Haruka didn’t even know if her opponent was trying to get into Apex yet was now one of her 3 matches to qualify herself for the path to it. “With this and my match next week I’m still one short. I suppose I’ll be waiting on a call to fix that soon.” Haruka knew that it was putting her in a tight spot to get all these matches in the time she had. A test from Robin about getting more results the way she wants. Her entrance was short this time with Haruka coming out with a few smiles but made her way down quick. This couldn’t be good for her mind, letting her fear of Robin kill her chances for a win. Tonight was a good night. A night of learning about a new person and all the ways she could take her down and see what worked best. Research that was more important to her. That’s what she should be thinking about. Theodora deserved a good test from Haruka like everyone did. The nurse would give it to her and follow it with a win as well.

To be qualified to contend for the Openweight title, one must fight in a series of qualifier matches. Theodora herself knew that by winning these qualifiers, her chance to win the championship would increase. For this occasion, Theodora would be facing Haruka Le Roux in this qualifier match in addition to a few more. Regardless, Theodora aimed to win this match and increase her prestige, wanting to build herself up here in this promotion, LAW.

Wearing her signature red leotard, Theodora made her entrance, flipping her hair as she made her way down to the ring. She had no clue who this Haruka was, though whoever she was, Theodora was looking to win this match. Of course, Theodora would need to be cautious while facing her. She didn't want to make it a habit to underestimate her opponent, which could backfire on her in the worst way possible. Sure, Theodora might have a high opinion on herself and low opinion on others, but she also made sure to never underestimate her opponents.

Soon, Theodora entered the ring and looked at the direction of Haruka. She looked like a silly, airheaded ditz, but she had promised to herself to not underestimate her opponent. So, she would look at the other woman while making her way to her corner, waiting for the match to begin. She had no idea what the other woman was capable of, and the only way to find it out was through facing her in the ring. She leaned against the turnbuckle, observing her opponent all the while.

Haruka saw Theodora and the thoughts about her skill started to go through her head. She looked like someone who had seen success for someone new to LAW. She wanted to see what she was made of and was already fantasizing about what she would do to learn. Stretching out this specimen would be the kind of match everyone wanted and Haruka would enjoy. Whatever Theodora thought of her Haruka would move in closer to greet the babe. “Now here’s why I love a new face. No one’s really seen what you can do have they?”

Theodora raised an eyebrow as she listened to Haruka's words. Well, it was true that she was new here, though she did make her name back in the US, in a relatively well-know, albeit currently-defunct promotion, and Theodora brought herself here in Japan to ensure that everyone would know her name. "Heh... that is indeed true, but try to not underestimate me just because I'm new here."

Standing before Haruka, Theodora flashed a confident, almost-cocky smile before she stepped back, preparing herself for the match. The referee would come over to officiate the match, and after making sure that both wrestlers were ready, the bell was called, and the match would begin. To start off the match, Theodora would circle her opponent a bit before surging in to lock up with her in a grapple.

“New here only means new to LAW. Not the ring. I know better than to look at such sound specimen such as yourself and think that’s too wet and inexperienced to see for myself.” Haruka’s curiosity was flowing as she looked at the spandex of that outfit. The body type was a casual and under appreciated figure that she loved to see laid out on the floor or over an operating table. It had been too long since she had been able to play with a victim and she wanted to do it right now. She moved in at the sound of the bell and locked up with Theodora and simply pushed like a sumo wrestler. She was ready to go chest to chest and smash into her with more power to get a chance to see what she could do faster.

Locked up in the grapple, Theodora could feel the push from Haruka, and she would attempt to resist the push as she would also push back against her opponent. With the two of them trying to gain leverage over one another, they ended up entering a stalemate as the two of them continued grappling with one another in their effort to gain an upper hand over each other.

"Rrrghhh!!"

Grunting, Theodora would try to push herself against Haruka, pressing her own chest against the other woman's, propelling herself forward in her effort to gain an upper hand over her. She gritted her teeth, mustering her strength so that she could emerge victorious in this exchange.

The lock up had stayed a grueling stalemate for over a minute now. She could feel Theodora pushing harder and her muscles tightening until she was definitely getting the best of Theodora’s power. Haruka was giving it back and the matter of who the strongest was could be settled here and now. It was anyones guess how a contest like this could end up going. Haruka would want to see it through for the sake of knowing the answer. “This is what I like. Getting this close to someone and seeing what they can do.” Her curiosity reached its peak and she decided to find out for sure. She pushed with her legs pressed forward to see if Theodora could hold her back or be brought down by Haruka’s strength.

Feeling the strength of her opponent, Theodora gritted her teeth, trying to stand her ground. She still maintained the stalemate between the two of them, but even she knew that she couldn't maintain it forever. She needed to do something to break the stalemate and put herself in an advantageous position over her opponent.

"I-is that so? T-then... w-what do you think about this, then?"

While the two of them were still locked up, Theodora would suddenly shift her position, freeing one of her arms before attempting to loop it around Haruka's head, planning to pull it into a side headlock. Planting her feet on the mat, she would attempt to yank her opponent's head and wrench it in order to put her under pressure.

Theodora could hold it but not maintain it eventually she would need to find something else to help hold off Haruka who was pushing into her more and more. Haruka had no plans of stopping and wanted to see her answer. It came so fast it surprised the Nurse, one second she was looking into those eyes and finding a moment of struggles that ensued. The next she was pushed against her and forced to look to the side when Theodora pulled her into a side headlock. Fascinating for her even if it was something done a few thousand times in wrestling. “Hegh. I think it speaks highly of how you. And the way you remain traditional in your wrestling.” Haruka remain impressed and interested. No longer looking to be passive and wait she would pull on Theodora’s waist and push her along. She wanted her close to the ropes and show Theodora that while she had the advantage now she was still in a match that would need her to do everything in her power to win or be a test subject and a loser.

Having Haruka in the side headlock, Theodora began wrenching her head in order to gain leverage over her, but Haruka then pushed her towards the ropes. "Traditions are there for a reason..." Theodora told Haruka. Soon, she ended up touching the ropes with her body, and Theodora thought of what to do next.

Ultimately, Theodora had decided to let go of Haruka's head and thought of her next move. Pushing away from the ropes, she would push herself against Haruka as well as she prepared herself to grab onto her opponent in order to carry out her next move.
