Another match to look forward to, and Chigusa Yuuki was pumped to enter the ring to show her stuff to everyone. The Valkyrie made her entrance as her music was played, the crowd cheering for the former Wrestle Angel. She raised her arms as she made her way to the ring where she would be facing her opponent for tonight, Lyra Heartfield.

Once she arrived at the ring, Chigusa posed for the crowd some more before she slipped into the squared circle, bouncy on her feet. Doing some light stretches first, Chigusa would then wait for her opponent to show up. She had a confident look on her face, thinking that she could make a name for herself in this match as well as qualifying herself for the Apex event.

Lyra came out as she put her hands together and bowed to the Japanese crowd as she came down with green pyro coming from the stage. She was ready for her second Apex qualifier, but her mentor would not be joining her this time as she wanted to handle this with the universe alone. Lyra waved to the crowd and slid into the ring before coming to the middle bowing respectfully to her opponent as is customary. Lyra then nodded to the ref taking off her pink dress and laying it on the corner before rolling up her sleeves. Lyra then stood in her corner leaning on the pad and closed her eyes chanting to the universe.

Chigusa watched her opponent making her entrance. Well, she looked mysterious, so there's that. She would wait for the other woman, Lyra, to join her in the ring. She didn't know much about her, though whoever she was, Chigusa was planning to defeat her and get herself a win.

Soon enough, the referee called for both women to the center of the ring. Stepping away from the corner, Chigusa would face her opponent. Soon, the bell was rung, and it was time to wrestle.

To start off the match, Chigusa wanted to test her opponent's strength by offering her a test of strength, holding out her hands. She wanted to see how strong her opponent first before she could come up with her moves.

Lyra came forward as the bell rang and her opponent settled into her position with her arms outstretched. Lyra calmly took her hands pushing against Chigusa and tried directing her back into a corner. Her vision on how this match was supposed to go starting out was pulling her over to a corner, but her opponent would slip out with a reverse.

Feeling the push from Lyra, Chigusa had decided to try a little trick where she would guide her opponent to push her towards the nearest corner. She would make sure to feign having to exert effort as she was pushed back as she waited for the right moment to spring up her trap.

When they were getting closer, Chigusa would quickly try to reverse their positions, with Lyra taking her pace and vice versa. From there, she would try to push Lyra towards the corner, pressing her there and keeping her under pressure in order to gain an upper hand over her in this match.

Lyra saw it happen before her eyes seeing her opponent switch places with her getting her in the corner. Chigusa pressed Lyra tightly into the pad, but Lyra stepped up to the middle rope holding one hand of Chigusa’s as she started walking the top rope Undertaker-style. Lyra would balance herself walking to the middle before jumping off taking Chigusa with her hitting a Old School Japanese Arm Drag!

Having pushed Lyra at the corner, Chigusa kept pressing herself against her, but it seemed that Lyra had another thing in her mind as she stepped up onto the middle rope while holding Chigusa's hand. Seeing Lyra doing a rope walk, Chigusa tried to adjust her plan, but it was too late as she was brought down onto the mat with an old school Japanese arm drag!

"NGHH!!"

Hitting the mat, Chigusa would try to immediately pick herself up. A little disoriented, she shook her head as she would look at the direction of her opponent. At the moment, Lyra was the one holding the upper hand.

Lyra then saw Chigusa getting up after hitting her arm drag as she ran for her opponent going for a few clotheslines hitting three in succession before picking up Chigusa for a Spinebuster.

Chigusa saw her opponent coming, and she was struck by her clothesline, knocking her down. She quickly picked herself up, grunting, though she took another clothesline. Wincing, she would try to get herself up, only to take the third one, which brought her down onto the mat.

When Lyra tried to use spinebuster on her, however, Chigusa would try to hit her right in her face, preventing herself from being lifted up and slammed down, though she was still reeling from all those clothesline earlier.

Lyra tried to lift her opponent up, but Chigusa would punch Lyra off her as the fortune teller went into a corner holding her mouth, but saw her opponent was still reeling after receiving a number of clotheslines.
