Fighting Style:
Layla is a woman of study. With almost all of her opponents practical open books in the ring because of their publicized matches, she'll often research them, find out their strengths and weaknesses, and use that against them. She can afford to do this because of her highly versatile skill-set, meaning she can wrestle most kind of matches at a high level, and adapt her gameplan to who she is ever facing, like a therapist preparing for a new kind of client. Against opponents who can't handle power, Layla can turn into a powerhouse, with plenty of moves that use her strength to bully her opponents. Against those who are not technically adept, Layla can get them to the ground and use and abuse them with all sorts of submissions, and against those who struggle against high-flying moves, Layla can go to the top rope and springboard herself, using her large body as a weapon.
She isn't perfect in all accords, which is why she chooses to exploit her opponent's weaknesses, rather than wrestling her own style, but perhaps the most deadly part of her is the psychological part of her wrestling. While her style almost always changes and adapts to her opponent, her use of deep, clawing questions about their personal lives and remarks on one's psychology can often throw her opponents off, especially while they're already on their backfoot.
Personality:
Layla is a cunning, sophisticated woman. She has spent years working as a therapist before becoming a wrestler full-time, and thus knows how to pick at people's insecurities, how to dig for their dark secrets, when someone is lying to her, and more. And while she doesn't harbor this knowledge maliciously, it doesn't stop her from using such knowledge to her advantage when in the ring when she needs to, which puts her on people's bad side because of such 'abuse'. Which is why she only does such psychological attacks when she needs to, and wrestles purely on her own merit when against weaker talent.
Outside of her use of theraputic skills, Layla is generally kind backstage, and even offers up sessions where wrestlers can dump their problems onto her, and she tries to give them the best solution for such.
History:
WIP.
Stats:
Strength: 4/5 – Standing taller than the usual middleweight and weighing more as well, Layla's strength is on the levels of heavyweights, able to lift those of each weight class with relative ease, though she can struggle with the heavier women.
Speed 4/5 – Layla moves with the speed and elegance of a gazelle, taking long strides and having quick reflexes, especially for her size
Agility: 3/5 – While not super agile, Layla is fairly flexible and can navigate the ropes rather smoothly.
Endurance: 4/5 – Layla can take a lot of damage, quite resilient to both physical and mental attacks, though enough of the former can still take her down.
Charisma: 5/5 - Layla's experience as a therapist means she has a silver tongue, usually able to sway others with her words, or hurt them if necessary.
Wrestling Stats:
Strikes: 4/5 – Layla strikes with precision, favoring elbows, forearms and kicks, though she is also adept with punches and knees.
Submissions: 4/5 – Gifted on the ground, Kayla can wrestle a tight technical match, with good transitions and wear-down submissions to build for the end.
Powerhouse: 5/5 – Layla's best source of offense, her power game for a middleweight is great, able to toss around those heavier than her regularly, and treating women of her own size and below like ragdolls.
Aerials: 3/5 – Not her main style, it's one she can still go to nonetheless if she needs to, with her large body proving to be deadly if she lands any aerial/springboard assault.
Counters: 4/5 – With quick reflexes and a cunning mind, Layla can counter a good portion of offense, though she isn't as 'slippery' as she'd like to be.
