Misaki Toyoda vs. Tiki Lowell - Apex Qualifier Match

It seemed that Tiki managed to stop herself from being put into a pinfall. And with Misaki's leg still held by Tiki in the stretch, Misaki seemed to be in quite a disadvantage at the moment. Grunting, she decided that she needed her leg freed first by kicking her legs, hoping that Tiki would lose her grip on it.

Right after that, Misaki decided that she might as well let go of Tiki and think of another plan. So, she would let go of her head before rolling herself off of her. They only got ten minutes here in this match, and the clock was ticking. She needed to be the one to get a fall first in order to gain an upper hand over the other woman.

Even if Tiki was only barely able to do it, she was still managing to stifle Misaki's attack while managing to deal some damage of her own. It seemed like the Berserk Ace recognized this as well and started to disengage. She broke the tenuous hold that Tiki had on her leg and rolled off of the veteran's body. Not wanting to tempt fate, Tiki chose to let Misaki retreat instead of trying to press her.

Both women stood back up, and a quick glance at the clock showed that a bit over a minute had passed so far in the match. It was clear to Tiki, who thought that it would likely also be clear to Misaki, that neither woman would lose a point easily. Points would have to be grinded for, truly earned. So much so that Tiki thought it likely that the first point in this match may very likely end up as the only point.

Breathing in, breathing out. Misaki got herself up onto her feet while keeping her eyes on Tiki. After giving a quick glance at the clock, she focused back on Tiki as she would get into position, preparing herself to tangle with Tiki once more.

Then, she closed in, seemingly going for a lock up. But the moment one of her hands touched Tiki's, she would quickly try to slip back, moving behind her opponent with her back touching hers as she would hook her arm with Tiki's before doing the same to her other arm. From there, she would throw herself forward, lifting Tiki off the mat while having her arms hooked with hers so that she could go for a backslide pin, her shoulders pressing against the mat.

Tiki took a moment to see if Misaki would make the aggressive start again, and the pink clad wrestler did in fact go in once more. Looks like she does want to play the aggressor, thought Tiki, filing away that information for later. And though Misaki went back on the attack, she did not want another lockup with the woman who had already outmuscled her once. The Berserk Ace slid behind Tiki, back to back, and hooked one of her arms.

Hm? thought Tiki. This was certainly an unorthodox play by Misaki. Back to back maneuvers weren't usually seen in neutral position, generally reserved for when a wrestler already had an advantage. And barring Misaki having a trick that Tiki didn't see coming, the veteran was going to try to prove why that is; her feet are still grounded.

First, Tiki would stop Misaki from getting the double hook by pulling her free arm in across her body so her opponent couldn't reach far enough to get the hook. Then, Tiki would try to hook her leg around one of Misaki's and lift it up, and then lean back into the Berserk wrestler to trip her. And once that happened, Tiki would naturally fall down as well and land directly on top of Misaki.

Misaki's attempt to hook her arms failed when Tiki managed to foil her. And when Tiki hooked her leg around hers, she couldn't stop her in time, and she was then brought down onto the mat as she was tripped down.

Misaki then grunted when Tiki landed on top of her, but she wasn't going to let this put her in a backfoot as she would then roll herself, looking to throw Tiki off of her back. From there, she would then try to push herself up to get herself back up onto her feet.

Tiki successfully defended against Misaki's takedown/pin attempt, and was even able to land a small slam to the pink clad wrestler for her efforts. But still, even if on top, back to back was not an incredibly stable position. So Misaki was able to throw Tiki off of her back without too much trouble. But when they both got up, could was able to feel that she was in the lead. It was a small lead, that could be wiped with a single error. but a lead nonetheless.

Twice Misaki had gone on the offensive, and twice Tiki had been successful in repelling her. The greenette wanted to see if she could make this pattern continue. Berserk's ace would have to prove that she could cleanly break through Tiki's defenses before the veteran would be willing to commit to an attack of her own. Tiki wasn't expecting as solid or experience a wrestler as Misaki to make an error in over aggression or desperation that would leave her wide open, but if Tiki could just frustrate her by repeatedly repelling her attacks, it could prove a great boon for her.

Getting Tiki off of her, Misaki then picked herself up and got herself back up onto her feet, huffing a little. So far, her opponent had expertly countered each of her moves, though that was to be expected considering that they were still early in this match. Still, she needed to keep track of the time so that she wouldn't waste a lot of it because they were on a time limit.

Once Misaki was up, she would look at Tiki and wait for her to get herself back up as well. She was planning that once Tiki was on her way back up onto her feet, she would close in so that she could stun her with a toe kick right into her midsection, hoping to have her double over before her so that she could grab her head and put her in a front facelock.

Considering Tiki was allowing Misaki to have the initiative, it was to be expected that the Berserk Ace was soon on the attack once more. Considering how Misaki had gone for grappling attacks the first two times, Tiki was not expecting the strike that came the third time. Misaki's kick just managed to slip through and catch the green haired wrestler cleanly in her belly.

"Urk!" Tiki grunted as she took the blow. But she was not so frail as to be made to double over by a single blow. So when Misaki came forward to try to grab Tiki's head, it wouldn't be there for her to take. Instead, the two would be in an extremely close quarters situation. Tiki wanted to go for the fastest option possible, but with the distance between the two wrestlers being as small as it was, something like a light jab would be ineffective. Too easy to just tank through. So Tiki would throw her arms around Misaki's back and start trying to squeeze for a bearhug.

Kicking at Tiki's belly, hoping to make her double over in front of her, Misaki then tried to catch her head so that she could put her into a front facelock. But instead of capturing her opponent's head, she was caught in a bearhug by Tiki. "Nnnhhh!!" She winced as her body was captured by her opponent, and when Tiki started squeezing her, she gritted her teeth, grunting as she felt the pressure from the squeeze.

"NNGHHH!!"

For the time being, Misaki would remain in Tiki's arms, enduring the bearhug as she would try to keep her feet grounded on the mat. For now, she would try to think of a way to escape this. Due to the fact that there was a time limit, she needed to be quick on figuring out of what to do so that she could emerge victorious over her opponent.

Tiki's counterattack succeeded, as she was able to take advantage of Misaki expecting her kick to do more damage than it actually would. The greenette was able to lock her arms around the Berserk Ace's back as she locked in a bearhug. The two wrestler's bountiful breasts mashed together as Tiki squeezed their bodies together. "I can't remember the last time it took me this much work just to get off my first real attack," Tiki took advantage of her close proximity to Misaki to speak with her opponent. "I've gotten too used to opponent's folding to the first or second thing I try. I only wish now that we had more than ten minutes to fight, Misaki. Less, now."

As much as Tiki liked the current position she was in, she knew it wouldn't last. Because Misaki had her arms raised trying to grab Tiki, the greenette couldn't catch them as part of her bearhug. Meaning that Tiki needed to transition into something else quickly, or else Misaki would gladly strike back and take over the advantage. Tiki would slide one her arms down the Berserk Ace's body to the inside of her thigh and try to lift Misaki up onto her shoulders. If Tiki was able to do that, then she would bring her other hand up to Misaki's chin and start pulling down with both arms for a torture rack.
