Past/History: Born to a marine biologist and a Navy father. Vanessa grew up very close to the sea. Yet unlike her parents, she was never interested in following in their footsteps. She wanted to travel the world and see all there was.
Of course, there wasn’t a good paying job that she liked that could do that for her. That is, until a local indie wrestling promotion came into town. The way that they battled and the cheers of the amazed crowd was incredible to the young Vanessa. And after speaking to one of the wrestlers as they passed by and learning about all the places they traveled to. Vanessa’s mind was set.
So at the young age of 18 she went out to join a wrestling school. Luckily for her, wrestling was a big deal in Canada so it didn’t take her long to find the right one. There she put herself through grueling training regiments to make herself the best she could be.
When her training was completed, she then began her dream of traveling the world. Living off of promotion after promotion before finding the one that fit her best. Sadly after a few years, said promotion shut down.
Vanessa found herself wandering once more. Until a an old rival and former tag partner told her about another promotion. One in the bright country of Japan. Safe to say, Vanessa didn’t need much convincing.
Fun Fact: She loves turtles and has one her apartment she calls blasto.
