Chokeslam: Ava grabs her opponent by the throat, then grabs their back with her free hand. Ava lifts her opponent up into the air and slams them to the mat by their neck.
Personality:
Ava is a generally quiet sort, mostly tending to keep to herself whenever she's not actively out being social, something she mostly saves for when she's with friends. Whenever she's not in a match, Ava can usually be found watching TV, reading books, listening to music, and fiddling with miniatures, or working on her hobby motorcycle.
When with friends though, a switch gets flicked in the back of Ava's head. She goes from quiet to a loud mouthed chatterbox, cracking dumb jokes and refusing to shut up so long as her friends tolerate her. This is even more exemplified if they start drinking, at which point no force on earth can stop her from talking, except the addition of more alcohol causing her to pass out drunk. She's also known to have something of a sweet tooth, and will drag friends along to buy chocolate and candy if given the opportunity.
In the ring Ava is quiet, but friendly. She'll happily have a few before match words with her opponent, and so long as they fought fairly throughout, give them a handshake and some well wishes afterwards.
Past/History:
Ava was born in the town of Smiths Falls in Ontario, Canada. There she quickly got into sports, playing soccer, T-ball and, of course, the national passtime of hockey for most of her childhood. She wasn't particularly good at skating at first, landing her securely in the role of goalie for most of her early years, where she seemed to be a natural. During her years of being a goalie, she would often shutout the other team, gaining a reputation throughout the local league.
In highschool, Ava discovered her two loves - wrestling, and shop class. After having been introduced to wrestling during a gym class, she found the sense of balance she'd gained from hockey to be a great asset and wound up having a blast, joining the school's wrestling team. With her, the team managed to make it to the finals of quite a few tournaments, though they rarely actually won. Still, Ava had fun, and that was what was important to her.
It was shop that really won her over though, as she quickly fell in love with tinkering with machinery and putting cars and other mehanisms back together. When Ava reached her final year, she chose to take a co-op placement at a nearby mechanic shop, where she learned a lot about working on cars.
However, Ava didn't see a lot of potential for jobs around the town, especially after getting her application turned down by the mechanic she had worked for. So she took another job route, the army. Through a recruiter she had been friends with, Ava put an application in for the Royal Canadian Air Force for a school scholarship, and to her relief got accepted.
After spending four years in college, Ava followed through and became a mechanic for the RCAF. But, it wasn't everything she had hoped for and after her four years of service, she decided to try out her other love from highschool, and joined an amateur wrestling league.
Here Ava had a lot more fun, but found that it jut wasn't paying the bills. When this came up, one of Ava's friends suggest she join the LAW, a suggestion Ava decided to give a shot. Taking some of the money she'd saved up while in the army she shipped out and went about trying to make a new life for herself in Japan.
