if the younger woman took it or not. Waiting for the bell to ring since she is eager to come out and put on a good showing, knowing that it is her night to shine and make a statement for the Apex event.

Re: Thereisa Niedermeyer vs Yuki Kazikura
Most wrestlers, when staring down an opponent that so eclipsed them in size, would feel intimidated - even if the foe they were met with wasn't a veteran and former champion with a well-earned reputation for breaking her opponents' necks. But Yuki didn't want to be intimidated. From the moment she put herself up to the challenge of fighting for the Openweight Title, she swore that she was going to be better than that - stronger than anyone, even her greatest fans, would ever think she was. This was her chance to prove herself as a competitor worth being taken seriously, to be worthy of her position at the top of the card. Yuki knew exactly what she was getting into - and she was confident she was ready for it.
The girl crossed her arms, looking up to lock her eyes on Theresia. The cold, focused glare on her face never changed, not even when she had to turn her head up to meet her face to face. As Theresia walked to the center of the ring, Yuki walked up to meet her. She moved her hands to her hips and stood with her feet apart, not flinching even a single muscle. She wouldn't let anyone believe she had any regrets about what she was doing.
To Theresia's words, Yuki shook her head. "No. I'm not stopping now," she explained, her voice calm and measured. "And believe me, that won't happen. My dreams have already been realized. Just to be in this ring at all, to be considered for the highest honor, is an accomplishment enough - and I fully intend to go even further beyond."
When Theresia turned, Yuki stood still, remaining where she was. She wouldn't be moved. Even just going back to her corner meant turning her back on the heavyweight, and symbolically, Yuki wanted to send a message that she would never step down. But as the veteran returned to the corner...suddenly, she heard a burst of cheers ring out from the fans. Looking in the direction of the noise, she would see why. There was one more woman who needed to make her entrance.
Taking to the judges' table this evening would be none other than Astrid Ostberg - an accomplished wrestler in her own right, and one who had brought plenty of prestige and attention to the LAW Heavyweight Championship through her defenses across Europe. Although she was still young, Astrid had the sort of credentials that made her a perfect choice to put her front and center at the table, facing the action directly across from the hard camera. She was beautiful, she was an established star, she brought attention to the event - and, for this night in particular, she was someone who had defeated Theresia before. Though Theresia had supposedly turned over a new leaf, many inside LAW and out were suspicious of her true intentions, and there was an unspoken but understood agreement that Astrid would keep an eye on her for anything funny.
"Thank you, thank you!" Astrid waved to her fans as she met their cheers. "You're all too kind." With that, she proceeded to her seat at the judges' table, the other judges moving aside for her - and once there, she looked up at Theresia, folding her hands before her. "Ms. Niedermeyer. Long time, no see, yeah?"

Re: Thereisa Niedermeyer vs Yuki Kazikura
Thereisa would nod her head after hearing Yuki say that she is not backing down from this match. A small bit of respect is earned by her younger opponent after that passionate saying about being in the ring, She even decides to wrestle her opponent fair since she was moved by Yuki speech, but it will not stop her from winning tonight match as she was confident in her own skills against the smaller lightweight wrestler, but all of that goes out the window when the music blares over the speakers and the one woman who Thereisa hates more makes her way out on stage.
A look of pure annoyance and anger is on her face seeing Astrid make her way out to go to the judge's table, even having the nerve to make a little snide comment about them and their past match between the two of them that ended in a defeated for her that she had recovered somewhat from. But now she is a changed woman and feels that as a baby face she should be a contender for the new title... now she not so sure as there is no reason for Astrid to be out here unless the people at the top are trying to keep an eye on her and the bad blood between her and lightweights after the beating her daughter took from the champion.
Turning to the ref with her arms crossed... 'So any reason why she is out here... unless it is to just keep an eye on me and make sure I don't try and break Yuki neck, huh.' she asks with attitude in her voice. 'They're not going to screw me out of this... Since if that how you both want to play that game with me, then I do a lot worse... you all just gave me the perfect plan to make your champion look like a fool.' she thinks to herself as she doesn't give a reply to Astrid, her focus back on Yuki as the bell rings in the background. Wanting to play up her new change in front of everyone... Thereisa would walk up and hold out her hand going in for a handshake, but her eyes are not on Yuki they are staring daggers at the woman at the judge's table, a smirk on her face knowing that management has given her all she needs to come out looking like a true face after tonight.

Re: Thereisa Niedermeyer vs Yuki Kazikura
The matchup was bound to draw many journalists to note its contrasts. A young prodigy going up against a seasoned veteran. The classic David-and-Goliath comparison of a lightweight against a heavyweight. A calculating tactician against a brutal sadist. And yet, when the Heavyweight Champion entered the arena, all eyes were drawn to a woman who wasn't even in the match - especially those in the ring. Even if Theresia had wanted to turn over a new leaf, the disain on her face when Astrid took to the stage was evident. Even if she was trying to clean up her act, she was slower to forgive the Norsewoman.
Confronted by Theresia, the ref girl raised her arms, backing away from the heavyweight's threats as a nervous chuckle left her throat. "J-Just to assess your performance in this match, ma'am. And that goes for Kazikura-san as well."
The tension in the ring was palpable, even before the match had begun. Something was weighing heavily on Theresia's mind, and everyone could feel it. As the heavyweight turned back to face her opponent, Yuki stepped closer, looking up to Theresia with a serious look on her face. She extended her hand, taking Theresia's with a shake, but by no means was she going to let down her guard. And neither was Astrid, who folded her hands over the table, never taking them off the woman who had once challenged her for a title. Was Theresia truly showing respect, she thought? Or was she just being especially conspicuous when she knew she was being watched? Only time could tell...
At last, Yuki broke away from the handshake, taking a few steps back to look Theresia in the eye with a focused stare. "I'm ready," she said, her fists tightening at her sides. And soon enough, it was time for the match to begin.

Re: Thereisa Niedermeyer vs Yuki Kazikura
Thereisa is furious at everybody right now. She is upset that management had the nerve to say they wanted to watch her performance in the ring, or the facts there are a lot of journalists in the crowd watching this match.
'Kind of fitting they do all of this for me... I swear if she thinks of screwing me out of this victory... I will leave and crush your father's neck I know where that bastard lives.' Thereisa would think to herself as the bell rings in the background.
As soon as she heard that bell ring... She knows what she is going to do. As Thereisa is already raising her leg going for a regular roundhouse kick at Yuki side, she wants to break the younger woman... But in a way that sends that message to everyone that she will be the biggest threat to come home with the belt.

Re: Thereisa Niedermeyer vs Yuki Kazikura
From the moment the bell rang, Yuki stood at the ready. She knew that if she wanted to stand a chance in this match, she would need to stay on her toes - Theresia had a considerable size advantage on the young lightweight, and while Yuki's speed and agility often carried her through matches with comparatively-sized opponents, she was sure that even a single wrong move against a much larger powerhouse could spell disaster. She was going to have to adjust her course of action accordingly - but, as she stared her opponent down, her fists squeezing tighter at her sides, she was ready for that. Theresia's leg swung overhead, but just before it could hit, Yuki ducked low, attempting to swerve underneath her roundhouse kick!
If Yuki couldn't take Theresia's attacks head-on, she told herself, she was best served dodging them and working her way around them. Luckily, she was sure her smaller size would help her outmanuever her foe. As Theresia came to a halt, Yuki hoped that the missed kick would throw her off balance for a few seconds, enough for Yuki to strike while her back was turned. If that was the case, she would come charging after her, looking to jump up to throw her feet against her spine with a dropkick!

Re: Thereisa Niedermeyer vs Yuki Kazikura
Coming out strong would have been the best option for Thereisa during this match. In reality, a heavyweight would easily toss someone from a lower weight class like a lightweight wrestler around like a toy. But in wrestling sometimes the smaller wrestler can out-speed the taller slower wrestler before pulling off the big upset for the victory. To some it may seem like a fairy tail battle that would end in the heroine or in Yuki's case a victory over the taller woman, to the roar of the crowd, and in the presence of the heavyweight champion... Well, not in her book is it going to happen.
As her kick missed due to Yuki ducking at the right moment to avoid having her head kicked off, as soon as her foot touched the canvas after missing stumbling forward a bit before finding her balance to turn and go after her smaller opponent. Before she could get the chance to turn, an impact slams into her back, sending her stumbling forward into the ring ropes before bouncing off of them and falling to the canvas on her back.

Re: Thereisa Niedermeyer vs Yuki Kazikura
Yuki knew she was up against insurmountable odds. She tightened her fists and sucked in a breath as she looked up at her opponent's looming form, her shadow seeming to fall long over her like the peak of a distant mountain. But the taller the mountain was, the more satisfying it would be to climb it. Yuki might have been dwarfed by both her opponent's size and her accomplishments, but she was undeterred. If she could stand up to Theresia, then there was no question that she deserved her place in the running for the Openweight Championship - and Yuki wouldn't be satisfied if she came away from this match without proving that was where she belonged.
Her survival instincts kicking in, the Japanese girl managed to duck under the incoming roundhouse kick, leaving Theresia spinning around in place. As soon as her back was turned, that was when Yuki knew she needed to strike - and when she struck, she wanted to strike hard, jumping up and driving the soles of her boots against the veteran's back!
Against the force of the blow, Thereisa went stumbling forward, the momentum pushing her into the ropes. They stretched against her weight before springing her onto her back, the canvas rippling from the impact. As she rolled to her feet and caught her breath, Yuki bent lower and spread her legs apart, distributing her weight in order to weather the quakes and stay upright. But she also knew that this, too, presented her with an opportunity, now that Theresia was down. And Yuki was eager to seize on that.
With a hurried step, Yuki doubled backward, going to the ropes behind her and climbing up to the middle one. If she could get there, she would jump off and hurl herself toward where Theresia lay prone, drawing back her fists to slam them into the veteran with a double axe handle as she descended on her!
