Toshiko Ito vs. Lisbeth Carlsen (Apex Qualifier)

The lethal kicks of Toshiko Ito paid off with one more well-placed and violent shot to Lisbeth Carlsen's hurt knee. Her foe screamed out in pain, and the Twilight Edge knew full well she had managed to properly debilitate that limb entirely, leaving her as nothing more than a sitting duck for the Japanese Striker. Canting her head slightly, as if to let Carlsen know she knew the position she was in, but the look in her eyes made it very clear she wasn't about to show her any mercy. Toshiko would do what had to be done.

Reaching down to grab Lisbeth's collar, she pulled her up off the mat just enough. Then she pulled back her free hand, clenching it into a fist. Then, she threw two well-placed and measured strikes directly towards Carlsen's skull. They would be putting the exact amount of force and speed behind them to not knock her opponent out, but to simply stun her so she could finish her off. She knew precisely how to set her opponents up to be finished off. Training had taught her that much, especially in fights like these. She was ready to line Lisbeth Carlsen up to be defeated.

At that point, Lisbeth could not defend herself in any meaningful way. Her leg being put completely out of commission, the exhaustion and pain running through her body only grew as the realisation that it was it dawned on her. Still, definitely she would throw a punch at her opponent's midsection as she was lifted up. She knew it would do little to stop her foe though and as strikes came down, she would let out a grunt, falling half limp in her opponent's grasp.

Toshiko held onto Lisbeth, taking that punch to her midsection with just a small grunt. It didn't impede her two strikes to the head of her opponent. Ito stared down at her, practically into her as Carlsen fell mostly limp against her. She knew now that Lisbeth was ready to be finished off. And she wouldn't make it painless for her. Ito wouldn't prefer anyone do it painlessly for her, at the very least, so she paid that forward.

Taking a deep breath, Toshiko gave a brief nod to her opponent before setting up her final maneuver. She suddenly forced Lisbeth to her feet, knowing that her battered opponent likely wouldn't stay upright for long. Not waiting even a moment, Toshiko quickly spun and threw a spinning reverse roundhouse kick directly to the skull of Lisbeth Carlsen. With an absolutely cleaving strike, she aimed to knock Lisbeth out entirely with her completely vicious Twilight Grasp, ending the fight from her opponent.

Lisbeth was hardly aware of her surroundings and what was going in at this point. When she was forced up, her legs nearly held her up as it was, each moment threatening to give out from under her. Before it could happen, however, a kick from Toshiko took her clean off her feet as the sound of the impact echoed throughout the arena. Lisbeth was unconscious long before her body hit the floor, scattering on the ground in an uncoordinated tangle of limbs, completely unable to continue.

The Twilight Grasp connected with a loud crack, leaving Lisbeth Carlsen tumbling to the ground in a mess while Toshiko Ito stood over her, glancing around at the crowd and knowing full well that her opponent was knocked out from the incredible strike. It was one that never let Toshiko down, and had knocked out plenty of girls with it.

After letting it settle for a few moments, Toshiko dropped down, kneeling at the side of Lisbeth before placing both hands on top of her, staring forward with an intense, stoic glare.

"ONE!"

"TWO!"

"THREE!"

Instantly pushing back off of her unconscious opponent, Toshiko would stand up as her music played and she was declared the winner. Not paying Lisbeth another look, she allowed the referee to hold up her hand for a few moments before she pulled her arm away and left without much fanfare. She was victorious again, avenging her loss not too long ago. And Toshiko Ito had found her confidence once more and proven she was a force to be reckoned with.
