Cosmic Lightning - Toshimi Minami (D) vs Su Keqing

This was it. Minami had secured her submission finisher on Keqing, shortly after she was able to go without limits no less. But just because she had locked in the finishing maneuver didn't mean she'd get the tap out right away. Narrowing her eyes in surprise from Keqing's resilience Minami knew she would have to be careful about how she proceeded. After all she was on the cusp of victory and Keqing was exhausted and clearly in extreme pain, but if she was smart she could reverse things.

Something that Minami refused to allow happen. Pulling back a bit further on the Chinese rookie's arms Minami would also lean backwards further pressing her back against Keqing's own. It appeared that this may be all, an extra degree of torquing to try and bring Keqing the last few paces necessary to submit.

Those who thought that however would be dead wrong. In reality Minami was just giving herself the extra space necessary to add the piece de la resistance. In the form of her pulling her leg up and bending it around to where her foot now hovered over the top of Keqing's head, letting the shadow hover for a moment to let the girl know exactly what was about to happen.

Then the boot dropped. Literally. Minami showed her own flexibility, repeatedly shoving her foot down to stomp on her opponent's head repeatedly to bash the girl's face between the mat and her heel, adding a whole other layer of pain to the hold! "Submit!" Minami commanded as well, trying to force the girl to tap while pulling on her arm and stomping her head in!

The more Toshimi leaned back, the more unbearable the hold became for Keqing. She was still stubbornly refusing to submit though, even as Toshimi lifted her off the mat and began adding a back bend to the already tortuous hold. The referee again asked if she wanted to give, and again Keqing shook her head. She knew there was little she could to to break the hold, her hands grasping at the air to try and hold onto something of Toshimi's to break the hold, but getting nothing to grip onto.

A shadow passed over her face. Keqing found the wits to turn her head and look up, seeing Toshimi's foot hanging menacingly over her face. "Wait!" she cried out, but Toshimi didn't stop, bringing her foot down on the back of Keqing's head to grind her face into the mat!

"AHHH! HAAA FUCK!" Keqing swore. The pain was truly unbearable now, as it felt like Toshimi was about to pop her neck! The referee bent over one more time, looking down at Keqing and asking if she was going to submit.

"YES I SUBMIT!" Keqing screamed
She was finally done, there was no getting out of this, and she was beyond what she believed her pain limits were. At least she wasn't crying though, something that surprised even her.

It was over now. All but officially at least. The vicious combat between Keqing and Minami was coming to a close with Minami's ability to go all out now leading to a quick and decisive outcome of having the Chinese rookie trapped in her submission finisher move. All that it took now was Keqing finally tapping, or rather admitting defeat to finally end this torturous hold she was in.

Unfortunately for Minami the girl was being stubborn. Despite the pain she was in, despite the inability to escape the hold, Keqing still refused to give in. So Minami added just an extra bit of torture in to really finally end this with the girl. Rearing her leg up the veteran would begin bashing her heel down on her opponent, repeatedly bashing the woman's head in with a series of vicious stomps and a command for a girl to finally give in. A command that was finally obeyed by the rookie.

Hearing the girl scream her submission to her Minami would grin, knowing how good this made her look as she kept the hold in despite the bell ringing. Waiting for a few moments past the submission Minami would finally release her grip just before the ref could try and force her too. Sitting up off of the girl Minami would rest her arms on her knees, a small smile of satisfaction on her place as she looked down at the girl below her. Standing up she would roll the girl on her back before kneeling down over her. "Better than I thought." Minami admitted with a nod, paying her due of respect to the girl for what she had shown.

"I look forward to a rematch once you've improved." She said with a nod and holding her hand out, as if to shake her hand... except she instead would move her hand further up, giving Keqing a slightly mocking but overall light two pats on the face before standing up and having her hand raised by the referee whilst the fans cheered or booed for the veteran and her impressive display against the rookie Keqing!

Keqing didn't get any immediate relief after screaming her submission. Toshimi lifted her foot off her head, allowing her neck some respite, but kept her arms firmly trapped. And now that she had submitted, her will to fight extinguished, the agony of the submission hold became truly unbearable. Keqing refused to cry though, gritting her teeth to hold back her tears.

Finally Toshimi released her. Keqing fell facefirst into the mat, letting out a long sigh of relief as her arms were finally allowed to rest. She lay there facedown for a moment, panting softly as the pain slowly subsided from her arms, shoulders and back. She hoped that Toshimi was done with her now that she got the submission she wanted, but it seemed the veteran still wanted something from her.

The rookie groaned as Toshimi rolled her over. She blinked a few times as her eyes adjusted to the ring lights. Toshimi's acknowledgement felt hollow to Keqing, as she knew that the veteran had to hold back for most of the match, and the second she was allowed to let loose she beat her in an instant. She thought Toshimi would show her the respect of shaking her hand, but then the veteran patted her on the cheek in a manner that felt utterly condescending and humiliating. It made Keqing flushed with anger, but there was nothing she could say to Toshimi, who had bested her so convincingly.

"Oh I'm looking forward to it too Toshimi," Keqing thought as she watched the veteran exit the ring, "Next time, I'll get you for sure!"
