Personality: Thunder Ryuko is a decorated Wrestle Angels veteran and former champion. She demands to be treated as such. Around the ring and training areas she is proud, and can be aloof or snobby to others. Those that get to know her see a different side to the Thunder Empress, but the number of people who can say this are very small as she maintains a professional distance much of the time.
History: Ryuko Yoshida grew up with affluent parents in Tokyo, and never wanted for anything. She did well in school but excelled in atheltics. Ryuko was fascinated with wrestling and always tried to compete with boys in school. That didn’t go over well and in high school she found a girls wrestling training gym and spent a lot of time there.
Initially her parents were not happy although once they saw how successful she was, and how a driven girl like her was destined to excel they relented and allowed her to pursue wrestling as a career. She made her way to Wrestle Angels, making a distinguished name for herself alongside women like Chris Morgan, Panther Risako, Mighty Yukiko, Bomber Kishima, and the like. After the unfortunate end of Wrestle Angels, the Thunder Empress took a small bit of time off to consider her future options when she heard of LAW. Not one to pass up a challenge, Thunder Ryuko signed on to make a name for herself inside the ring once more!
Fun Facts:
-Thunder Ryuko is very bashful when complimented. Especially by men.
-Thunder Ryuko tends to view foreign wreslters with a bit of disdain. She things the best female wrestlers are all Japanese and that Japan is the true home for womens wrestling.
