The minor league GOAT? What a failure of an accolade. The minor leagues are just that: minor. There is no pride to be had when the competition you face is below average or even weak. And yet here was an older woman, celebrating her previous years of dominating inexperienced and pathetic talent. And now, because she did well versus that talent, she thought she could just come back in and dominate in the major leagues. Well, unfortunately, she had another thing coming, especially going up against a woman who had both feasted similarly on minor league talent, but also some of the top names in LAW.
Kathleen Hendricks.
Kathleen's LAW career was still young, still early, and yet she already had accolades that most could only dream of. Victories over some of the top talent in LAW, a main card PPV match in her first opportunity to get on and now, as Apex came along, a chance to win the ultimate championship in the company. Cynthia wasn't in the tournament-- she was only in this match because Kathleen wanted an opponent and she accepted-- so she was merely fighting because she
wanted to. But the QoD was fighting for a whole lot more. A chance to don her crown and show the whole world who the Queen of Domination was.
Making her way down to the ramp, the crowd showered her in boos; something she had grown accustomed to. Her eyes merely remained locked on her opponent for tonight, another imposing heavyweight she'd have to crush. Yuki, Alaina, Thereisa, Ayame, and now Cynthia. One could almost call Kathleen a giant slayer, and all th blonde could hope to do is break that streak, as the middleweight entered the ring and cracked her wrists, awaiting the ring of the bell.
