History: Skylar was born to a poor single mother in a small midwestern town. Her mom was always busy working to keep food on the table, leaving her to spend most of each day alone in the run down little house they rented. Sometimes it felt like she'd go days without seeing her mom, as she often left for work before she woke up and returned after she'd fallen asleep. She was the weird kid at school, and soon, the target of ruthless bullying. For years, she lived the life of an impoverished outcast, until one day when she was sixteen years old, something inside her just snapped. She lashed out violently against her bullies, sending three girls to the hospital. All of her suffering and resentment and anger was unleashed in one horrifying and cathartic act of violence, and it felt good. For all her life she'd been helpless, but in that moment, she was strong.
After this incident, she would be expelled from her high school, and enrolling in another unfortunately wasn't on the table, so she dropped out. Not wanting to be a burden on her mom, she quickly began looking for a job, but with a criminal assault on her record, it proved difficult, and when she did manage to secure a job, she quickly lost her patience with it and quit. She was at the end of her rope, anxious and unsure of what direction she could go in her life. It seemed like she was too messed up mentally to make anything of herself, that she wouldn't be able to find her place in the world, that she was already a failiure. But then, one day, she saw a poster for a professional wrestling show, and it clicked in her head. She'd never felt more free then when she'd let loose in violence. As a wrestler, she could let out all her anger, and make a living doing it. She called the promoter over and over, begging them to let her wrestle, and eventually, they relented. She didn't have money to pay for training, but she arrogantly thought she would do fine without it. She was wrong. For the first few months of her career on the indepent circuit, she was little more than a bratty jobber who talked a big game and ended up taking a beating. But Amanda Sterling, a veteran to the sport, saw the potential in her, and offered to train her for free. With Amanda's guidance, Skylar quickly improved, and as her skills grew, so did her ambition. When she started, wrestling was an outlet for her anger issues and a way for her to make money, but now she was thinking so much bigger. This was her way to move up in the world, to go from a poor, bullied loner, to a rich, acclaimed professional athelete. She did whatever it took to climb the ladder, ruthlessly beating down opponents and shamelessly cheating to get ahead. Early on, Skylar was incredibly protective of Nuo. If she percieved someone as so much as disrespecting her, she'd come after them, much to Nuo's chagrin. However after witnessing a major victory of Nuo's, she learned that the girl could fight her own battles, and has since become more level headed with her overprotectiveness in general. She's incredibly proud of how much Nuo has grown as a wrestler.
