Backstory:
Born and raised in Osaka to a middle class family, Oki had a more humble upbringing than her modern attitude would suggest. Always having a talent for singing since a young age, her parents pushed her to pursue it along with sports, as she seemed to dip her toes into just about everything growing up, while still prioritizing music.
When she was sixteen, she and two "friends" from school formed a group called Starlash, and after a year, the group had taken off, becoming quite popular performing regularly despite Oki's ego often rubbing the other members the wrong way. The group ended up appearing on TV in cameos and advertisements, and eventually, their manager got them a deal with a wrestling promotion to perform at some of their shows. Oki took a bit more interest in this than the other two members of the group, eventually asking to be taught and put in a match for the promotion, seeing it as a chance to attract even more fans and become more popular than the group itself. Oki began to train for a few months, blowing off concerts and straining her relationship with the group. After proving to be quite a good learner, Oki had her wrestling debut match!
Oki had taken on a mix of styles, prioritizing flashy high flying moves and mixing in strikes and submissions. Oki put her starting arsenal of moves on display against her first opponent, stretching, elbowing, and throwing everything at the woman while also taking hits herself until she managed to roll up the woman.
With her wrestling debut in the dust, Oki went back to her music career with a lot of new fans. But something was different, she felt bigger than the rest of the group with her newfound fame! Oki quit the group later in the year, making headlines as all three of them started their solo careers. Oki wasn't about to let her friends have fame without her permission, though. Oki took every opportunity to have concerts at the same at nearby venues to her former groupmates' concerts to sabotage their solo careers. While launching her first solo album, Oki returned to wrestling and wrestled several matches while promoting her music. After a while of sabotaging her former friends' careers, she saw an opportunity for even more attention and popularity, talking her two former friends into reforming the group part-time. It seemed Oki was on top of the music world in every way possible.
There was just one more aspect of her career that Oki was yet to conquer. Her wrestling career! Taking full control of this aspect of her career, Oki used her connections and popularity, eventually getting a contract with LAW's premier wrestling promotion, LAW!
