History: Kyoko had a promising life, with a decent home, a respectable family, and an education that was supporting her. The problem was, she was never the smartest of people, and too lazy and disinterested when it came to her education to pay much attention to class. If she even showed up where she was supposed to in the first place. Combine that with her dating a known troublemaker, and her best friend Misako being just as bad, it was little wonder that she would get roped into their antics as well.

Getting involved in a fair few street fights over whatever excuse she could find to be dragged in, it wasn’t long before Kyoko racked up a reputation as no one to mess with. The fact that she had a long and proud history of being involved with sports, being at the top of her school’s volleyball club, certainly didn’t hurt her in terms of physical fitness, and she even managed to draw on some of her teachings to benefit her on the streets.

After she and Misako went on one particular rampage, tearing through a large portion of their town and beating down just about everyone in their path - as well as both managing to avoid arrest, largely by being too terrifying for anyone to even think of apprehending - they decided that they didn’t want to stop any time soon; beating people up, for Kyoko, was just too fun. With the alternative being jail time, they elected to seek out a career that would allow them to do that with a modicum of respectability: professional wrestling. Signing on as a tag team, they joined up with LAW. And, soon enough, they caught the attention of a like-minded girl, one Sachiko Koizumi. She was impressed with their skills and their attitude - and in no small part with their looks - and offered to hang out with them. Which, for Sachiko, tended to mean beating people up and extorting their money. Bringing the three of them into a stable, they were soon ready to take on LAW.

Under the Heartbreakers, Kyoko, Misako, and Sachiko quickly carved out a name for themselves as one of the promotion's most fearsome tag teams, dominating the action by threat of violence, and by force if they needed to. For a while, it looked like they were on top of the world, and that no one could possibly stand in their way. Ironically, though, it wouldn't be an outside force that would start the Heartbreakers' undoing, but their own leader.

The Heartbreakers were booked for a 2v3, No Holds Barred handicap match against the team of Jonathan Steele and Ryan Brown - but rather than those names, they would come face to face with...something else. Both Jonathan and Ryan had been taken over by their dark sides and swayed over to the Selection, and when the Heartbreakers were forced to go up against opponents with seemingly supernatural powers far beyond anything they could expect to overcome, they were powerless to stand against them. If there was any nail in the coffin, though, it was when Sachiko was forced to leave the match. She wasn't even supposed to be there - she was under probation that forced her to team up with her rival Veronika Noir in the Heart Connection as punishment for disrupting a main event. Sachiko had tried to skirt the rules by taking advantage of the tag team stipulations to sneak in in plain sight, but it was no use. The promotion found out anyway, and she was thrown out of the competition - leaving Kyoko and Misako to their opponents' mercy.

Both of them were swiftly overcome, and through the powers of the Anomaly, they were hypnotized into his service, taking on new personas in the process. Kyoko adopted the name and personality of Miza, and though she continues to act as herself normally, at any moment the Anomaly can flip the switch, turning her into an instrument of his will and forcing her to carry out his every command. They were placed in a team of their own alongside Roxanne Wolf as the Wild Jackals, and there, they intend to serve their master whenever he wills it.

Personality: Kyoko is someone who, if life turned out a different way, probably would have ended up a very different person than she is now. With her bubbly disposition and naturally friendly attitude, she tends to get along with most people. That tends to disarm people quite readily when one considers that she also is highly aggressive and enjoys getting in a good fight, as well as being ruthless enough to not hold back when she is in one. She’s got a strongly competitive spirit and doesn’t back down easily, which can also make her quite bull-headed, and isn’t always in her best interests when it can lead to her pushing herself too hard. Kyoko is also quite an airhead and can be oblivious to things, and she’s impulsive and tends not to think things through before acting. Often times it has to be her partners who need to point her in the right direction.

As Miza, Kyoko largely behaves as she would otherwise, but is slavishly devoted to the Anomaly and to Roxanne and follows every order she's given. Her personality is amplified to its greatest extremes, and she can act almost cloyingly sweet and cheerful to the point of being childish - but with the unnerving mannerisms of a limp zombie or a mannequin with its strings cut, often assuming unnatural positions and letting her head dangle on the side of her neck. She holds nothing but malice and cruelty in her heart, no matter how she may express it to the world.

Trivia:
  • Kyoko is unusually strong and resilient for someone of her size, and she’s been known to shrug off pain easily. This can come as a surprise to her opponents.
  • She finds memes and internet humor to be hilarious, and has a fondness for browsing forums and social media after a show to see how people reacted to it.

Fighting Style: As befitting a former street fighter, Kyoko’s mainly a brawler, much like the other members of her stable. Of the three, she has the least formal wrestling training, so she improvises more with her techniques, relying on her strength and striking ability to get by. She’s an aggressive fighter, not being one to hold back or go easy on anyone, and she’s happy to use weapons when she can get away with it. Kyoko also happens to be physically stronger than a lot of people give her credit for, and she’s got a surprisingly strong grasp of throws, slams, and power moves. In terms of strikes, Kyoko tends to prefer kicks, and many of her stronger moves, including her finishers, make use of her lower body strength.

Favored Match Types: Kyoko doesn’t particularly have a preference on what kinds of matches she gets involved in, as long as she has fun with it - and she usually does, in all honesty. She usually works as a tag partner with Misako (and occasionally Sachiko), but she’s perfectly capable of handling things on her own. She’s also one to do hardcore matches and street fights, putting her experience in such matters up to the task.

Finishing Moves:
Dragon Feet
Typically done with her opponent backed into the corner, Kyoko unleashes a rapid volley of kicks to her opponent’s chest.
Handstand Kick
Kyoko pushes herself up on one hand while spinning around and kicking at her opponent that way.

Relationships with Other Characters:
  • Misako Enjoji is Kyoko’s best friend forever! And, additionally, a long-term partner in crime. Even though they went to different schools, they still hung out a lot together, often because Kyoko happened to forget which school she went to. It was only natural, then, that she would follow her to LAW, where they continue to work together as a team.
  • Sachiko Koizumi is a newer friend to Kyoko, but she’s still cool! She looks up to her for her fighting prowess and how tough and badass she is (Kyoko’s own words), and she respects her for serving as the de facto leader of their little gang. She doesn’t know why she’s so...touchy-feely, though.
  • Under the control of the Selection, Miza answers to Roxanne Wolf as the Selection's Chief of Security, and follows her command unquestioningly as a member of the Wild Jackals. She sees her as her natural superior, and accepts her place in the hierarchy.
