She is particularly fond of using two types of weapons in her matches, a steel baton she stole off a police officer, and a metal pipe that she likes to use as a quarterstaff.

Personality:
Tough as nails and born to fight, Bella is stubborn and headstrong. She is used to fighting to get her way, though she isn’t a particularly needy person as she has simple tastes. Despite the tough outer appearance though, Bella is also someone who can be relied upon for help. She prefers to fight only people who are just as tough as she is, disliking those who prey on the weak just to satisfy their egos. And she hates posers who act more tough than they actually are. Because Bella has seen what real tough people are like, and she is one of them, she can tell from a mile away who is actually strong, and who is just faking it.

Past/History:
Growing up on the south side of Russia right after the fall of the Soviet Union, Bella had a tough upbringing. Her family were poor factory workers for generations. During her youth, both her parents got laid off from their jobs, and they had to scrape by with whatever small amounts of work and money they were able to get. They weren’t alone like this, as almost everyone they knew in their neighborhood suffered the same way. Living in such an environment, where you didn’t know whether you’d be able to eat dinner in the evening, made the children of the neighborhood quite desperate. As such, theft was common, and fights often broke out over things as small as an apple.

Being a girl, Bella was often targeted by older children for the food she had. Though times were tough, her parents still tried their hardest to provide for their children. Bella learned quickly though that if she wanted to keep what she had, she needed to fight for it. And boy was she able to fight. Before she was even 10 years old, she had earned a reputation as the girl who was born to battle, as not only was she able to fight off boys much older than her, she began actively seeking out fights against bullies to protect her friends.

Things went from bad to worse for Bella though, as when she was 13 her father got murdered by the serial killer who would eventually come to be known as the Bitsa Park Maniac. With her father dead, their already poor family condition spiraled out of control. Her mother descended into alcoholism, leaving Bella to fend for herself. The girl survived through her teenage years in and out of various gangs, getting involved in street fights and petty crime, always just skirting the edges of the law. It was also during this time that she blossomed into quite the pretty young woman, someone who did not look nearly as rough and tumble as she actually was. All that came together to give her the street moniker of Battle Princess, a title she found quite fitting.

Bella did eventually get into enough trouble with the law to have her and the gang of disaffected youths she hung around arrested. Before she was imprisoned though, she was approached by a representative of a mysterious wealthy oligarch. This person had heard of the Battle Princess, and wanted to give her an opportunity to really use her talents. And so Bella was given a choice, go to prison, or get sent to Japan to take part in hardcore fights against strong opponents. Naturally, Bella chose the latter. With the backing of her mysterious patron, Bella got flown to Japan and signed up to take part in the hardcore tournament that would be taking place within LAW in the near future…
