Wrestling Info

Entrance music - The Kiss of Death
Alignment - Face (Chaotic Neutral)
Fighting Style - Focused more on fanservice than efficiency, Okimi fights with a degree of panache, jumping around, flipping herself and her opponent with an array of bedazzling moves to mesmerize the audience and the foe. Her strategy revolves around rushing down her adversary, hitting them with a whirlwind of blows before they know it— all while looking fabulous. Should her adversary weather the storm, Okimi has little issue with keeping up the pressure, forcing them into action to fend her off.
Type - Acrobatic All-Rounder
Basic Moveset - Roundhouse Kicks, Enzuigiri, Bulldogs, Headscissors, Hip Attacks
Strengths - Armed with incredible stamina and agility, Okimi can run circles around a lot of fighters. In particular the redhead's strikes hit fast and hard, and she's an adept at flying. Her adorable, charismatic demeanor galvanizes the crowd and can cause the foe to underestimate her— a dire mistake if caught at the wrong time. She's also highly adaptable, able to promptly switch strategies in response to the situation. An overall capable combatant.
Weaknesses - Okimi's emphasis on style over practicality can backfire at times, especially against patient foes who can calmly endure her oppressive style and avoid getting distracted by her skilled movements and playful allure. One other quirk that can be taken advantage of is how much she plays up her gimmick: as "Cerberus," she can be enticed with things that appeal to dogs, such as treats, being petted, or even playing fetch. Sometimes she may even bicker with her own puppets, giving the foe an opportunity to strike.

Signature moves

Personality: Serving as LAW's "Watch Dog," Okimi is often put on security guard duty, but finds the job a drag and is easily distracted from her post. She'll think up just about any excuse to skip out on hard work, using her charm to butter up and cutely captivate whoever she needs to. She prefers to secure her value to LAW by catering to the fans on-screen instead of doing a bunch of matches— wanting to avoid exerting that much effort. Still, her curiosity can entice her to try a little harder if it looks fun. Okimi is dedicated to her Cerberus alias, ventriloquizing with her hand puppets to make the other two “heads,” named Coco and Mimi. The two tend to be fussy and amusingly at odds with the lazy redhead, and she likes using them to set up punchlines for bad puns or even gossip about a foe right in front of them. Having lived the stressful experience of being the sole provider for her two younger sisters during their youth, Okimi’s separation from them since has resulted in the laid-back demeanor she possesses— a luxury she can afford now that she's out of Yoshiwara. Nevertheless, the Okimi is still capable of providing a caretaker’s support for those who remind her of her dear siblings. Despite all this, Okimi is a dangerous and capable fighter, and will swiftly drop the adorable facade if anyone tries to mess with her hand puppets or take them away from her.

History: Okimi was born in the city of Yoshiwara, orphaned alongside her two younger sisters. The sibling trio endured an impoverished childhood, forming a tight bond together. Though the two wanted a pet dog, Okimi, lacking in funds, instead gifted her sisters each with a little hand puppet resembling a puppy. The sisters took these with them wherever they went, even up to adolescence. Tragedy would strike however as her siblings, younger & weaker than Okimi, were kidnapped in the dead of night, leaving behind their beloved dolls. The redhead pursued the transgressors, but was badly beaten for her efforts; it was all the battered Okimi could to do to watch as her only family was taken from her, her consciousness fading into the abyss. Later the redhead awoke on a bed, her wounds dressed. Her savior was a blonde with face scars, clad in black garb; apparently the leader of an organization called “Hyakka,” the woman found Okimi & took her in, warning her the area was a hotspot for roaming kidnappers to cash in on the lucrative courtesan trafficking trade that prevailed over the corrupt city. Hyakka was Yoshiwara’s paramilitary, the bulk of whose members were primarily composed of rescued courtesans trained in self-defense. Outwardly the organization posed as a shadowy force of vigilantes tasked with doing the government’s dirty work, but in reality the group actively conspired against its unjust orders. Instead of leaving her to chase the abductors on her own, the blonde offered to take Okimi under her wing, promising she would help her recover the lost siblings.

Agreeing, Okimi stayed & underwent the tutelage of the blonde, who called herself “Tsukuyo.” While the redhead grew stronger and more proficient in combat, time would not be so kind as her sisters’ trails would run cold, bringing Hyakka's investigation to a stall... that is, until the group gained a new benefactor. With the additional funds, Hyakka’s operations flourished, & grew to the cusp of locating both her sisters. Only then did Okimi learn that the benefactor who helped them get to this point had been thrown in jail for it. She mounted a rescue effort, breaking the man named "Tetsumi" out of prison. Now a wanted criminal in the eyes of Yoshiwara's tyrants, Okimi entrusted the safety of her beloved family with Tsukuyo and fled the city, knowing it would only endanger her sisters if she stayed. Understanding her sacrifice, Tetsumi traveled alongside her, & the two would set off to find new work. For Okimi, that was a place to put her well-honed training to use; a particular big-time wrestling league caught her eye. The redhead applied to LAW, developing the cutesy persona of "Cerberus" as she learned the ropes of being the ring. Bringing along her two doll puppets, precious keepsakes, Okimi ardently awaits the day she can reunite with her family in peace. Until then, she might as well have some fun, right?

Extra Facts:
  • Asides from the hand dolls fitting the theme, Okimi's motivation for choosing her dog persona was an excuse to kick back and not be not be too serious. At least, an attempt to be...
  • Okimi's interests include fighting games, metal music, and sewing. Uses the latter to preserve her puppet dolls. Paired with her knitting skills, she has a collection of cute hand-made plushies at home, including accessories for each.
  • Likes going on walks, novelties, napping, and playing tricks
  • Dislikes responsibility, high-strung people, plain things
  • Okimi prefers guys who aren't too pretentious, willing to play along with her whims. She's not entirely so unflappable herself though, and loves being praised, having lacked it during her youth looking after her younger sisters.

Plot Ideas/Preferences

Addendum - Made to serve a sisterly role for the gals at LAW, and synergizes well with other similarly-silly characters. Still, with her backstory she can be used to relate to other who have gone through similar trials in their lives, or have her seemingly careless personality vex more determined fighters, who may be disgusted by her blatant style over substance philosophy. Could be used for several kinds of matches, though a dog collar match is especially notable given her gimmick.
