Personality: Elena is one of the nicest people you'll ever meet, despite how unlucky she's been in life. But that doesn't mean she'll go easy in the ring as she's determined to achieve her dream of becoming a famous wrestler. Unfortunately she's not a very good wrestler, but she managed to build up a good reputation at a previous promotion thanks to her friend Morgan Cross.
Her reputation often gets her into matches that she's not ready for. However many of her opponents go easy on her once they realize how weak she is, either not wanting to expose her as a fraud or afraid to upset Morgan. Though if an opponent wanted to, most of them could destroy her easily.
Background
Elena had not had the greatest upbringing. Bullied in school, neglected at home as the third of five children, and often taken advantage of due to her kind and naive nature. She also seemed to have incredibly bad luck. She's always sick during the holidays, has a 7% winrate on coin tosses, and when she got her first part-time job the place was shut down the very next day for money laundering.
But despite everything, she has never become any less kind. No matter what the world decides to throw at her, she moves past it, towards her dream. She had a lifelong passion for wrestling, and if nothing else went right for her, she hoped that she can at least have this one dream.
So she trained as hard as she could and was eventually able to sign on with a local indie promotion. This was her big break! But unfortunately the manager wanted to use her as nothing more than a jobber, booking her first match against the promotion's champion, Morgan Cross! Unaware of the intent behind the match and just excited to be there, she spoke to her opponent before the match, the most frightening woman in the promotion, wishing her good luck and telling her how grateful she was to have a match with her, basically giving her entire life story.
Then the match started, and Elena quickly found herself outmatched, getting completely dominated in the opening minutes. Her dream was slipping away as the crowd cheered on Morgan's performance. But then, for the first time in her life, she got lucky.
Morgan fortunately wasn't truly as scary as her reputation suggested and found she had a soft spot for the young girl, being moved by her kindness despite her past. And so she began to pull her punches. In the end Morgan couldn't even bring herself to pin Elena and lost the match.
Elena had won a title in her first ever match!!! She couldn't believe it! She expressed her gratitude towards Morgan for such an amazing match, unaware of what had really happened. Elena went on to build a strong reputation for herself, winning many of her future matches, although most of her opponents went easy on her, not wanting to be the one to expose her as a fraud.
