The Sniper Sisters took North America by storm, quickly becoming one of the most successful woman’s tag teams in North America. Despite the success of the Sniper Sisters, there were fans that, while they would gush about how cute they thought Corey was, believed that Lily was the one carrying the team. Corey was hurt by this and wondered if the fans were right. She wanted to be more than a pretty face, she wanted to be a top tier wrestler, and she couldn’t do that if she was living in her sister’s shadow. Despite Lily’s insistence that she stay, Corey announced her resignation from the league and set off to find a place far away where she could start anew. Her journey brought her to Japan where she joined the LAW, a place free from her sister’s influence where the younger Sniper could make a name for herself.

Corey grew accustomed to her older sister coming to save her when she was placed in submission holds during tag team matches which lead to Corey becoming overly dependent on her.
