History: Marzia came from an average family living in Rome, where she studied engineering at the local university, which trained her in the analytical mindset she applies to her matches. While in school, she took on an exchange program in the US, where she made a few friends who introduced her to the world of professional wrestling. Although she had only had a little prior experience with wrestling on her high school team, she got sucked in when she started doing some training and found herself gravitating to the life of a wrestler. She went on to tour some smaller indie circuits to help pay her college tuition, which eventually led to her getting involved with a few other promotions stateside - including World of Womens' Wrestling and United Supreme Pro Wrestling, where she met Ryan "Fireball" Brown, who she would later marry on a trip to Mexico. After that, LAW was just another step on her road to glory. Although the prospect of being in such a big promotion and getting widespread exposure intimidated her at first, she had to admit she couldn't resist the chance to be part of something greater and have her shot at fame and fortune.
Unfortunately for Marzia, those aspirations didn’t always line up with what she was faced with in her day-to-day reality. Though she always tried her hardest and fought to overcome the odds, time after time she came up short, and she wasn’t able to maintain the success she hoped for. With what seemed like the same story playing out time and time again, she felt discouraged. She was always the underdog, but never had the chance to come out on top.
That was when she had her fateful match against Gail Whitaker, one she managed to win. Not only that, Gail was impressed with the prowess she saw in Marzia, and she offered to take her under her wing. Though she was unsure at first, Marzia was willing to bite the bullet if it meant finally getting the success she had always hoped for, and she began training with the rebellious girl.
But while Gail taught Marzia to overcome her limits and achieve new levels, it wasn’t the only thing she taught her to surpass. She also taught Marzia to be more assertive and willing to go rough on people, even to bend the rules if she could get away with it and it could help her get ahead. This came as a shock to the Italian girl, who had always been one to strive for honest success by her own efforts. But when she had tried so many times before, with such little success, the offer seemed tantalizingly appealing…
After completing her training under Gail’s guidance, Marzia emerged as a whole new woman ready to take on the competition of LAW. She wasn't used to being mean to people, and she still had her hesitations - but she couldn't deny it; what Gail had put her through had borne results. She was finally finding success, and she was willing to chase after that, no matter how strange it made her feel. Her new assertive attitude won her a few matches, and she no longer had to run away from her past. That was, until she was greeted with a memory she wasn't ready for.
When Marzia made an open challenge to prove she had overcome her weaker self, the people to answer it were her old trainer, Jonathan Steele - and her husband, who tried to win her over after she'd turned her back on her old life. Suddenly confronted by the very people she never thought she would ever see again, not even Marzia's tough facade could hold up. Still, she had vowed she'd never turn back, and she saw this as her chance to prove that. She declared that she would take on the challenge, seeing it as her chance to put the past to rest for good.
But no matter how much Marzia tried to prepare herself, she wasn't ready for what was ahead of her. The match was no ordinary match. When she and Jonathan met face to face once again, Jonathan too had changed - embracing the persona of the Anomaly, and embracing the darkness of the Selection, having freed himself from his old boundaries and limits. Marzia couldn't hope to compete with his psychological warfare tactics, which left her questioning her own reality, and before she knew it, she was overtaken. And there, the Anomaly promised to take her under the Selection's wing - to truly help her conquer the fear, anxiety, and hesitation that had ruled her for all too long. Whether she liked it or not.
After that match, Marzia had been reinvented, assuming the persona of Roxanne Wolf - the tough, aggressive, no-nonsense brawler she had always wanted to be. With her new persona, she partnered with fellow Selection disciples Saka and Miza as the ringleader of the Wild Jackals - and she won't let anyone tell her she isn't tough enough to survive.
Personality: Marzia is a pretty shy girl in most cases, and she doesn't usually put herself up to something unless she's forced to or recommended by someone else. Perhaps her strongest point, however, is her determination. Though she has her anxiety to overcome, she isn’t one to back down. Once she is committed to something, she won't give up, and trying to keep her from accomplishing her goal will only make her angry and more motivated to fight for it. She's likely to get stage fright or get embarrassed from having too many people looking at her, but conveniently, she manages to do well enough in a wrestling ring because she can get over her initial anxiety in order to fight on. It’s only around people she's more close to when she tends to open up and be more personable, but she’s very loyal to her friends, so someone urging her to fight on will usually do the trick, particularly if she would want to impress them or look strong for them. Marzia also angers easily, and she’s more likely to make mistakes when she doesn't have the time to think things through. Because of her anxiety, she also doesn't take taunts well. In particular, she's very self-conscious about her curvy frame, and embarrasses easily when it draws people's attention.
As a heel, Marzia had tried to grow more assertive, talking back and not taking bullshit from anyone, per Gail’s suggestions. This wasn't something that came naturally to her, and the cracks would always show when she tried to talk tough. In her new persona as Roxanne, however, she's fully lost herself in her anger, becoming brutal, merciless, and driven by rage, and whipping herself into a fury in the ring. She won't let anyone stop to think that she could ever be as weak as she was.
Trivia:
- Marzia is very interested in cars and how they work. Back in Italy she had a hobby of working with them, but she finds that harder to work in when she’s traveling.
- She owns a Great Pyrenees named Bear, who she considers one of her closest friends.
- Marzia has a bit of a perverted streak, and she can get nervous around attractive men and women. This usually just ends up embarrassing her more, as she’s ashamed she can’t keep her composure around people.

Fighting Style: In the ring, Marzia finds that she works best wrestling a ground-focused technical style, getting opponents off their feet and at her mercy. She excels at pressing her advantage when she has it and making sure her opponents can't do much to oppose her. In addition, when her mind is focused, she tends to work very methodically, focusing on taking out her opponents limb by limb with joint locks to weaken their attacks, particularly if she sees her opponents might have a particular limb they depend on for their moveset, and making sure that they're going to be weaker than her as quickly as possible so that she can go in and take the lead.
Of course, more often than not her opponents manage to upset her to the point she can't focus, and then her style goes into straight-up power, becoming less methodical and concentrating on doing as much damage as possible without considering the consequences. At the same time, she can lose her focus and make more mistakes this way.
As Roxanne, Marzia fully embraces her anger, and she shows that in the ring by taking on a more frantic, brutal brawling style, driven more to inflict pain and bruises on her opponents than to dominate them in the ring. She isn't afraid to go beyond the limits of the rules in how she deals with her opponents, including scratching, biting, and low blows, as well as more freely using foreign objects. She wants to send a message that she's changed, and that she won't be soft again - and sometimes, she feels the best way to do that is through violence.
Favored Match Types: In the past, Marzia typically stuck to more standard matches so she knew what to expect, but since her heel turn, she’s been trying to expand her horizons. She does have experience with submission matches as well, putting her command of holds and technical wrestling to the test. In particular, she's shown an interest in taking part in hardcore matches to truly demonstrate how strong she can be when she doesn't have anything to hold her back.
Finishing Moves:
Chokehold
Kimura Lock
Wolf Driver
Her new finishing move as Roxanne - a pumphandle back-to-belly piledriver.

Friends:
- Gail Whitaker helped Marzia overcome her fears, allowing her to get her foot in the door when it came to becoming a heel. She trained under her and occasionally backed her up in the ring, but since joining the Selection, Marzia feels that she's become even stronger and surpassed her need to associate with Gail.
- Marzia has a complicated relationship with both Jonathan Steele and Ryan Brown. Originally, the three of them were close friends and coworkers, with Jonathan training Marzia during the start of her career, and her and Ryan developing a relationship that eventually led to their marriage. However, since she embraced her new persona under Gail, Marzia came to view everything that came before that as holding her back from her true potential and cut contact...which became awkward when Marzia was reunited with the two of them during their trip to Japan. Now that all of them have been united under the Selection, however, Roxanne is willing to serve her new masters well.
